Went with my wife bc it seemed her battery was running low. I got Carl D. From this auto zone to check her battery. It turns out the battery was at its end of life. We purchased a new battery and Carl D was supper helpfull and patient as it was over 90 degrees and the cars battery location was not in the most convenient place and he never complained. If anything his attitude made us feel well taken care of. We need more Carl D workers in this world. read more

Auto Parts Call it 2.5 stars Need to do some minor maintenance or are you a grease monkey? Autozone should be able to help you either way. Located on Hypoluxo, this location just seems depressing - I will attribute it to the lighting which is just too yellow or something. I don't know what it is for sure but it just seems like you walked into another parallel. In any case, you are here for auto parts and not quantum physics, so find the items you need either in the self-service are which has the more common stuff: oil, windshield wipers, anti-freeze and the like or, if you need to get to something more involved, hit up the guy behind the counter. The guys there are hit or miss to be honest. Older fellow works, but slowly. Younger guy tends to just sit there on his phone and ignore you. Typically they have what I am looking for and I just pay and leave- there really is no hospitality here so it is, more or less, a completely silent experience. Parking lot available. read more

Went to Autozone to get some windshield wipers since it was about time to change them. I never thought that an auto store can be so busy. I didn't know what was best for my car. It took about 20 mins in line to get help, they were that busy. I needed help installing them so I waited another 20 mins to get some help. A different guy helped install my wipers, he was very quick and was very nice. It's decent customer service, I just wish there would have been more help, it was a Monday which is crazy to me hahaha. read more

It seems like a loooong time since I have encountered remarkable customer service... but a trip to the Hypoluxo Rd Auto Zone provided just that today. My car battery has been struggling to start my car and so I stopped by to have the battery checked and to purchase a new battery, if necessary. A gentleman name 'Angel' cheerfully checked the battery and found it to be substandard. Even though the battery was only about a year old, I was willing (and expecting) to pay full price for a replacement battery since I had jump started that battery scores of times due to a 'parasitic battery drain' that I just recently resolved. Not only did they honor the warranty, Angel actually installed the new battery for me right there on the spot. Not begrudgingly, but with a professional and upbeat attitude. This autozone is close to my house so when I have car issues I'm always here . The sales associate Laura for the last few times I have been there has helped me alot . She is very informative and helpful . One day I needed all kinds of stuff for my vehicle and was in and out a bunch of times and she processed all transactions, helped me find what I needed a d even processed an exchange for wrong parts I had gotten . Disgraceful customer service. Horrible attitude. If I own the score the manager and three workers be fired. When a customer requests help and the worker does not what they're doing they should be fired I have been shopping at AutoZone recently when I get my car detailed but I will never again shop in their store!!! Went back to see if they could redeem themselves!!!! AGAIN! I bought a socket and fuel stabilizer today 1/16/2018 and realized when I got home I grabbed the 1/2" drive by mistake. I returned within two hours with the socket that I had broke the plastic hang portion of the case, they refused to switch it for the right one until I threatened to call Chase and contest the charge then they agreed. I just read an earlier review that capsulized exactly why I have a problem with this place. I don't need a grandpa, dad, or annoying brother with "happy talk" to check me out. I need someone who can politely get me out of their in less than 15 minutes with only one guy in line in front of me. One check-out person, two customers, and I had to wait while some old codger rambled on at the check out with an employee only too happy to listen while he rambled on about his life. Now, please keep in mind that I'm an old man too, but even old folks need to get on with their lives at some point. It's good to be polite but it's not necessary to allow customers to practice their language skills with checkout personnel while other customers are waiting ever so patiently behind them. Good God.....it's a great place to buy stuff for your car but you better bring a folding chair to the check out line. read more

It seems that every time that I come into this store for just something simple like a wiper blade they do not have what I am looking for. I have tried on 6 separate events to just pop in and get an item but each time no luck. The staff is no help and is easily distracted. This Autozone has the worst customer service. I bought a car battery here and it was bad less then 3 weeks later. I was out of town when it went bad so I went to a car dealership to have my car checked. They told me the battery was bad and replaced it. I brought the bad battery back the this store where I got it. They would not give me a refund they would only replace the battery. I told them it was replaced at the deal. They would only offer me a new battery. I will never go to a Autozone again. When you go to this store you also need to stay line line for a long time why one person takes car of the customers and the other employees play on their phone and eat at the counter. read more

Good luck getting some one to help you! There were 4 people in the store, one in the commercial customers area on the computer, one walking in the back of the store, and 2 at the cash areas. We asked the man walking around a question on where to find something and he told us to go to the front. After waiting 15mins we were finally helped. We heard the people in the area ask if anyone knew where the guy helping them went. They said he went to look for something and has yet to come back. The lady at the commercial computer never left that area to help anyone, the line was 7 people long. read more

Described an issue with my GMC Acadia headlight and the unique screw heads holding the plastic in place around the wheel well, expecting to be shown the tool needed to remove the screws. On his own initiative, he proceeded to the parking lot and show me how it was done to the point where I was able to replace the headlight bulb myself. Horrible customer service. Came in to buy a few things. Immediately noticed 4-5 employees in the far corner of the store just chit-chatting it up. They all looked at me, yet made no attempts to get up and assist me or even greet me nor they could care if I were there or not. Lord, knows I would have been a huge inconvenience from them to ask for help.... I walk to the counter to pay, they all look directly at me, and say not a damn word..... I say excuse me, ummmm does someone want to get up and take my money? A lady slowly gets up and rings me out. No thank you, nor come again. This job must be just a social 8hours for them, because no one was doing anything productive in this location. But for a parts salesperson I can't expect too much. read more

I can't complain about the service here. It's not the best I have ever seen, but I have never had a bad experience. I've been here 5-10 times in the past few years and every time I asked for something everyone has been helpful and once even tried to price match an item.
