Contacted Pull-A-Part a few times to sell my vehicle. When I first contacted them, the Operator…read moreoffered me a deal of about $500 for a my 2010 Ford Explorer. At the time, I was just interested in a quote and I told them that I would contact them again to finalize a deal if I couldn't find anyone to beat this quote. I ended up going out of town and forgot about my side project. Cut back a month later, I contact Pull-A-Part last week to sell my vehicle to them. The Operator then low-balled me with a different number than what they first offered and offered me $380. I was upset with this new number since I was expecting them to match their initial offer. I begrudgingly brought up this point and the Operator came back with a new offer of $410 for pickup on Saturday 7/12/2024. Since I was tired of dealing with this entire project, I agreed and we set an appointment to pick up my vehicle at 9am. I received a confirmation email and made preparations to have the vehicle picked up on Saturday at our agreed time. Come Saturday, I received ZERO correspondence from the hauler and at 0945am I contacted Pull-A-Part to ask if they were enroute. The Operator stated that they did not know when the hauler would arrive and that I would be contacted. Since I received no correspondence an HOUR after they were supposed to, I asked to reschedule for Monday. The Operator advised that the hauler would reschedule to Monday and did not provide a new time. The Operator stated that they "could not provide a time for Monday." I found this statement to be incredibly unprofessional since they were happy to provide a time when they first tried to low-ball me. I agreed to an ambiguous Monday reschedule. Today is Monday and you can guess that no one has contacted me and no one has come to get the vehicle. At this point, I'm sure that this business is some kind of scam.

Keep in mind no kids allowed here i had my kid so the look around was cut short plus it was to hot while we waited for her dad to try to find the spare . Well they didn't have the battery, so I purchased it at the store that I was at. Well that was a big mistake. I was told that the other store would put the battery in my car well they didn't. AutoZone has some rule about if you purchase the battery at that store then they would have to replace it. So here I go back to the other store. I stood there for the longest waiting for the guy who initially helped me to replace my battery. He just sat there and ignored me really everyone ignored me. The guy was rude and really had no manners or customers service skills. He didn't know how to change out the battery. His supervisor made him change it even though he didn't know what he was doing. So he literally walked away without replacing the battery. Here I am standing outside with my car hood up in 90 degree weather. Also the supervisor and the worker were arguing with one another in front of customers. Finally the supervisor had someone to come and help. The young mam who helped was professional and he apologized for the incompetence of his coworker and supervisor. I will never go back there! That location needs training about customer service and how to do their jobs properly. It's a disaster over there! The supervisor did nothing nor did she apologize for the poor service!

Very clearly, I want to note this only applies to the onine NAPA site for the corporate: what they…read moreclaim on their website is FALSE: "RETURNING SHIP TO HOME ITEMS TO NAPA ONLINE VIA UPS Items purchased on NAPA Online and shipped to your home can be returned free of charge via UPS. First, obtain a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA) by contacting NAPA Online Customer Support. They will give you the following options: UPS shipping label mailed to you UPS shipping label emailed to you so you may print it." This is not true, not true, and you cannot do this via online or email. I have just filed with the BBB to see if I can get a $42 refund this way. They will though send a robot reply that they have received your refund request--then it turns into a dead end.

This review is for NAPA Corporate - Got a bill that was not mine and closed the account several…read moreyears ago. This is the second year it has happened for the same thing. The first time either last year or the year before they took care of after a lot of problems for me. This time I called when I first got bill and was informed it would be taken care of. On the phone twenty minutes. Got a statement today for same bill and was on the phone for ten minutes and was told I need to go to local store to handle. I have already wasted 30 minutes of my time trying to straighten out their problem. I am going to store, which for me is another 30 minutes minimum. Seems like they could hire people that would know how to deal with problems instead of people that do not care. I would not recommend dealing with NAPA.
