Horrible customer service, no shopping carts or baskets. Seriously I went in to buy oil and filters for 2 cars, didn't have a basket or cart. Try juggling 2 5qt containers of oil, 3 loose qts and 2 oil filters. Stand in line waiting for the cashier to finish with a phone order. Lay all the stuff on the counter, do the transaction, pick it all up again and try to get out the door that opens in. Ridiculous, no offer to help, will watch you make multiple trips to parking lot to get merchandise to car. Done with Autozone and the rewards. read more

I'm not sure why there are so many 1 star reviews for this location. Everyone who works here has been very friendly and knowledgeable about automotive products and has helped me get the most out of my high mileage 2015 Ford Edge Titanium. With the unstable economy I have been forced to cut back to just one daily driver and can no longer afford multiple cars to drive every day. Autozones and Advanced Auto Parts stores are necessary for people like me who rely on driving only one car at a time and need expert advice on how to keep their vehicles running smoothly. Get in the Zone!! Autozone!! Fluids and Filters are the only items that I buy from this store. Just like all the other locations you're gonna find cheap auto parts that will probably fail on you in a few months give or take a few. Especially anything that wears out with time like brakes, I would recommend that you don't buy brakes here. You'll only have to replace them way sooner than you should have to. AutoZone does not supply the store with quality management and for the most part the counter help is always entry level employees. When your part fails and you return it for warranty compensation, they just pick it up to the next level until you get tired of attempting to get reimbursed. I was a customer for 15 years averaging $5000 a month in sales and they have completely turned their back on my businessnext level of management they have not paid over $4000 in warranty reimbursement. The item I found online had a different label and when I mentioned it to the cashier, he looked at me with an attitude and said "That's the right one". I repeated my statement and showed him the picture of the item from off the AutoZone web site and the bottle they had. I asked, "you can see it's a different label, right"? He rolled his eyes behaving immaturely and repeated the same remark. I wasn't looking to get another item. I found it was the item I needed because I compared the SKU#s myself. I just wanted to bring it to his attention but apparently this male cashier at this AutoZone at 1:15pm on Nov 21 didn't care enough to speak with any concern for the branch or the customer trying to bring this to his attention. This place can be hit or miss depending on whos working there. This past weekend ive been to the place twice looking for parts. The first time there was a kid who would yell at costumer entering the store when the theft alarm would go off while they entered, While i was there 3 times he yelled "hey you screwed up your suppose to steal while leaving the store not while coming in!" It got old fast and was pretty rude. Another kid while checking a part box was having trouble getting through the tape, my friend offered him is swiss army knife, one of the smalls one that fits on a keychain. The kid laughed and mocked the knife, really, someone offers you help and you laugh. Took him another 5 mins to open the box to find out it was the wrong part. I would never come back here again if it wasn't for a 3rd guy when we came back again to return something offered a lot of insight full help for what we were doing. And then told us to pick up something they would make our lives a lot easier, and it did, that his store didn't carry but a competitor down the street did. That's the kind of of service that keep people coming back honest and helpful. read more

In all the times I've been here, the staff has generally fallen into one of these categories: a) Obnoxious, arrogant, "I totally know more than you about whatever you are trying to do/talking about" b) Lazy, apathetic, "You want me to actually look something up for you?" c) Both A and B. Horrendous customer service. My husband purchased a gasket along with some other parts and realized when he got home that the gasket never made it into the bag. When he called the store to inquire about the part he was told, by the store manager, "I don't see it, we're busy" and hung up on. Absolutely rude and uncalled for. Went here today to purchase a battery and have installed, as that is a service they provide. Called ahead, yes, they have one in stock and yes they do and will install. 15 minutes later I arrive, tell them what I need and and it's over a hundred more and they CANT install that particular battery. I explained I just called and was assured of the price and the ability to install. Girl behind counter insisted I'm wrong. All righty then. Off to Dover store. Purchased and installed battery without issue. Someone at Ledgewood needs to learn people skills and her job!!! I suggest going straight to Dover and bypassing the bs. read more

This store is awful. I walked in today and politely asked for assistance locating the license plate screws I needed for my car. The first person to acknowledge me was a man who was doing stuff behind the counter who replied "I dont even work here, you have to ask one of them." Seriously? Why are customers behind the counter? I went there yesterday with the part number and everything to show to the lady up front. She typed it into the computer saying that they didn't have it. Then she began to look in the back and pulled out this big box. My boyfriend told me it was only going to cost 17.99 but when she rung it up it was 59.99. This place is ridiculous. They make mistakes left and right. They need to hire people that actually know about parts. And the old guy behind the second counter looked like he was sleeping. Worst store ever! Staff is completely incompetent. Lines are long because they don't know how to maneuver around the computer. Went in on Thursday and had to order a part they said wouldn't come til next day (Friday). Told them I'd pick it up on sat cause I would be able to pick it up Friday cause I was working. So they mailed it to my house instead which needed a signature. Being that I wasn't home to receive or sign for it I had I then had to wait for Monday (cause fedex doesn't deliver on weekends) to drive past autozone an extra 15 mins to pick up package. This is something that autozone should have known. They cause me the better part of a week and I'm done with them. By the way if your reading this and not familiar with the area there is an "Advance Auto" down the street less than 1/4 mile! read more

I work for a well respected local shop, called AutoZone to see if they had a part for customers car (luckily my own) that we could not find elsewhere (and, of course, determine if we'd be interested in doing regular business)... First, I had to call twice before anyone answered. Then when I told the girl what I was looking for (wheel spacers)she never asked me make/model etc. or the size I needed. Instead she rambled off somewhat incoherently what lug patterns she had, which the mostly only had 1 in stock?! I was at least able to ask if she had 4 (2 pairs) of my size lug before she finished rushing the conversation and hung up on me. I didn't get to ask the width, any other info, to put them aside etc. So, I drive over. When I ask the cashier for wheel spacers, he tells me "I don't carry them." I explain I just called and the woman I spoke to assured me you did, and that frankly, she didn't sound like she knew what she was doing. He then tell me that's odd because "L** is an excellent mechanic" and demands, not ask, what I want wheel spacers for? Just the look (rolls eyes)? Though it shouldn't matter (and, ethically, none of his business anyway), I explain I have oversized tires on my Wrangler (thus, I legitimately need them for functionality). Finally, he gets the woman I spoke to. Just like our phone conversation, she rushes passed me, shows me where they are and practically ran away before I could get any assistance. They have only a few pairs in a variety of lug patterns in stock, but with a width the equivalent of a piece of paper and of no use to me. In the end I wasted an hour of my life, which could have easily been avoided with proper phone etiquette. I wouldn't trust them caring for a goldfish. read more

I went in looking for RainX windshield washer fluid for my car. They were out of stock on the one that I had wanted and ended up buying another brand. As for the customer service I am kind of mixed with my feelings. One of the guys did approach me as I was walking around and asked if I needed help. When I got to the register all three guys were standing in front of the registers and it did not seem like they were super eager to ring my order. I agree with the previous obnoxious/arrogant and lazy/apathetic ranking system but would like to add ranking d which is 'complete idiot." I bought a belt to replace the serpentine belt in my girlfriend's car. They did not have the belt in stock but gave me an alternative belt. Turns out the alternative belt was not the right size which caused me to buy a belt tensioner and then ultimately new belts from the dealer while trying to diagnose my issue of squealing belts (this employee who gave me the wrong part was of the 'complete idiot' category). When I went to return the belt a different guy could not see where this belt was listed as an alternative belt to the correct one and he actually told me that he didn't believe me and that I was making up a story. Apparently I devised some sort of elaborate scam where I was trying to milk Autozone out of $20 bucks. I recommend doing your business elsewhere. Either they are lazy, arrogant (which is unbelievable in itself), incompetent, or completely rude. There are other places to choice from in the area....go there. read more

I was treated like a criminal and an idiot. I will never go to this place in my entire life. Walked in to get a few things with my family. When we went to pay we got the worst attitude. Not only that but we had to go back right away because what we got wasn't the right thing. My uncle (who does not speak English) tried his best in returning the item. He was now checkin out with this blonde lady that gave him an attitude when he tried to return. He came back to get me because they needed a phone number for the return and also because he did not understand much. I went in to give my phone number, he did not have to tell me how they treated him because her attitude said it all. she then gave the receipt to her coworker who happened to be in her same mood.
