FF nearly 20 years and when said friend found out I bought a used 2003 MCS he begged me to have WMW do their own inspection, and told me he'd pay for the inspection himself because he was so impressed. A year into ownership I discovered the passenger side control arm bushing was totally disintegrated and I finally took the plunge and drove a couple Counties south to Way Motor Works. I'm glad I did. He showed me all the different bushings that were failing on the front end and replaced them all with polyurethane bushings, fixed my boogered front passenger spring (newb tip: they are asymmetrical on Gen1 minis), replaced some seals and put a 10% supercharger pulling on for an extremely respectable price. I think he even fixed the rattling HVAC blower without telling me. I had a coworker who has raced amateur for 80% of his life to weigh in on Wayland's commentary during pickup of vehicle and as ornery as my coworker is he didn't have anything to complain about, which is saying a lot if you knew B-Rob. Anyways, so long as I've got money in the bank I look forward to the next repair or upgrade needed because I know a trusted resource to take my car and that means everything.

Called, young lady answered & got me scheduled for 2 days out as I asked and time time frame I wanted. This time around I only needed an oil change which was $63 (great price for Original BMW full synthetic oil) and the service was done in about an hour. Prior to picking my car up I did get a courtesy call letting me know of future maintenance coming up at the 60k make. Currently car has 58,808 miles on it exactly so I thought that was awesome & showed they will keep my car running to BMW's standards at all times. I will be back without question! I thank you all! PS - Feels good to go into a well organized shop with all the amenities you'd want if you chose to wait & they don't charge double for the repairs... Need I say BMW Global, $152 for an oil change... They were able to identify the issue and resolve it in a timely manner. I know for a lot of car repair shops, it often takes days maybe even sometimes weeks to do a big repair. In my case, I had a semi-intense repair needed for my engine and they were able to resolve it within 2 days. As a woman, it is important to me that I am being treated fairly and with kindness when engaging in conversations and inquiries with a car repair shop. The shop was very clean which is important to me since often times, people will choose to wait in the shop why their car is being repaired or services. As stated, they were very informative, approachable, and even showed pictures displaying the issue of my car while also providing the severity of it. It's been about 3 weeks since my repair and I haven't had any issues with it since. Definitely will be my go to car repair shop if I ever run into any issues in the future.

However, the tech could not finish the job as he had another appointment and promised to come back the next day to finish. Apparently, the next day he was outside and I was not aware; finally, I looked at my messages 30 minutes after the fact, he had left. You see, I was told their technicians are not allowed to ring doorbells and they advise when the tech is on property. I was working and not on my phone as I mentioned, so how would I know he was here. I was told I had to pay a cancellation fee of $40.00, but I had not cancelled the appointment! I did not know he was here waiting for me to acknowledge him when no one called or rang the doorbell. Lastly, because I had paid, the tech returned later in the day to put my car back the way he found it, however the new gear shifter, still not working! Unbelievable! When a mechanic is replacing a new part, is it not part of the job to make sure that part is working as it should before they can say the job is complete?
