Went there to buy a diagnostic tester for cars. I thought they were overpriced and man, was I correct. We wanted an Innova 5512 which they didn't have but tried to sell us a tester that only did older cars for $300. Did not realize this until I went to another AutoZone store, but the manager of this store is more worried about her store numbers than helping a customer. She informed me in front of her staff that the items I was trying to return because they were defective, I wasn't allowed to but I could drive to another store and get a swap there. Once arriving at another store that employee informed me that actually, I can make a full woman only wanted to protect her store numbers and wouldn't help me with a basic return. So if you're looking for a parts store worried about themselves more than you this is the store for you. So my experience at this store was I got cheap defective parts and a store manager that wouldn't help me. read more

The short answer- staff was unhelpful, felt a bit dismissive of me and my questions because I was female or they do that to everyone and have extremely bad customer service always. The long one - I went in. Walked to the department I needed. Found something that I thought might work. Waited for the male behind the counter to finish with his previous customer. There were not many in the store. And I said I have a question. "My side mirror broke on my car. Can you help me select the right one and help me figure out if I need to replace the whole assembly or just the mirror. I was told that I probably can just replace the mirror. And I nodded since I knew that already. I waited. After a few moments he said this computer is for ordering if you're ready you'll have to go over there and he gestured to the counter a few feet away. I went back to the mirrors. Put the one I had questions about back. Looked over them. Spent 10 minutes in the store googling to see if I could find where I could buy the mirror I needed. Since I haven't done this particular type of repair on my car before. Found it at a competitor. And now, even though this place is out of my way by almost 30 minutes I'm going there and ordering from there because of the way I was treated here. I am female. I'm always apprehensive about this type of behavior or buying things from auto stores because of the stigma of 'females don't know anything about this' clearly that is the tradition with this company as well. It doesn't matter if I walked in covered in axel grease and oil or in the dress I was wearing. You've made me put this store and company on my 'only if I have no other option' list. read more

Came in to replace my high beam headlight guy ended up taking out my low beam headlight as well as random screws while taking him about 30 minutes to do it kept asking me for help when it was an easy task ended up taking all the screws to kwik kar where the had to put all them back in and then I asked them to fix my head light and the guy from here gave me the wrong ones over all a maybe 20 minute task to about an hour and a half. read more

This Autozone has a super representative in the gal who works there - her name starts with "K" (Kamron? I'm so sorry I can't remember!) and she has helped me on two occasions- first, switching out my wiper blades in a flash, and tonight switching out the headlight bulb on my car. What would have taken me an hour to do took her about 2 minutes. The folks in this store are always courteous and helpful, and I can always find what I need. read more

This location used to be very reliable and had people who were knowledgeable and wanted to help you. That's changed entirely... They are not interested in customer service at all and act like they're put out if you ask for any help. Don't even try to do any of the rebate programs... Half of them don't match up and they're impossible to implement. It's really sad that the neighborhood lost a good automotive store. read more

What a great experience! After trying to charge my dead battery, they confirmed it could not be saved. Instead of me having to bring my baby back in the store, Kamron went ahead and processed the warranty for a replacement battery, so when I drove up she immediately walked outside with it and had it all ready to go- without me even asking her to do so! She though fully anticipated the effort of unbuckling and buckling an infant just to walk in and walk right back out. Seriously great customer service...can't remember the last time I was impressed with customer service like this, very very much appreciated. I will be back! read more

I stopped in the evening and a lady helped me, I asked if she could check my battery and she seemed like it was inconvenient to her. When I had mentioned that my battery was an auto zone battery she stated no it is not, like I was an idiot. The Battery in my car is a professional series Duralast sold by auto zone to auto shops. She proceeds to ask someone else in the store if the Dallas shops sell different batteries, trying to point out again that it wasn't a auto zone battery. I understand that some of the employees might not know about the professional series batteries, but there is no need to treat customers that way. I ended up purchasing my battery at an auto zone in Irving because I didn't appreciate the customer service here. read more

A while back my battery was out in my car, so after a jumpstart from work I made my way to AutoZone. I wish I remembered the name of the young man who helped me, because he was absolutely phenomenal. He tested the battery and determined the problem was my alternator most likely, so he personally saw to it that my car was jumped even though he had to leave his vehicle running for quite a while to give it enough juice, and then when I made my way to the other place to have the alternator put in, the one I just bought from AutoZone, turns out the problem with my battery after all and the tool just didn't register it. I ended up going back to AutoZone to return the alternator. The young man was so great and polite, and went out of his way to make sure that taken care of as soon as possible. I would love a chance to thank that young man for helping what was such a frustrating day for me turn out to be quite pleasant as some of my faith in the youth of America was restored. :-) read more
