I cam in on the 28th of April at around 6:30-45 I cam in to get a simple part and th employee that was there was standoffish, rude, and plain out disrespectful. his name is Austin He drives a jeep on the taller end about 511 6 foot maybe a little bit tallerblue eyes blonde short hair. I even asked him what his problem was. I went to a different AutoZone near the Lakewood town center they were very helpful and apparently they knew about him and how disrespectful he could be to customers and other employees. The store was very unprofessional. I brought in a tool with the receipt that I bought, and it wasn't the right tool and I had used my Apple phone to do Apple Pay and they did tap and pay and would not refund my money and we're very rude to me. read more

I came to get oil and an oil filter for an oil change. Like anyone does when you come to an auto parts store I did my normal walk around and grabbed a light bulb to replace one of my lights. When I went to check out Austin asked if that's all I need, and then asked if I wanted a air filter since it's free. My car doesn't used stock air filters so he suggested an cabin air filter. Free is free so I said why not. So he rung me up and my total was 115.28. I didn't think much of it. Went home did my oil change and looked at my receipt that I had emailed to me and noticed that they had charged me for two cabin air filters. Both being $19.99. So I called and asked what was going on and a gentleman by the name of Kevin answered and told me to come on it and they'd take care of it. When I arrived Kevin was busy with another customer so Austin helped me again, he said it was no problem and asked me to sign the card reader and they were only refunding one of the air filters they charged me for. So I asked why, and he stated that the discount go across all of the filters you buy so the oil filter and the cabin filter. The only discount on my receipt is the courtesy discount of 10%. So I told Austin I didn't want this cabin air filter since it was "free" like he had told me when I first arrived at the store. So while I went to my car to get the air filter he said "most people check their receipts before they buy something" in a snarky manner. He was very unprofessional about it and decided to walk away and have Kevin finish the job. Thank you Kevin, but if have an interaction with Austin I'm sorry hope he's not as rude and misleading. I was looking at the stop leak products that I was interested in and the gentleman from behind the counter came around and offered help. He was wearing his mask around his chin. I told him that I'm a high-risk category and asked if he would mind putting his mask on. He refused. I was trying to keep my distance from him and completely abandoned the products that I was looking at and he basically was chasing me around telling me that it's not going to kill me to be maskless. had a broken serpentine belt, came into the shop and not only got the part but the very friendly staff helped me install it too. local shops nearby were quoting me hundreds of dollars higher for the parts, plus services. the autozone employees here made sure I wouldn't have to pay that high. Came here last week because my husbands car needed a new battery. When the worker looked me up in the system I told him I had just bought the old battery we had about six months ago. He told me multiple times I didn't have a warranty on it and talked me into buying a battery with a three year warranty $$$$. I agreed since the first one died so soon. I had brought in two batteries and was told I received $18 (x2) off and it was still about $160! So, today I go to a different Autozone and they had to look up my account and they had asked me if we had two of the same cars because I had a two year warranty on the first battery!!!! Then, they told me I did not receive $18 off for bringing my battery back even though I brought two so I should have had $36 back! Do not come here, either they're dishonest or not trained well- either way you'll be out hundreds of dollars for their mistakes. SO disappointed and thinking of bringing this up higher. read more

These guys let u use their tools to change ur battery right there in their parking lot & will take ur old battery for disposal free of charge. Also run a no charge diagnostic check of ur engine should ur CHECK ENGINE light b on. Don't need 2 mention that they have everything u might need to take care of ur 4 wheels of course. Since this is not a crowded one I enjoy comin here and gettin what I need w/out any long waits. read more

These guys were a life-saver for my wife and I! On our way from Portland area to Tacoma Dome for Michael Bublè concert, our Celica's battery light came on. We stopped here and Larry helped us out. Tested our Charging System and, as I thought, found our Alternator had failed. They had one in stock, and loaned me tools to replace it right there in their lot! Cody a worker at this location was awesome. His knowledge of cars made me comfortable enough to ask him various questions I had about my own vehicle and he helped me with every single problem I had. I didn't expect him to be persistent in coming to my vehicle to help me as I am shy and don't like to be a bother. He changed my front left blinker and not just that he showed me how step by step so that I would he able to do this on my own I'm the future. Went into this store and they have horrible costumer service. I went in to get a new headlight bulb and the guy was extremely rude. I asked him to come take a look at the part and he said he would rather not if it was raining. NEWS FLASH this is Washington state it is always drizzling here. I wasn't expecting him to change it for me but just sell me the part so I can do it myself. He told me to you tube how to do it and google what parts I need to buy. I have been to pep boys that help me identify the part that I needed and were friendly about it. Oh also WITHOUT doing it for me. I just thought that people who worked at a place called auto zone would be a bit more knowledgeable on cars. Get it you don't know everything but I don't need your attitude. read more

I would just like to say that the manager by the name of Steve was awesome! I had bought a distributor with a warranty that they weren't able to look up, and he exchanged it for me despite this. I would have been up a creek without a paddle since it's an almost 300 dollar part, and most other places probably wouldn't have exchanged the part since I didn't have my receipt and they couldn't find my warranty in the system. The customer service here is atrocious. I have been disrespected here multiple times with accusations of stealing, and I was harassed for having my service dog in here. It has been the same character each time, and the other employees just watch him steamroll through the people he chooses. I recommend the one on Bridgeport any day. read more
