I visited this AutoZone after my windshield wiper snapped off while driving. Since it was raining out, obviously I was in a rush to get it handled and this AutoZone was closest to me. I went in and asked the gentleman (Jose!) at the counter for help and he quickly sprung into action, grabbing a pair of wipers that fit my car. Now, he did choose some that I wasn't willing to pay for without my bf checking on them lol. But they were probably the best for my car so I appreciated it! When I told him this, he quickly replaced them with some basic ones without any fuss or push to upsell me as some folks would. Jose agreed to put the wipers on my car with no issue. He even let me bend his ear about the possibility that my broken wiper had scratched up my window, checking on it as soon as he went out to my car. Luckily I was incorrect and he assured me that it was probably just a deep print from the moisture that would go away. He quickly replaced my wipers and gave me a cloth to wipe my windshield later if the mark wasn't gone. So appreciative of Jose's help! read more

I purchased items for my mechanic to do my brakes. At the time, I didn't know if I needed rotors and calipers. So, I purchased brake pads, rotors and calipers and made sure the items could be returned if I didn't need them. Well, I only needed the brake pads so I returned everything else-WITH RECEIPTS. When I returned the items, I received a printout that basically said I wouldn't be able to return anything to AutoZone for 180 days because I returned all of that stuff. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT AUTOZONE EVER AGAIN. It's not like I stole the ish. read more

Very rude and careless. Upon entering the store I asked an associate if they had a spittoon for camping/long road trips for my husband and I was taken back by the judgmental response that was given. "Ew. What the f*%#? No." This should not be an acceptable response to any customer and should be addressed by management immediately. I went to AutoZone, to have battery tested because it was five years old and normally batteries last only 4 years. Their Tech Gene tested my battery and said it was fully charged but it was dead. Since I'm going on a 3k miles trip, I didn't want to take a chance on it failing on the road. Gene installed a new battery and I'm feeling much better having a new battery to hit the road with I highly recommend AutoZone. read more

My rating is based on customer service and not products sold here. I came in and inquired about my battery. Service went well at this point, there was a nice young lady at the counter who was very friendly, offered to come outside and test the battery. Great. We went out and immediately this large looming character resembling what can only be described as "The next Ignatius Riley" came stumbling over asking a bunch of dumb ass questions as to whether or not she knew how to do the test. Its not rocket science, leave her alone and stop flapping around the joint aggravating your "valve" and sit the hell down. You don't work at NASA. Regardless, his ridiculous behavior was really none of my business with the exception of him nearly knocking me down in his haste to tell another co-worker how to do their job. What was my business was the customer service I received from the young kid who must hate life, auto zone, and the fact that whoever didn't put out last night so much that he took it upon himself to be horribly rude to me. I asked a simple question. "About how long does it take to install a battery?" Harmless, no? He snarls. "it depends on the make and model of the vehicle" me: " I understand, I'm just asking for a general idea. him shouting: "LIKE I SAID IT DEPENDS ON THE MAKE AND MODEL OF THE VEHICLE." Me: Look, there has to be some kind of window here...are you telling me it can go from anywhere between 4 minutes and 4 days???" Stop. Just stop. I flounced out the door. Staff knowledge: 3 Value: 3 Selection: 2 Customer Service: 1 I purchased a pair of wiper blades and one of them was missing an adapter that was needed to attach to the wiper arm. When I went back to have the issue resolved, I was told that unless I furnish them a receipt, they could do nothing to help me. I understand that there are policies in place to protect themselves, but clearly The product was in brand new condition and it was an item that they currently had in stock! Just poor customer service in my opinion. read more

This was a short quick stop. I just needed one of my headlights replaced, since I'd been riding around for two days, with my car looking as though one of its' "eyes" were closed. Down the street, at Advanced Auto, when I asked if they could replace a headlight, they informed me that they could no longer do so, as I remembered them doing for me back in '08 or so. Well, here at AutoZone, I had barely gotten the question outta my mouth before an associate was offering me the headlight and directing me to wait on another employee outside. After a couple minutes, the employee came over, stuck his skinny little arm behind the headlight, took one out, put one in, and said, "Those guys down at Advanced Auto are just a buncha little girls, that's all that means." Hahaaa!!! Well, I know where to go to now in case this happens again. Plus, that kid made my morning by saying that. Hehe =) read more

It's autozone, man. just about any one you go to is going to be the same, but that's a good thing. staff is generally very knowledgeable and friendly, and they don't make you feel like a chore for asking questions. They usually have what you need in stock or can tell you a nearby store that does, and since there are autozones everywhere (at least 7 within a 10 mile radius of my house), they make it really easy to get what you need. Sometimes I feel like they could use a little bit more staff, there's sometimes a bit of a wait to ask a question or check out, but in general I think they do a great job. read more

I was turned away this morning and told to wait an hour and a half until somebody who can actually do their job would show up (everybody in the store is supposed to be qualified to change batteries, etc..) even though there were at least 2 workers and zero business inside. My tail lights were on and would not go off! The white Gentleman ( im embarassed I don't know his name), fixed my problem temporarily with duct tape for free! The part has to be bought at a dearlership. This Man is my hero! I don't live in the area and he was an answer to a prayer from GOD. I hope he gets an increase in pay for going far beyond the call of duty. The night I was in the store was Thursday May 18th, 2017. Ask for Jean, he has superior customer service! I went in to return a core from my alternator and a belt. While doing the return I mentioned to the employee that I needed coolant. He proceeded to point me down aisle 5. That's it. Once my return transaction was completed, I proceeded to aisle 5, but Jean, who must have been listening calls out "Ma, you don't have to go way back there, there is coolant right here!" So I turn around and he proceeds to probe about the make and model of my car, and then decides against the initial recommendation, and walks me back to the coolant section, and provided me with a better recommendation for my particular vehicle. As Jean was checking me out at the register, I asked if I needed to let my car cool before putting the coolant in, and he said just a few minutes, then offered to put the coolant in for me. I had never replaced the coolant before, so I watched as he refilled it. Jean went through step by step, and even had some fun small talk about the east coast, and gave me some cool restaurant recommendations too. If I could give zero stars I would. Let's start by the used condom right by the door when you walked in. I understand that outside isn't necessarily their problem, but when that's the first thing a customer sees, you really want to turn around. It honestly wouldn't take two min to get rid of it. I needed a lightbulb for my headlight. The guy that checked me out was definitely under the influence of something. He could barely even open his eyes. Let alone speak properly. When he finally pulled up what I was looking for, it took him what seemed like forever. I asked was there any way that he could put it on for me since it was late and I couldn't see that well to drive home. He came outside and had me pop the hood while he proceeded to FaceTime one of his friends. When he realized that he needed a flashlight, he went to use his on his phone. When he seen that he had to end his call first, he looked at me and said "just unscrew those and then pop it in." And then walked away and finished his call. All the while trying to hold his pants up. The store was extremely dirty also. Not good customer service from anyone. Highly disappointed. read more
