Pleasant guy and helpful. When I made it further into the store I saw him on a ladder behind the counter talking on the phone, while two other employees were behind the counter. One had a parka on as he was doing some sort of repair outside and the older guy who was behind the counter as well and clearly in AutoZone attire. As I had my item for purchase in hand, I watched the older male come from behind the counter walking towards me and looked right at me and proceeded to an area around the corner from checkout milling around, doing a whole lot of not about much. I stood at the register for several minutes looking around wondering what does it take. After a few minutes the guy on the later looked at me and raised a finger as to suggest 'just a minute' as he was still on the phone. I was so done at this point my mind was like leave it on the counter and walk out, and also thinking if I walked out with the item I bet I'd get more attention than I wanted, and telling officials I thought the light bulbs were free since nobody wanted to cash me out. When the guy in the parka came back in, he walked behind the counter and I asked if he was an employee and he said he was. I asked if the older guy over beyond the checkout counter was an employee and he said he was. I asked if he was allowed to run the checkout and he said he was. I asked why didn't he check me out? I said he walked out from the counter and looked right at me and proceeded to where he is now. The guy said he didn't know why he did that but maybe he had to use the bathroom. I retorted with "unless he's using the bathroom right there on the floor, then what you're saying is BS! I was really ticked off today the least. The parka guy even went over to him and asked if he saw me and I heard him say in fact that he did see. At this point the guy on the ladder came down, still on phone and apologized for the incident and checked me.

Searching through vehicles available at O'Brien Toyota, which was a preferred dealership, I was able to find a Lexus NX 200t. I called ahead because I wanted to make sure that I understood the process once I actually went into the dealership and I spoke to Chris Larson. We set a time for Saturday for me to go in and take a look at the vehicle, test drive it and then also decide if I wanted to proceed with the purchase. Initially I wanted to change the day to Friday but Chris was off and offered to come in on his day off but I told him that wasn't necessary and we did move it to an earlier time on Saturday. When I arrived, the sales guys let Chris know I was there and he had pulled the car out front so once we did the initial stuff, we took the car out for a spin. I did notice a few things like some gunk on part of the dash (that they cleaned off) and there is some kind of residue on the display that they weren't able to get off that I have to address. As with any dealership, they told me they'd send my info to other financers to compete and hopefully give me a better rate. They did get me a slightly better rate through Toyota Financing so I went with that lender. The next step was the financing and for the most part this was ok though I found the process to be more stressful than anything. There were optional coverages that were presented to me and the finance guy, Kyle I think his name is, made it a point to mention that tires were expensive (duh) and that I could cancel if I later decided I didn't want the coverage. Only issue is canceling the coverage doesn't reduce your payment but it gets taken off at the end of the loan. Once the finance stuff was done, I was congratulated for getting into debt and not for my new car which I felt that was a weird thing to say. Also the finance guy needs to keep tissues in his office because he had sneezed a couple of times in his hands then used hand sanitizer to clean them which is wildly unsanitary. Overall, it was an ok experience. One thing that I'm now having to figure out which didn't come up while I was at the dealership is that the Bluetooth in the car doesn't seem to work and there's a chip in the windshield that I didn't see and wasn't pointed out when I was there. It's my own fault, I guess, for not doing a thorough enough inspection. Thanks to Chris for taking good care of me and being so nice and making this big purchase a pleasant experience. I'd have rated higher if some things had been tweaked and if they had taken sone time to clean out the glove conoartmentnof the previous owners documents. Next time I'm in the market for a vehicle, I might consider this dealership again.

He actually cares and it shows. I'm also in hospitality and in the service industry the little things that cost you NOTHING means much more. I still remember the nice personal notecard he left in my car that was handwritten thanking me with a piece of candy taped to it. The fact he took a minute to do a handwritten notecard means he put thought into it and appreciated me. This means so much to me. Yes it sometimes takes a long time for my car to get serviced but you can Uber to a nearby restaurant or just stay in the lobby and spread out to get some work done or watch tv. And ... if you are lucky there may be some fresh baked chocolate chip or snickerdoodle cookies complimentary to indulge in!

The store has nothing to do with the ordering on line. Call day before you need the items and have them order it and have it waiting for you when it arrives. And it was gonna cost $4200 for them to do the head gaskets. At that's them with not replacing a cylinder head. Each cylinder head was $2000 from ford. And I have a baby on the way in four months. And I told him I could not do that and I have to give up my truck, The owner personally bought me a new engine with 40,000 miles less, and put it in my truck for free, I would I have to pay them a penny. And they said if I wanted to put parts on it why they had the motor out, that they would just charge me for the parts and no labor. Just the job of buying that motor and putting it in was easily $7000. But the owner was willing to do that for me. I did not have any reason to. I've never even met the guy. Because of him I'm going to be able to keep my truck, I have something safe for my baby to be in while I'm driving around. So I recommend anyone who is looking for a vehicle, to just stop by and talk to someone, they are willing to work with you, A lot of a lot of people don't understand is if you just have respect for people, they're willing to help you. I received my inspection report stating the battery was low on the other two tire sensors. I did not approve to replace these sensors at this time, only the ones that were already bad. I received a call stating the fronts were now showing as bad and needed replaced. the fronts were the ones I knew were bad which my original estimate shows. After back and forth with the tech, clerk, and manager of me stating I was not paying for a service I did not approve or need at that time and still wanted the ones I already agreed to pay to have done, I end up paying for both (more for each than the original estimate which I didn't even bother arguing over). terrible customer service. Even after proving I was right, I not only paid for service I did not approve And paid more for what I agreed to, the delayed work due the confusion left me without a vehicle for an unexpected day and had to rearrange work schedules and getting kids to school.

Ultimately, the process of buying a car is just not fun. It takes a long time, there's a lot of waiting, and heavy decisions to be made. But they make it as smooth and painless as possible. While they could easily take advantage of a girl who doesn't know what she wants, I feel like they look out for me and genuinely try to get the best deal. Last time, one of the salespeople gave me advice that saved me probably $100/month on my car payment. When I'm ready to buy a new car, this will undoubtedly be the only stop I make. The service department treats my car like a baby. They always keep me informed, prices are reasonable, and they are knowledgeable and efficient. I've had particularly great service from Brandon. Like I said--getting your car serviced is not fun, but they keep the waiting area clean and well stocked with complimentary coffee, water, and snacks.
