I actually had one of the best experiences I've ever had in an auto shop on Friday June 7th. I had noticed a couple nights earlier that my passenger headlight was out so I stopped at another auto place and was able to purchase a light. I assumed like many things that we can replace on our own on our car I could just YouTube it and it looked easy but I couldn't fit my hand into where I needed it to go to twist off a top to put the headlight on. So I stopped at this AutoZone to see if they had a tour that I can borrow or buy that might fit around the lid so I could twist it off since I couldn't get my hand in there. David A. An employee there was very willing to come out take a look and help me out. The next thing I know he was hands in and working to get that cap off and then even trade it out the light that I had purchased from another place. He was so helpful and so willing to do it and I pointed out a couple times that I hadn't even purchased the item here and he was like we're here to help I'm glad to do it. It took a little work cuz he had a big hand too and he just had the perseverance to figure out and get it done so I left with a working light. So at the end of the day it's autozone, you know what you're getting when you walk through the door: a teenager or 20-something that knows nothing about cars, and barely knows how to look anything up in the computer. But it doesn't matter because if you drive anything newer than 2011 that isn't American or Japanese, they aren't gonna have the parts anyway. This autozone does have one thing in its favor though, and thats its hours of operation. This store opens earlier and stays open later than any other autozone in the metro. read more

Buying new windshield wipers takes an engineering degree these days. The Bosch display was supposed to be self-serve. It wasn't. Big thanks to Les who helped me get the right blade. When I found that one blade was an inch too long. He exchanged it without question and a smile on his face. I've had good experiences at this Autozone. I'd encourage you to patronize them. PART 2: One also needs an engineering degree to INSTALL the blade. Believe it or not, an Autozone CUSTOMER helped me do that. Thanks to the man in the white Ford Pickup. The individual that helped me checked my battery (that I had to get jumped to get there), and said it was working fine and likely didnt start before because the car hadnt been driven in a few weeks. He likely could have sold me a battery I didn't need so I really appreciate him taking the time to check and giving an honest opinion. I'll be back for an future issues/part needs. read more

Stopped in after 9 pm after leaving work. Needed help getting a stripped screw of the housing case that holds my tail lights, as I was pulled over the day before due to a burned out brake light (no ticket though)! Went in and met the manager Shawn Z. He was a very nice and friendly guy, and gladly helped to get the stripped screw off on the first try. After that he went the extra miles and took everything apart, got the burned bulb out of the melted socket, replaced the bulb, reassembled the housing and only charged me for the package of bulbs. All while in engaging in polite conversation. I value and appreciate GOOD customer service, this was GREAT customer service! read more

Shoutout to Todd, he is amazing. I just went in to get some windshield wipers, and he directed me right to what I needed, and went out to the parking lot and installed them for me in seconds. The whole trip took about 2 minutes. I so appreciate Autozone's professional and helpful staff. If you need car parts, esp as a woman, this is the place to go. I don't exactly get excited about shopping for car stuff. If you can't put it in your face or on your face, I'm not interested. But in order to buy the face stuff, I have often have to use my car, and my car's got needs, too. This Autozone location is staffed by very helpful and patient people. Patient with me when I say stuff like, "Okay, so, that cap thing you put on your tire? I mean, like you take it off when you put air in, and then you put back on when you're done? Well, I lost one of mine . . ." These things are called intake valve caps, if you're curious. I'm sure the young man who helped me suppressed the urge to roll his eyes back into his head. He then lead me to the exact section I needed to be in, and explained my options. I noted that when another customer walked in, and employee addressed him by name. That. Is. Service. After viewing some do it yourself YouTube videos, I went here for a couple of bulbs for a 1999 Toyota Camry. One for a tail light; the other an interior dome light. Guess what? They had both- yes (fist pump)!! Total cost was $12.88. The bulbs were sold in a 2 pack so I'm ready the next time there's another bulb burnout. I probably saved $100+ doing this myself. When other easier repairs come up, I'll definitely make a trip back here. read more

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. All I had to do was return headlight bulbs and I waited over 10 minutes as the cashier yelled out "Numbers" supposedly trying to get a manager to come to the front. Then she didn't do it right and I had to wait again as she yelled "Numbers" trying to summon the manager again. It seems they have very poor systems and processes for a simple return. I have been teetering in switching fully to online parts sourcing and I think this is the straw that broke the camels back. read more
