I'm not someone that is super car savvy. Yes, I've taken auto classes in high school and I know the…read morebasics but I get very overwhelmed when the conversation gets in depth. I was in need of a new serpentine belt as my car has been screeching at me whenever I crank it up. Fairly simple fix. So I headed to my local auto zone to buy the part so i could do the work myself. Upon entering I was greeted by someone at the register that I couldn't see. I looked up and down a few aisles in search of my part so I assumed it was behind the employees on their shelves. I got in line behind a few other people and at the time there was only one cashier. After about 2 minutes someone came from the back shelves and started checking out customers which sped up the process. Once I got to the register I asked for the part and provided my make & model. The older gentleman was super helpful. He helped me narrow down my search and let me explain exactly what I was trying to fix on my car. He really took his time speaking with me and I didn't feel rushed or like I was being talked down to. Very appreciative. Definitely a positive experience.

I went asking if they could simply scan my car as my car has been going into "limp" mode. I offered to change the direction I parked since I parked in front of the door so that the drivers side was directly in front of the door. She then gave me an attitude and stated no without trying to find a solution which would've simply been me changing my direction and placing the scanner into a plastic bag until in my car with the door closed. I will not be returning as none of the staff were helpful or pleasant to deal with. So not only do they have unpleasant staff. They were trying to get me to do something that is illegal in the state of Georgia.

Lots of great marketing tools being used here. Staff is also pretty awesome. Polite, knowledgable, and attentive. They also have a list of parts pullers you can call on roaming the yard. They'll do whatever you want (for a small fee) from a light bulb to an engine! All in all it's a pretty awesome place. I highly highly doubt you'll be unhappy with your visit here.

After being out in the yard for about two hours and 96° heat, I really wanted a red Powerade. So I put my card up to it and ordered the Powerade it approved. My card went through. Nothing came out the machine. As to not frazzle the already frantic old lady that runs the place I simply asked for change from my $20. Mind you this place collects three dollars per person for every entry into the yard. Not only was I told to just have the water that was free, but I was met with eyes rolling and sighs From what seems to be the new GM!(old Latin woman with a piss poor attitude!! ) So much so that I felt the need to just leave and say screw the Powerade and my money already spent in the machine as this was causing her undue stress that I didn't need to invoke on a senior citizen on what is only the second day of the work week. These people make it really hard to shop local and not go over to LKQ where they give you service with a smile and help you with the Powerade's in the machine. Let us not forget that you aren't paying us to take your old used parts, we're paying you to take your old used car parts that we take off the cars and pay an outrageous premium for so stop being so mean and hateful to your customers and maybe appreciate them Instead of making them feel so uncomfortable that they say screw their money and leave. Don't worry, I will not be coming back. God hates ugly but he sure made a hell of a lot of it.

I am seldom compelled to write a review, but I felt I needed to for Ennis Auto Top. Those guys are…read morethe BEST! My headliner started sagging around 93K miles and I received a ridiculously expensive estimate from my dealership (the car is a 2007 model). I dropped my car by Ennis to have them check it out, and the quote was so reasonable, I blurted out, "That's it?!" Their entire estimate was approximately 16% of the dealer's estimate. Making an appointment was simple: I just called them a couple of days before to tell them I wanted to drop it by, so that they could make sure they had the material in stock. I dropped it off at 8am and it was finished by 2pm that same day. At first, I was skeptical because it had taken such a short amount of time (the quote from the dealership involved leaving the car there for at least 24 hours), but when I went back to get my car, I was absolutely blown away by the work they had done. My car's interior is grey and the new headliner is black, but the difference is barely noticeable. I have had the new headliner on for one week and still cannot stop looking at it because it looks brand new. Note: I did have an issue, but it was resolved quickly and professionally. Upon arriving home the night I had it repaired, I noticed that my interior lights had ceased working. I called the next day and was told to bring it back in "when I had a chance" and they would be happy to look at it. I didn't get a chance to bring it until the next week, but the guys remembered me and my car immediately. I left it with them again at 8am and received a call before lunch that the issue had been repaired. They had to take the headliner down, fix the lights and put the headliner back on, and it still looks brand new. The man (owner? manager?) who I had the pleasure of dealing with this whole time (Robby) said that he was sorry that I had a problem with it, but he was happy that I brought it by so that he could fix the problem. Ennis deserves all of the business that they can handle, and I am beyond thrilled at the careful work they did on my car. I (naturally) hope that I will not have to return to have something else fixed, but I'm also saddened at the prospect of never having a chance to do business with them again; they were THAT great.
