I shared with her that I needed a new headlight since my passenger side headlight was out. She was quick to offer her assistance and asked me a few questions to make sure she would pick the correct light(s). She did ask if I was interested in replacing both lights and I was like, sure! She is right, it makes sense to do them at the same time. She offered a few different options and I basically trusted her opinion and went with the lights she selected. After paying, she was even kind enough to help install the lights for me! THANK YOU! Miranda was sharing lots of fun stories with me and was very fun to talk with. She made the experience more enjoyable than I ever thought it would be to visit an auto parts store; thanks! I will definitely keep this location in mind whenever I need additional auto parts. The customer service was great and now I have 2 new and bright headlights!

The battery from the back along with this cart of tools came out and very promptly change the battery, and make sure everything was OK afterwards great product great service great price very thankful

On…read moreWednesday August 28, 2025 around 1:20pm I stopped by the shop with the intention of getting my alternator and battery checked out as my car was hesitating to start and running on "energy save mode". Since I had replaced my battery 2 years ago (also auto zone but this was in Oklahoma) I was prepared to get bad news that it was the alternator. When I walked in the store I was greeted by a female who was so kind, hard at work and had time to pay me a compliment and we laughed after I asked her "what aisle is your lipgloss or make up on?" About 10 seconds after interacting with her a technician named Jason appeared and we discussed my problem. I followed Jason out to my car to pop my hood. We discussed my last battery purchase and some history on my Lincoln mkx. After about 20 seconds he said "good news, it's not your alternator, it's your battery. Let's go inside and I'll look up your warranty". We did just that and really, I had no idea there was a warranty and I'm still operating under the assumption that this is going to be a cost to me which is not an issue. However, I was delighted that the whole thing was covered no fee! I know that's standard but I'm a newly single woman so this is a very welcome surprise! He told me to hang out in the shop and he'd have my battery installed within the next few minutes. It was at that time around 1:30 and the shop had started to get a bit busy and I watched more employees come out to take care of their customers and all with welcoming friendly helpful attitudes. I shopped around and got some air fresheners, a car trash can and some hooks for bags. At that time Jason comes back in, lets me know he's done and we go out to start my Lincoln that started right up and purred like a kitten. I was really impressed by this crew and felt like writing this review as I know many times retail employees and auto care centers are prone to the worst of the worst. I can't say enough positive things about this location and even though there are 2-3 other Auto Zones within 3-5 miles of me, I will specifically be frequenting this one for my auto needs. While I was looking, the person behind the counter was talking to his delivery driver. A comment was made about driving on Geyer Rd through Kirkwood. The delivery driver said that there were too many bicycles on that road. The counter man said, "S**T, just hit the bikers." I dropped my purchase on the floor and left the store. That type of disregard for those of us who cycle is an arrogant disregard for our safety. Lost me as a customer forever!

My profession requires zero manual labor and I'm always inside so it was kind of a nice break to unwind and do something that requires a little torque wrenching and sweating. I know, doing car maintenance isn't probably the first thing that pops into ones head when looking for a new hobby, but hey, I like it. So, it was time to replace my drive belt (aka serpentine belt) and after looking at some DIY's on the web I figured I could do it myself. I called up Advanced Auto Parts and checked if they had the belt. Affirmative. I also inquired about the tensioner tool (helps get belt off) and if they had a loner. Affirmative. So, I drive over to pick both up and employee Robert M had them handy after I called. One minute later I'm out the store and on the way to change my drive belt. The job goes fine and I have the new belt on and properly installed in maybe 20 minutes. I return the tensioner tool to the store. Friendly employee Charice C quickly processed the tool return and I'm good to go. Aside from liking to do my own car maintenance as a hobby, the cool side benefit is the cost and time savings. I did this maintenance in less hassle than it would've been for me to drop my car off at a shop, be without my car for the day and pick it up later. I've seen the cost for this as high as $185 at the dealer. The well regarded belt I bought was $31 + tax and the tool lone was free! Awesome. Thanks Advanced Auto Parts of Crestwood!

Months later -- and by pure chance -- I discovered it was never actually registered as CPO with Audi of America. I was sold this vehicle under false and misleading pretenses. My initial calls to the dealership were ignored. After persistent follow-up, they eventually acknowledged the mistake and promised to fix it and provide documentation. To this day, that documentation has not been provided, and my most recent email has gone unanswered. Instead of being proactive, the burden has fallen entirely on me to get answers. No apologies, no nothing. For a vehicle of this value, this is completely unacceptable. This is a clear case of misrepresentation, and I am now considering formal complaints with Audi of America, the Missouri Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, and other consumer protection and media outlets. If you're thinking of buying from Audi Kirkwood -- be extremely cautious. Promises made at the time of sale may mean nothing once the deal is done.

My experience at Audi Kirkwood was terrible at all levels, other than getting me to walk through…read moretheir door. The internet put me in contact with a salesperson who informed me that all inventory of the model I was considering had been marked down to invoice pricing. My salesperson made sure I knew he was highly sought after and that his time was limited, as he was also working with another customer that day. I got to test-drive only one new car for roughly 30 minutes, which left me uncertain, and I told him so. I did tell him we could look at the numbers. After that, my unease grew as I felt I wasn't getting a fair offer on my trade. It was 2k less than other dealers had offered. They firmly told me, "we will lose $1,000 by taking your trade." At that point, I stated I would rather keep my trade and receive the $1,000 discount, so they would not lose that money. They promptly declined that offer. To make the trade point even clearer, they were only offering me $2,000 in trade for my Range Rover. Somewhere around this timeframe, a comment was made about "already spending 8 hours with me," and later, "that only $200 in commission would be made on the deal." The salesperson had already arranged for a car to be prepared for me to purchase before I had even agreed on the price or decided to buy one. I started to feel pressured and guilted into making a decision. As a stereotypical woman alone, I caved and agreed. During the rest of the buying process, the advertised "dealer discount" was used to tout why I was getting such a great deal, and why their hands were tied at the advertised price. I became so aggravated during this part of the process that I was about to leave the dealership when they offered me the option to return and get my trade back for the $2,000 by the end of the week. The next day, after arriving home with the new car, I let them know I was coming back to pick up my trade. I did end up doing so. Getting the trade back ended up being such a cluster that it would take paragraphs, and I will refrain, since "they were doing me such a favor." All I can say is this whole negative experience ensured I will never return to this dealership, not even for service. I am likely to resell or trade the car at a loss to get the memory it holds out of my sight. Also, if you buy from this dealership, be aware that you will be handed an arbitration agreement when signing the paperwork, as if it is a required standard document. It prevents them from being sued, even if a faulty car kills you. I was not even aware I had one until reviewing my paperwork at home. The salesperson emphasized the importance of positive reviews for him from the moment we were on the test drive. I felt pressured into proving one of those as well, and if you've read this far, you can tell I chose to share my experience instead.
