I brought my car in because it was making the most awful noise, second to my wife's screeching and nagging for comparison, and I dropped it off. Within 35 minutes, Doug called me to let me know everything that was wrong with my beloved chariot. He was completely honest and didn't surprise me with anything I didn't already know as I had already taken my car to another shop here in town. You know what? Doug beat that other guy's price by almost half! Hi-Way's been around for years and I can understand the 700+ 5-star reviews online. Doug is honest about the pricing, the labor involved, how soon he'd be able to get the car done, etc. and I never once felt like he or his wonderful team were trying to take advantage of me or my hard-earned dollar. Doug was also able to point out things I didn't need, unlike that the other mechanic told me I definitely had to get done, just to milk me for extra cash. Doug and to the Hi-Way Muffler team, thank you for your honesty, your professionalism, your positivity, and for top notch work! My car purrs like a kitten now all thanks to you!!! You have no idea how appreciative I am! I will send all my friends and family your way for any car issues they may have in the future because you actually care about your customers :)

Soon as I pulled out, I received a message that they were getting ready to start working on my car. The Manager made no attempt to stop me when I was leaving. I hate when companies will tell you something to get you in the door but dont deliver. I have purchased several sets of tires from them in the past, time to find a new dealer. I may not have been so bothered by this if they had not pulled 3-4 cars in that arrived after me.

Here is a link to the story: https://www.wdrb.com/news/police-see-spike-in-catalytic-converter-thefts-in-louisville-say-crime-happens-in-minutes/article_f5d1c8d0-6498-11eb-9ce6-0b879655268a.html I don't live in the area where I was employed and I had no idea who to call when I discovered this theft/vandalism. Therefore, I started looking at online reviews in order to find a reputable, local repair shop. I finally chose Louisville Automotive Shop. I took my vehicle to this establishment because of their great reviews. Throughout the process of trying to get my car repaired, I had several issues with my insurance company. They were a week late getting an adjuster to assess the damage. Then, the estimate they provided was garbage because the quote consisted of the incorrect parts and labor needed for the repair. That was just the beginning of how inefficient and time consuming this nightmare process became. Nermin is the owner of this established business. He took over this tedious process and turned out to be my saving Grace in this scenario. His first experience was when the towing company, assigned by my insurance provider, was delivered my vehicle to the wrong address. The shop was closed that day and Nermin took his day off to find the car several doors down the street. It was left in a random parking lot, unlocked, with the keys openly visible in the center console cup holder. He took the car to his shop and parked it inside the locked garage. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of a long, arduous process. The insurance company was not willing to provide the financial reimbursement needed for repairs and the whole process. I was told that this process should be approximately 3 to 4 days took 3-4 weeks. I could have never gotten my repair completed without the assistance of the owner, Nermin. He even gave me his personal cell phone number in case I needed him after the shop hours. He also called me to check in every few days to keep me notified of the "progress" regarding the repair. He fixed the vehicle within 2 days after the insurance company finally did their job. The icing on the cake was that he delivered my vehicle to my home, which is VERY FAR out of their delivery area. Nermin prides himself on being fair, ethical, friendly and knowledgeable business man. He will make sure that your repair is completed in the correct manner and that you leave a happy patron. You can't go wrong with this amazing local automotive shop!

Now I am fully aware of the Audi oil problems but when I was going to Firestone, I would never have an issue immediately after. I won't be back because it might be cheaper than Firestone but it's not worth me having to put more oil in my car after I've paid them $80 for an oil change! Don't waste your time

One of my favorite watches had been sitting in my jewelry drawer for several years because the last time I took it to a watch replacement shop to get a battery (approximately 5 years ago and I'm not kidding), I was told that since it was such a nice watch, the "battery" would be much more expensive and was quoted a price to which I declined. Today, I decided to try Batteries Plus. The manager explained that this watch had no battery, but had a sensor (or something like that) and that they were much more expensive and I'd have to take it to a jewelry store to get that replaced. He then told me that if I would start wearing the watch, it would likely start working again and that I just needed to wear it more often. He said that if wearing it didn't work, to then take it to a jewelry store, but to make sure I wore it consistently for a while. Much to my surprise, he was correct. The watch works perfectly after wearing it for one day. He was very helpful and saved me a lot of money! The staff at this store are always very competent and friendly. They have helped us out on many, many occassions.

Gary was able to get me in at 8am, and was done by 10:20. I dropped the car off, and he said he would call in about 15 minutes after he inspected what needed to be done. Brakes 4 Less Left My Pregnant Wife With a Dangerous Brake-Related Safety Issue, Then Dismissed My…read moreConcerns. I brought my wife's vehicle to Brakes 4 Less on Shelbyville Road for a routine brake pad and rotor replacement. Immediately afterward, the vehicle developed a loud clunking noise when turning right under load, a noise that NEVER existed before their service. When I returned, I was met with an incredibly rude, aggressive, and dismissive service advisor. Rather than properly diagnosing the issue, he took the vehicle for a test drive and blamed the noise on a water bottle under the seat. He remained confrontational throughout the interaction, forcing me to investigate the problem myself. I ultimately discovered an unsecured brake hose making physical contact with the lower control arm, creating a potential safety hazard. When confronted, the shop claimed the line had already been improperly coiled and zip-tied when the vehicle arrived. If that's true, why wasn't this disclosed, documented, or addressed before returning the vehicle? I understand this is an older vehicle with 190k miles, but I expect a professional brake shop to recognize and communicate safety concerns, especially when servicing the brakes. The most disturbing part is that they returned a potentially unsafe vehicle to my pregnant wife, then dismissed my concerns instead of taking responsibility and properly investigating the issue. Between the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and serious safety concerns, I have completely lost confidence in this location. I do want to acknowledge Ty, the original service advisor, who seemed genuinely concerned about the issue and much more willing to listen and work toward a resolution. His professionalism was a noticeable contrast to the dismissive and confrontational treatment I received from the other advisor.
