I went in this morning to get a new battery and honestly I was pretty anxious about the whole thing. Car stuff stresses me out, and I had no idea what I was looking for. Alex helped me right away. He showed me the two battery options for my car and explained the differences in a way that actually made sense. He was also really quick to pull my old battery out and let me know that removing it first would save me around twenty two dollars because it covered the core cost. At one point I totally misheard him and did not follow him back into the store like I was supposed to. He ended up coming back outside to get me, and he stayed super patient the whole time even though my hearing is terrible and I kept feeling lost. I called and have all specs on my truck looking for a replacement brake rotor and caliper. They said my parts were all in stock and they would set the aside. I drove about an hour to the seaside store (closest store to my house). Upon inquiring about my parts at the counter, they promptly pulled out my caliper and asked if there was anything else. I said yes, my rotor that was supposed to be set aside. Come to find out, they actually didn't have my rotor in stock, and I had driven an hour to a store that didn't have the parts I needed to complete my job. Now I'm truckless, waiting to drive back into town tomorrow. Lukily I have a second car. Obviously I'm not going back to seaside Autozone until I cool down a bit about this fiasco! My car needed a couple of parts so I called autozone in seaside and spoke to Joshua. I received amazing service from beginning of call to the end of service. Joshua was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. He put the 2 parts I needed on hold and as soon as I got there he rang them up and installed them for me too. Call to see if they have a battery for my Mercede s550 ,It take two different size battery one for starting and one for the computer system. The sale person said they have one in stock. Ask him if can give me the measurements of the battery. He said no. Asked him if he had a measuring tape or ruler ? No.Wasn't going down there and it wasn't the right size. , Just lost my business. Mechanically inclined? Fix things yourself at Autozone. Parts, tools, etc. The other day the Check Engine Light (MIL) came on in my Civic. I thought no big deal. It started flashing, yikes I better get this thing looked at. Delima. Wait for some auto shops to open up time for me, or I can go to Autozone, and they will let you check out the same type computer system that the mechanics will charge you between 70 and 90 dollars in the Monty area for, at the price of nothing. You ask them for the system to get your cars readout, and what they do is take a deposit from you of 160.00, I used my Visa card. As long as you bring the system back with all parts and in the same condition, they don't charge you. It was simple, most of the import cars have under or near the fuse panel a little plug, you plug the computer into that on the car, and turn the battery portion of the car on, and the readout prints out on the screen in front of you. Not only that, but it will also shut off that check engine light as well. (of course if you don't fix the problem it wont help, but). I had cylinder misfires on two cylinders, with the codes P0301 and P0303. I didn't need to look it up, I figured the spark plugs hadn't been changed in a long time. I went back in to autozone, purchased plugs, changed em, and sure enough my plugs I took out were really bad. All in all, I would have paid probably over 150 dollars for a mechanic to check my car and replace the plugs and shut off the check engine light. I did the work myself, which took all of 45 minutes total, and cost me a little more than 30 $. ( I bought the pre-gapped platinum plugs for my baby). Awesome. If your check engine light comes on, and you have an import, save yourself 70 or so dollars and go to autozone. If its serious, then take it to the mechanic so you have an idea of what the problem is. Mechanics in this area come up for such mystical charges as unicorns in mufflers etc. Staff is great here, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They were superb. This place qualifies for my automatic one star deduction because it is a chain. However, due to the staff being very helpful, and you can rent the computer systems, it gets bumped back up to 5 stars. Lose the unhelpful staff and you lose at least 1 star. read more

From the minute you walk in you can feel the quality of their customer service by the way they greet you. I also was able to witness the way the customer in front of me had her questions answered. Eddie was the employee that helped me. He was friendly, polite and efficient. I left very pleased with the experience and likely to make this store my place to go to for auto parts. Great customer service. My husband and I decided not to go to BMW and spend a couple of hundreds of dollars for a new battery. Purchased battery and staff was nice enough to let us borrow tools to change the battery. We mistakenly closed our trunk where the battery is located and the staff was kind enough to pull up one of their trucks to jump start the BMW from the alternator! How awesome is that. My grandma and I got stranded down the street from here because her car battery decided it was done. It took us a long time to find someone who would stop to help us with a jump even though we had the cables, so while we were waiting I called this location to see if they had the right battery. From the phone to store the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I'm not sure how to spell the name of the gentleman who helped us, I think it's spelled Alvaro? Came in for a transmission sensor part for my car. They did not have it but told me they could get it in that evening from another store. I came back that night and it was not there. I had already paid for the part, so I came back again after work the next day and they were able to find it. When I tried to install the part, I discovered it was the wrong part. I returned to the store and they tried to tell me that I had ordered the wrong part. I showed them the one off of my car and the receipt that showed the name of the part and a photo from the manufacturer. The clerk then admitted that they may have made a mistake in the part number. They did a rush order and I had my part in about 3 hours from a nearby store. I like Autozone. Have had good service and good prices for many years from them. I like their iPhone app and the ability to store my vehicle info on the app to look up parts. read more

Ok. So I came in to get a windshield wiper.there was a lady helping a man at her window. I stop in line and waited. We made eye contact three or four times but no smile, no greeting, no anything. Ok. Maybe she was really into her transaction. The guy she was helping was a jerk. He needed a part they didn't have and she offered to order it. It came as part of a kit which they had, but he didn't want to pay for the kit. It was like 6 vs. 30 dollars. He tried to work her into giving him the kit and he would return the unused parts. She said she couldn't do that which I totally understood. He kept pushing her different ways to get the part. It took forever. Then a kid came out of the back and told the other customer that they didn't have what he was looking for. He said the computer said they had one but it wasn't in the spot it was supposed to be. Another customer came in and had a box in his hand like he needed something. It looked more complicated than mine. After waiting 10 minutes without anyone greeting me, parts not on the shelf and an employee doing something she wasn't suppose to do making me wait longer. I just turned around and left...
