I normally don't take the time to write reviews because I feel like most people online don't even read them, but I had to recognize the exceptional customer service I received from District Manager Alex at AutoZone on Aldine Westfield. I originally bought an alternator that turned out to be bad, costing me over $589 in repairs and frustration. I first went back to the AutoZone at 24723 Aldine Westfield Rd, where I purchased it, but they were unable to help with the refund and told me to try another location. I then went to the AutoZone further down Aldine Westfield, and Alex stepped in and took care of the situation professionally and respectfully. He made the process smooth and actually cared about helping resolve the issue. Great customer service is hard to find these days, and Alex definitely went above and beyond. Thank you again for the help. read more

I've been all but ignored at this location , so it was refreshing to be acknowledged by Jaymes and helped. He went the extra mile and I am so grateful . I appreciate his willingness to help an older woman who is typically ignored in an auto parts store . Thank you ! read more

AutoZone is always busy, if you're in a rush this location isn't for you. Good thing the staff is knowledgeable of their products and cars.

This place isn't worth the concrete is sits on the people there know nothing about the auto parts business and further more are extremely rude towards the customers. STAY AWAY gace one star because you have to give it one but doesn't deserve that one read more

Came here because my battery for my car was dead. I brought my friend with me, as I know NOTHING about cars. First off, my friend was the one that removed my battery and told them to test it. Then they sold me a new battery. Fine. Here's the part that bugged me. They didn't come change the battery for me. They actually sold me an unnecessary cover thing for my battery (something that didn't work for my car and I had to throw out). Actually one of the employees that was dragged out (went in there like 3 times asking for help) threw it away. I didn't get a refund. Let's just say, staff is wack. Service was awful. If my friend hadn't gone with me I probably wouldve been MORE screwed. NEVER coming back to this location. read more

I came in here looking for car seat covers and mats after being thoroughly frustrated by Walmarts mismatched selection. This store had exactly the color and style I was looking for and at better prices than I had found at Walmart. I was in and out in 20 minutes. The service was good and our cashier was friendly. read more

Horrible Service. Two managers standing behind counter talking while there is a line of customers

I don't know how people get hired to work here much less keep their job. Their general knowledge about anything automotive related is ZERO. Also their customer service is none existent. Sour faces and horrible attitudes is all you're going to get here. Please save yourself the trouble and headache and go somewhere else. read more

One person working the store. So if you need anything done outside, like all those things they love to advertise about, or if you need anything in any kind of reasonable amount of time then you are completely out of luck. What a waste of time. read more

Even for a Thursday at 12, it is busy. 3 people working but one goes to lunch. Phone ringing constantly and people needing parts on cars outside checked. Why are there not more employees? We actually had to go in 3 times. 1st time the register wouldn't recognize the ladies number so we had to switch. In all that my hubster forgot spark plugs. In the time it took to walk out to the truck and back in, our lady went to lunch. So the line is 5 deep now. 1 man at the counter so we wait. Then we have the pleasure of getting Julia. She goes to get our plugs and answers 3 phone calls and helps them. Not a happy customer. Ended up next door at O Reilly. I guess AutoZone is making so much money that they didn't need ours. read more

The last few times I've been in this store, I'm about 3rd in line for parts and I wait 45 minutes, no joke! Its like walmart at midnight. I don't know what they do in the back, but they shouldn't be running check engine codes on cars with all these people waiting, and one guy at the register that just rings up people that don;t need parts, and he doesn't assist when he's done ringing up people that do not need parts. My other complaint is their Duralast parts. Every Duralast part I've bought fell apart, tie rod ends, 6 months, creeper to go under a car, wheels fell off, jack won't hold pressure thats 6 months old, Ive since spent my money at Orielly and if want a good front end part, go with Moog, little more money, less headache. read more

Been coming here for years, however since Larry left recently, it just went down to shit. Nobody here cares about the customers or bothers to see if you need help or anything. Well, that's fine, not really the big issue. Went by today to get some air valve caps and waited literally 10 minutes for an item that was a dollar. I could understand if they were short staffed and it was like 5pm, but it was like 10am, only one customer in front of me and 3 employees. 1 grey shirt in the front and 2 red shirts in the back. One doing inventory I assume and the other on break eating a snack. The guys in front of me were discussing what they were going to do, not even talking to the grey shirt manager. He could've checked me out literally within a minute. The customer in front of me then decided he wanted to get his part tested before buying and then the manager had the nerve to tell me to keep waiting until after they tested the part. Are you kidding me? This is why so many people steal from this auto zone (as I've seen before in the past) they're tired of waiting for this slow incompetent customer service. I then told the manager "look you can check me out real quick I've been here for 10 minutes for this small item" he then told me to "hold on" and that they were moving as fast as they could. I didn't like his attitude so I told him I was going to the next-door rival O'Reilley's, and he then told me he didn't care and to do so because "there's never a line" there. Yet there wasn't a line in his own shop. So much for trying to help save a customer. As I was leaving the guys in front of me were complaining to the staff in the back on why I wasn't being helped. And another man entered and got a line, I told him to not bother because he wasn't gonna be helped until at least the next hour. I then went to O'Reilley's and got helped and checked out within a minute even while having 3 customers in front of me. As I was leaving the gentleman who walked in after me was leaving pissed off complaining about the service from autozone. In short, go next door to O'Reilley's. read more

Horrible place to shop and work. There is no service and hours are portioned out on an unfair, illegal basis. The store manager is very incompetent and has only his own personal well being in mind. Customers are made to wait for extended periods of time because of poor scheduling. The manager does not care and will tell customers to go next door the competition. Whole situation is just unprofessional. read more
