I'd give them five stars, except they were supposed to call me and let me know that the headlights I'd ordered and paid for online weren't in stock, contrary to what their web site said. When I didn't get the confirmation email that they were ready to pick up, like I usually do when I order something from them online, I stopped by the store to find out why. It all ended up okay, because they refunded me the cost and sold me a different pair, but I'd expected it to be a quick trip, and it instead turned into more of a project. On the other hand, Adam, who installed the one headlight for me, was great -- excellent customer service on his part. The guy who was supposed to call me and didn't (and admitted it while I stood there)? Not so much. Fortunately, because I've purchased from them several times, I know this isn't the norm. I've gone to the store multiple times, mainly because I live two minutes away right down the street, but every time, without fail, the service is poor. The guys at the register are always slow to respond and ultimately indignant if they have to help me find an item or even answer a question. But this last time was a new low. Once again it took about 5 minutes just to get their attention in order to ring me up, but this time, there was about seven or eight "friends" of the two guys working there. Literally like eight guys all standing behind the register counter staring at the customer. Honestly, it felt and looked more like a gang then anything else. And of course, all of them staring at me while I bring my items to the counter for purchase. So sorry to interrupt! This was such a great place to go. I came here to buy windshield wipers & the dude didn't hesitate to come out to the car, take it apart, and help me stall it in. I have 0 knowledge about cars, but I know how to drive one haha. He made this process really easy & fast and I appreciate the help. I didn't know that auto zone will help with this, but he also asked questions if I needed fluids and so on. Online I was looking for a battery for a 2006 Jeep Wrangler . Google found autozone, showed great pricing and I called them to confirm if they had the 4 choices listed. They did! They even swap out the battery for free. When I arrived Rogelio walked me through the options. All the info was consistent with the site and I even convinced myself to get the more expensive battery since I felt they were not trying to up sell me and it had a 5 year warranty, 3 year free replacement. Rogelio swapped out my battery and even did a quick computer check for free to see if u had any trouble codes. None! I came here to get my battery checked since I heard the service is free. The older man that greeted me was not the nicest guy in the sense that he did not look too happy to check a battery. However, my Mexican bro that worked there was friendly and took care of me the way a customer should be treated. He happily checked my battery and replaced it (free of labor charges). I had a serpentine belt and an alternator that I needed to return for the core charge. At first it was a little hectic because they had no record of me purchasing the item. And it was difficult cause I could find the receipt because I had made the purchase months ago. And then Wilfredo the Assistant Manager was beyond patient with me and looked through the computer systems to find the purchase still nothing eventually I was able to find my receipt and he was able to find my purchase with that info. Walked in to buy a headlight bulb. Wasn't totally sure what I needed. Person at counter took the make and model of my car and sold me headlight bulbs. I read the information off my insurance card. Never once asked me for the VIN number. Learned to install myself, correctly installed, light did not work. Gave up and took to mechanic who said it was the wrong bulb. Called and asked if they would take a return, since they sold me the wrong bulb. Was told yes on the phone, arrived several hours later to two young people who would not refund, as well as made me feel pretty stupid on top of it. Now, to be fair, my mechanic put the wrong bulb back in the package, but their argument for not refunding was because the package was open. The other bulb was clearly untouched. How was I supposed to know that the bulb wouldn't work unless I tried to install it? At the end of the day, if a partial refund for a $50 mistake on their end couldn't have been given, they could've at least been kind and apologetic. Instead, I got mansplained about giving the VIN number instead. When I asked why the person wouldn't have just asked for the VIN number, as I read the other information off my insurance card, he said he didn't know. Pretty lame. read more

I'm very pleased with the service here. I was upset because my car wouldn't start (not fun when that happens!). After we jump started it, we decided the battery was probably dead and headed here. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They checked to see if the battery was dead (for free), which it was. Then they gave me a few options of which batteries they offered. I decided to get the best one (there was only a $10 difference) and they replaced it for free. It literally took him 3 minutes. It also has a 8 year warranty. They have a bunch of other auto accessories as well. I would definitely come back here - their customer service was really great. That's hard to find in car places!! read more

I have bought many items at this store over a few years. I always have to ask for help because I don't usually know where to find something or which thing to buy. We have 3 different cars. I maintain them. I have bought oil, touch up paint, floor mats, windshield wipers, tail lights and head lights. I would not know which one to buy, but they are always willing to look up my make/model and find the right part. I have even had sales people explain to me how to cover rust, how to change a wiper, and have even refered me to Pep Boys when they didn't have the battery charger I needed. When my car battery began to splutter and I had to have two jump starts in one evening, I drove to this Auto Zone just before it closed and bought a new Duralast Gold battery with 5 year warranty. One of the very nice men working there installed it in my car for free (they do that there), in the cold rain, even though he had to use tools to get my old battery out! Do not shop here. This is in a small shopping strip located near a busy toys r us. I parked in front of this store where i have frequently been a customer and had my car towed within 10 minutes. I was going to eat at sushi 21 just 3 shops down. I had drpped my kids off earlier at toys r us and ran over to grab my kids before eating. There was no sign in front of where i parked alerting me they had "4" tow trucks waiting to take cars. When i learned that i was stranded with 4 other families i went into the store where they were dismisive and handing out tow truck pick up flyers. My children did not have coats on. There were other families crying because of similar situations. I will never patron this shopping strip again. I had planned on spending $30 dollars and am now paying $288. I was using the stores within this strip. I was told that this is standard practice at this location. read more
