This Autozone is definitely one of the best in the area. They are a hub location meaning they have LOTS of parts in stock and supply the smaller stores nearby. They are no longer 24 hours, but are open 6am-12am which is more than enough. They have saved me more than once when I was in a jam late at night trying to finish up a repair. Lines can sometimes be long, but if you are just getting things off the shelf and paying by card, they have a self checkout (register near the door) which is very convenient. If you're there for parts, always double check what you are getting as the employees have varying levels of automotive knowledge and I've had the wrong parts searched and retrieved more than once. Lastly,expect pricing to be higher than online retailers, but know that most parts come with a warranty and if you need something on the spot, they most likely have it for you. read more

Placed an order online for a brake light bulb hoping for a quick pick-up after work. It ended up taking 10-minutes once I got there for them to get it and get me out of there. I could have easily walked in and grabbed the item and paid for it quicker than that process. Avoid "Zia" one of the employees there, he will give you a terrible attitude, talks trash in front of customers, seems like he hates life, doesn't care about helping you out So today I came in to drop off some oil that's been sitting around and needed disposed of, I asked "Zia" one the employees there if they would take it and he hesitated to say yes and asked me how many bottles I had, I told him around 7(a rough estimate but pretty close) I asked him if I could use the cart they had by the door and he proceeded to ignore me and pretend like he didn't hear me, he proceeded to answer the phone and act like I wasn't there so I went outside and made two trips carrying the oil inside with no help at all not even to open the door, I set them on the counter and when I finally brought them in he looks at me and he says "sir you didn't tell me it was this much" even though I just told him it was around 7 bottles, he then tells be to pick them up and bring them all to the back(still not willing to help me) and at this point In my head I'm like this is ridiculous so I tell him "are you going to help me?!" And he reluctantly grabbed 3 bottles and brought them to the back with me, then he says "go get the other ones" so I went and got them and brought them back and he starts talking trash about the situation to another employee like as if I wasn't there(I ignored it) so I ask him if I'm good to go or he needs anything else and he ignores me then I ask again and he says "you're good!" So I start walking away and turn to look at him in disapproval and he says "you're good!!!!" And at that point I got tired of this guy "Zia" and just told him to stop being lazy. I began walking out and he comes walking after me becoming confrontational and said "what did you say" and I reaffirmed him that he's lazy and told him how beyond rude he was being and how whenever I come he always always always gives me problems, at this point we're arguing and I tell him "idk why you have such a big problem helping" and he says he didn't know I had that many bottles and he starts lying saying I told him I had 5 small bottles of oil and this just goes to show he either doesn't care about what the customer tells him or he's a liar(I specifically told him around 7) someone like his should not be working there, if you don't like your job or people why are you there?! And for the the record all the oil I had was bought there, I go there for everything but one bad experience like this will lose a customer for life, autozone needs to train their employees better of fire the ones who don't want to be there Bc I've been a loyal customer since they've opened this location, its ridiculous that I'm sitting out here wasting me time in the parking lot writing this review but I can't stand the fact that people like "Zia" have jobs with customer service and think they can treat them however they want, I could keep going on about how bad their service is because this is not the first encounter with "Zia" read more

Had a really unusual experience here recently, had to replace a headlight bulb, came in and initially got the wrong size (I have custom headlights and got the stock size at first). I live close by, so I was back in roughly 15 mins, having discovered my mistake. Upon entering, a female employee greeted me and asked if I needed help, I told her I was here to exchange a bulb that I just purchased (never even opened the package) and she proceeded to tell me, that what I was looking for couldn't be a headlight bulb and that I was wrong. I knew I wasn't, but okay...I'll just grab it, no need to argue haha she then asked to see what I brought in for reference (the burned out bulb) and told me it wasn't Sylvania, it was a "knockoff". I told her that it wasn't, the name on the bulb must be who manufactures it for them and she reiterated that I was WRONG AGAIN. I picked up 3 Sylvania Silverstar bulbs and they ALL had the same name written in them. She told me "there must be a problem at the factory"?! It was as if she had something to prove from the second I walked in the door, wanted to prove she knew more than me or whatever, but failed miserably on both accounts. Zero need for any of that or the attitude that came along w it.....Maybe guys come in and act like jerks bc she's a woman, but that was not what I did, nor would I ever do that to anyone at all. My car battery died in the middle of the night, and autozone came to the rescue! Rather then dropping the car off at the mechanic, and waiting for hours on end, they were able to help me get a battery, and install it for me. read more

This is a nice large auto store in East Brunswick. Has pretty much anything you need to fix your vehicle. Some stuff is more pricier than others but it's definitely worth the price. The store needs a little bit more training with picking up the phone. The phone rang a bunch of times inside, and no one picked it up. The staff should be able to multitask. They sell multiple parts of all the items, so I doubt the place gets sold out of a certain item. read more

Very good parts store. Always has a lot in stock and open 24/7. Very good rewards program. Good deals on oil and fluids etc. The only down side is at certain hours you go into store line gets long and there is almost 20 minutes of standing in line. The fact that only one employee is at the register at most times. Something that needs to be fixed by management during busy store hours. read more

Went to the store and was told "we're not open for shopping, just tell us what you want and we'll get it". Obviously this makes it impossible / very cumbersome to compare prices or anything else that a customer would reasonably want to do. And they were very rude. Unacceptable, especially given that I've bought 100s of dollars of stuff just from this location alone. read more
