Ultimately, the solution involved some sort of safety switch hidden someplace no sane person would normally think of looking. While the clerk located and pushed the safety thingie, Hubby was able to get the car started. It seemed easy, but only if you know about the super-secret button. The clerk was very kind, very generous with his time, and very patient. Automotive stores all seem to be pretty much the same, really. But employees who care and are knowledgeable and patient are what makes this one stand out.

He then rattled off the info super quick and I couldn't hear him...when I asked him to repeated it (I could hear he was still there) He simply hung up on me. I called back and after 10+ rings he finally answered..knowing it was me, didn't say hello, just impatiently repeated the info (he clearly heard me say I needed clarification the first time.) I work with vendors and suppliers that work with this place (and work closely with one of the owners) and they actually recommended this place...and they will DEFINITELY hear about my experience. You never know who you are talking to when a customer calls...I imagine this will damage the business relationship they have with the owner who I work closely with. If customer service is this bad right out of the gate, you know this place is likely rotten in other areas. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! An extra 60 seconds and some kindness could have saved them from this review but tells you A LOT about a business.

Told the guy I wanted to return one and he said, "Wish you had told me before I finished ringing them through. Now I have to wait an hour while the sales makes its way through the system." This is why I buy on Amazon. Returns are never, ever a hassle. And there are never any excuses.

We went in there to see if they had a part we needed, we asked if we could try it and then if it doesn't work simply return it. (We've done this numerous times with AutoZone as they are notorious for selling the wrong part.) He told us no, that we cannot return the part once purchased. I called up there to ask what their return policy is, and he could not give a clear answer. I asked if this is his policy or corporate policy and he would not answer my question. Finally, he agreed to letting us come back and purchasing the part and then return if it doesn't work. We won't be returning because for all we know he could change his mind again and not let us return. He probably shouldn't be managing a team if this is how he treats customers.
