I just switched out a battery for a Toyota Corolla but in going from A to B I had car problems and was fortunate enough to be close to this location. It's been years since I visited an Autozone but they had batteries in stock and Carlos was the person who helped me. I ended up with a low-mid level Duralast battery which was fine, but this is a car that was just given to me and I needed a quick change, I was totally unprepared and left stranded so I appreciate his willingness to help. My last experience another location there was an employee who actually assisted me in changing the battery which was very professional and saved me the time. When I asked if he could help me put it on Carlos was more than willing to help, but the manager on duty or supervisor said no. There were three people there at the front and the wasn't a line. His reason for saying no? Not because they don't do this I found out, but that he left to go on break right after he told him not to do it. He said to offer him a tool. How unprofessional. If you have the staff and this is something they offer to help the customer by all means let your employee assist. There are many people who have disabilities that aren't shown and some people, regardless of age have never changed a battery or tire, and you don't know what kind of situation they could be in and remember why they chose your store to begin with. Carlos helped me check the old and new battery and he assisted me in getting a refund for the core, which I am grateful for. If he sticks around my advice is don't be like your boss, you want people to know that you are there to help and that you are empathetic to their needs. It's not just another profit making business. The item was purchased at another AutoZone location, but they had given me the wrong part number. Per AutoZone policy, exchanges can be made at any store, yet Gabriel refused and started yelling at me, claiming that returns cost his store money. My car was stuck at a restaurant 3 blocks away from this autozone. My battery was completely dead and passed its limit. Employee Jose Anaya was so nice and was willing to walk three blocks to my car to check the battery and even gave me a restart. Don't believe commercials that AutoZone installs your battery because I just removed the core and installed my battery. Grey shirt did not seem any way enthusiastic about helping with battery installation! When I asked the manager if he could assist me in removing the core, he discovered that wrench 11 fit my battery tie down; he proceeded to give me the tools to complete the job myself. The guy helping me out didn't seem to listen to what I was saying and kinda pissed me off so before I lost my temper I just left. Also one of the drivers from that store (skinny guy small build, brown skin, hair long at the top faded on the sides) learn to drive Dumbass, if you're in a company vehicle and you see a one person stop, one backing up, why wouldn't you stop.. wait you didn't see me because you were too busy on your phone. This store has a great Manager by the name of Leo. Leo was amazing, he had our stressful situation under control. My husband was very agitated and Leo remained calm and went above and beyond to make my husband happy. His level of service was ethical and genuine. Leo provided us with the right battery and chatted with my husband like if he they were old friends. At the end it was all laughters and a fond experience of what a true Manager is. Came to this autozone to recycle used oil and I wanted to applaud Jonathan (red shirt) for great customer service. I had my year old daughter with me and I could not carry the container and her together. He went out of his way to take the container for me into recycle the used oil and bring back the container cleaned and wiped without me having to get my daughter out of her car seat. At first I thought this new auto parts store was going to be an Oreilly auto parts; oh how disappointed I was when I saw the Autozone sign. Even though Autozone is not my favorite auto parts store I decided to give it a shot. How disappointed I was. The employees here are couch potatoes, they don't know squat about auto parts. I have not gotten good service at autozone before. I only go when I have to.my girlfriend and I needed new brakes. She had a lifetime warranty on her back brakes. We had trouble finding it because we could not remember the phone number that it was under. Victor, one of the workers there actually spent a good amount of time trying to help us out. I appreciated it a lot considering how busy the store was. Eventually we found the warranty and we bought brakes for me and two new ones to replace her front brakes. Ask for victor if you need help. A family member visited this autozone to get some parts, but ended up misplacing a debit card in the process. I called up this Autozone and spoke with the manager about the issue. The manager just said that if the cards turns up protocol is to call up the bank and cancel it. I told her the card has the family member's picture on it, so identity could be verified and the card could be picked up. Manager said No and that protocol would be followed regardless. All in all made me feel like the customer service here is very poor. Will not do business here again. read more
