Just got home and the brakes are like new. I am convinced these folks are the best most honest folks in the business. If you are in the general vicinity, you will want to know of the most honest family business you can work with. Kudos to them.

He helped us negotiate a good deal on our new used car and get a fair deal for our trade in. I wish the sales manager would have come out and introduced himself and worked with Alan and us to save some back and forth time. While they could easily take advantage of a girl who doesn't know what she wants, I feel like they look out for me and genuinely try to get the best deal. Last time, one of the salespeople gave me advice that saved me probably $100/month on my car payment. When I'm ready to buy a new car, this will undoubtedly be the only stop I make. The service department treats my car like a baby. They always keep me informed, prices are reasonable, and they are knowledgeable and efficient. I've had particularly great service from Brandon. Like I said--getting your car serviced is not fun, but they keep the waiting area clean and well stocked with complimentary coffee, water, and snacks. I was going through mechanic recommendations and none were working out for to - to the point that I would still drive an hour down to southern Indiana to have my old mechanic service and check my car. I finally had some issues that didn't make sense for me to travel that far, and when I took it to Makeshift, they were upfront with what they saw and their recommendations. Not only did they explain their limitations for that particular issue, they did their best to help me get it where it needed to go. Having an older car, my car has had a few more issues since then and today. They have fixed me up nicely and quickly and always had the patience to explain everything to me which has filled out my auto knowledge. They guys here have always been very upfront with me and I would say every time, my car is returned better, so I'll be staying with them for a while!
