On the other hand, Adam, who installed the one headlight for me, was great -- excellent customer service on his part. The guy who was supposed to call me and didn't (and admitted it while I stood there)? Not so much. Fortunately, because I've purchased from them several times, I know this isn't the norm. Literally like eight guys all standing behind the register counter staring at the customer. Honestly, it felt and looked more like a gang then anything else. I was told the DRL installation could be done, and at no point was I informed that the shop lacked experience with this type of work or was unsure of the proper installation process. After several hours, I was told the DRL kit was "not the correct fit." After contacting the manufacturer directly, it was confirmed that the kit is the correct and only compatible option for my vehicle and that the installation requires specialized headlight work. It became clear the shop did not know how to perform this installation, yet instead of communicating that professionally upfront, they attempted the job anyway. During the badge replacement, no photos were taken of the original OEM silver badges to ensure correct placement, spacing, or alignment before installing the aftermarket black badges. As a result, the black M60i badges were installed crooked and spaced too closely together, which is unacceptable from a professional shop. Additionally, because the front bumper was removed during the attempted DRL installation, I later noticed a paint chip on the driver-side front bumper panel near the headlight seam. This damage was not present prior to my visit. If a shop is not experienced with specialized installations, the professional course of action is to clearly communicate that and decline the job--not to proceed without proper knowledge or preparation. Between the lack of transparency, poor execution, and resulting damage, this experience fell well below an acceptable standard of professionalism.

At Mirek's suggestion, I turned the car lights on and we both looked, but could not tell which sort of light it was. I asked how difficult a replacement would be, he showed me where the access panel was on the car, explained a bit about the connections. I asked if he would do the work and he said he was not permitted to. However, I had time that same day to go home, find out what the car required and with what I'd learned from Mirek to go directly to a nearby repair shop knowing what to ask for and expect. Because this was the second one I went to and the only time the guy spoke to me is when I brought my stuff up to the desk to purchase and ask a product question. I bought some wiper blades here but when I got home to put them on, the first one didn't work. So I headed back to the store and was apprehensive because I didn't think they'd let me return the one I opened, but he returned it without issue. Apparently they usually come with different clips to fit various wipers, but this one did not come with any attachment clips. I returned all of them since I didn't want to run into any other issues. I was surprised by the cost of the wiper blades (about $35 each for the driver and passenger side, and I bought a rear blade as well) and for that I decided I'll just let the dealer install them. It's less expensive to have them do it.

I called them to explain my vehicle is now unsafe to drive after their tire rotation... even worse, we have a 6-hour drive tomorrow for a funeral service. They advised we bring it back in. Even though I'm scared to drive it. Eventually my husband had to meet me on the side of the highway to bring them the truck again! Not only did they not fix the problem, they unwound the tire rotation and kept our money. Zero accountability for anything and said because they performed the service we would not be refunded. Except they allowed me to drive an unsafe vehicle after it never had any issues prior to the arrival. It was our first visit there!!! Terrible. Both my husband and myself drove carefree before this service visit. Unbelievable to not even offer to compensate our time, our safety, or simply fix whatever we paid for originally- a tire rotation that THEY recommended, that THEY do daily. We asked to speak with the Service Director and or General Manager and nobody was available. Poor quality of service and total lack of care from the staff.

I THINK HE MUST HAVE THE ATTITUDE THAT WOMAN ARE IGNORANT AND DUMB TO THESE THINGS. Then he tells me that I'm charged a core fee because I'm not returning a battery. I said, I am returning a battery. He said, is there a battery in your car? I said no, because you just pulled it out and it's sitting right here, on the counter top! He said, exactly, so you don't have one in your car!! (I swear I'm not making this up. He then tells me I can either pay or he can put the old battery in my car. I decided to pay and deal with this issue later. He also proceeded to tell me that he really doesn't give a shit! And when I told him that I hope he has enough morals to install my battery correctly, his reply was: "That's just about the dumbest shit I've ever heard in my entire fucking life". VERBATIM I HAVE REACHED OUT TO THE CEO OF AUTOZONE, Bill Rhodes, but have yet to get a reply. At this point, I have decided to file a complaint with the IL Attorney general and see what happens.
