Had a crazy experience at my dealership where they told me I needed a $400 new battery despite having no issues and they did not give me any reasoning. I declined and took my car here to have them check the battery. I don't know his name but a tall, younger guy pleasantly came out (I think he was some sort of manager/supervisor) and checked not only my battery but also all of the other things he could do with his little machine. He happily told me "there is literally nothing wrong with your battery"! And I was on my way. No charge. I came here another time for windshield wipers and they went out and replaced them for me without my even asking! read more

My husband took my car in for a new battery. The guys at Autozone tested it and sure enough it was dead. After installing the new battery my car wouldn't start. After some trial and errors they determined that my starter was dead too. My husband bought a starter and the guys took the time to install the starter. They were extremely patient and saved us quite a bit of money by installing it for free. Had we taken my car to a mechanic it would have been a few hundred dollars more. My car is now up and running! Very helpful, kind staff! I visited Autozone to purchase a new headlight this past week. I was about to purchase a headlight thinking I knew what I needed - I was sure wrong. A staff member helped me to determine exactly which bulb I needed. I naively took the bulb home to try and change the headlight myself (disclaimer: I have not changed a headlight on this car before), soon realizing I did not have the equipment to change this bulb. I headed back to Autozone to ask for any assistance- and the same gentleman who sold me the bulb remembered me and replaced my bulb for me! I was very appreciative and I will absolutely be coming back for any further necessities for my car. read more

Ken is one of the nicest men I have ever met. I needed help with something that I know is probably very simple, but he was kind and patient and showed me how so I would know how in the future. He also explained a few other things that a woman who knows nothing about cars should know in case I need to jump my car or need a new battery. I actually just left in tears from his pure kindness! As a woman, it is hard to walk into a car place and admit you need help for fear of being judged of taken advantage of, but Ken was awesome! read more

Horrible!!! The Supervisor came over after we were being helped and interjected in our conversation in a rude and unprofessional manner. He was very rude when he corrected his staff which stated we could purchase a battery just as a back up and if unused we could return it. Supervisor rudly stated," I'm the Supervisor and I say No, he was wrong!!" Then we asked if we could test our connections for the cpap machine (we were going camping the following day) using a battery from the shelf. The Supervisor initially said No!! My response was,"really, it's not going to hurt the battery." Then his response was,"FINE." Very very very rude man. Auto Zone is sopose to be more friendly than that. This is the first Auto Zone store I have ever been to in which I was treated so horribly. I will NEVER return here. O'Reilly here I come!!! read more

Wow! I brought my dead battery in from my 2011 Honda Ridgeline. They checked it and said that it would take a charge, but I might still want to replace it since it was the original, now 9 year-old battery. I bought a new battery and asked it they would check the battery in my wife's 2011 Nissan Juke which I had driven there. They did, told me it was low but would take a charge, but it was an Autozone battery and they wanted to look it up. They found that it was one month from the end of the warranty period, so replaced it for free. I was amazed. read more

Not only is he knowledgeable, but he truly cares about what the problem is and does his best to solve it (and give you a good price). Great place to stop in for the random car maintenance. They accept used oil if you are handy enough to change the oil in your car, and provide free diagnostic readings of the dreaded check engine light happens to appear on your dashboard. The employees are kind and always helpful. read more

The staff here is super helpful and kind. While changing the battery in my Civic, they noticed that the plug to my transmission fluid was off. The car had previously only been touched by a reputable dealership in Fishers where it was purchased, so this discovery was shocking and irritating, to say the least. The gentleman from Autozone cleaned and reinstalled the plug. I am very thankful that he noticed and took care of this issue for me! read more

I had such a great experience here. I placed an online order for a new blower motor after mine stopped suddenly a few days ago. It was waiting for me behind the counter when I got there. I tried installing it in the parking lot, but it wasn't working. Taylor Schaeffer was a tremendous help - he checked the motor using a battery in the store and let me borrow a voltimeter to check that voltage was getting to the motor. Eventually, the motor was working well and I headed home. The next night, it stopped working again. I went back to Autozone and was helped by Richard Wright. He recommended I try changing out the resistor for the motor. He even opened a new resistor and let me try it to see if it fixed the issue before making me pay for it. I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received here. They saved me a lot of money, time, and inconvenience. Thanks! read more
