Disappointed with my local auto zone. Today we parked at auto zone for less than 10 minutes when a female employee with black hair asking us to move because this spot is for their auto zone cars. She asked us to move in a very rude way. They left to make a delivery. Not even 15 minutes later they came back later and asked "no lo pueden mover" in Spanish. Also the parking spot isn't marked. She needs training on customer service.

(See picture of license plates.) And that is exactly the reason why I was here. It's a good thing the plate didn't fly off on a 6.5hr drive back home. My neighbor was the one who pointed it out because how often does one really look at their plates at anytime they get anywhere? This store was on the way home from work so I figure they would have the proper screws. I expected to take longer than I did sinceI figure it's gotta be in some unassuming place given the size of this store. I was surprised to find it less than a minute at walk in. Naturally, I was happy to be walking outta there another less than a minute later! When does that ever happen, eh!? Staff was also nice and friendly. Only thing I couldn't understand is there's no point giving your phone number for points if your purchase is less than $20. (Why does that matter?) A good run nonetheless.

Need help? Ask William! Super nice, knowledgeable guy with a great attitude.

I am very detailed and picky and I have honestly never seen a perfect ppf job; regardless of the shop or material. I have seen some fantastic jobs, but you can always find a defect. That said, ppf installation is hard, very hard and takes a ton of patience. I have talked to a number of people that attempted their own ppf installation (product supplied from different companies) and many of them ended the project with the material in a ball in the garbage can. In my 10 years of experience buying only from Invisible Mask, their product has only gotten better and better. Have some of the kits fit better than others, yes. Was any fit ever terrible, no. Did I have issues with some installs because they were difficult and I lacked experience, yes. However, especially in the recent years, the kits I have purchased have fit amazingly. I recently bought an Invisible Mask kit for my '25 CR-V which included the partial hood and fenders, and bumper. The bumper of a '25 CR-V is quite complex and the install was difficult, but the fit of the kit was amazing! My most recent Invisible Mask kit was for an F150 I just purchased. This truck has a chrome bumper that I did not consider needing ppf. I wanted to buy the partial hood/fender kit, but I only wanted to buy one piece of the bumper kit. I left a message on the Invisible Mask site and also a voicemail message requesting to buy a custom kit. It did take a few weeks for Invisible Mask to get back to me; however, I talked to Kristen and she was super helpful, gave me a price on the custom kit, and sent it out that day! I got the kit a few days later. I have always used the 3M ppf offered by Invisible Mask and felt it was a very good, not fantastic product; but the price point was right. For my last purchase for the F150 I neglected to tell Kristen which material I wanted and she sent me ArmorWrap Ultra. OMG, I didn't know what I was missing! Although the 3M product is very good, the ArmorWrap is much better (it also has a lifetime warranty). Do you still have to pull and stretch the material and is it a bear to apply; yup! But in the end, it looks even better than the 3M and I think you get much better adhesion on the edges. BTW, the fit of this F150 kit was again, perfect! This is all just my two cents. I read an article about ppf application a while ago from a person that was a full-time installer. He said that until you have completed 100's of ppf installations, you won't be good at it. That, and all of the installs I have seen that have some type of flaw, put things in perspective for me. I, personally, have had very good experience with Invisible Mask and will certainly continue to buy my ppf kits only from them. Lastly, I did have one experience with another pre-cut ppf company. I was doing my nephew's M2 and although I had recommended he buy the ppf kit from Invisible Mask, he bought it somewhere else (sorry, I don't know the company). The front of an M2 is hard enough to apply ppf as it is, but this kit was absolutely horrible!

An added touch was when the work was done he showed me a bunch of the parts he changed and explained why he did so. I'm no mechanic, but I still appreciated him taking the time to do so. I've gone back to him twice since, including today, and every time he's been exceptional. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction truly set them apart from the competition. My relationship began with Wilson (owner) when I dropped off a Toyota Cressida 3.0L6 DOHC 16V Engine for a complete engine rebuild. He completed the engine in short order. So I picked it up and reinstalled it into my customer's car. After making routine adjustments and road testing, the engine ran perfectly. However, I did detect a very faint metallic sound emitting from the engine. Thinking it might be a lifter that might possibly quieten down after the engine was broken in. I shared my thoughts with my customer and suggested that they drive the car 500 mile, then return it to me. At that point, I would change the oil and reassess the health of the engine. 529 miles later, my customer returned the car to me, and the noise was still there. In fact, it had gotten worse. I alerted Wilson and he instructed me to bring the car back to him so he could check it out. I left the car at his shop, but he could not readily detect the source of the noise. So, he ultimately removed the engine from the car, totally dismantled it, inspecting and measuring all the internal components. Still, he found nothing out of specs. Obviously puzzled, and determined, he decided to start all over again, from scratch. The Toyota 3.0L DOHC 16V Engine is obsolete and hard to find. But after an extensive search for another "Rebuildable" Engine Block and Head, Wilson eventually found the cores that he needed to complete the project. He finally finished second the engine rebuild and reinstalled it a few weeks ago. When I went to pick the car up, he handed me an invoice with "UNDER WARRANTY" written across the page. He did not charge one additional dime for the nightmare in which he endured with this vehicle. Wilson is a class act! Not only is he honest, but he also has integrity - old school integrity! S. Sanders Positive Image Automotive P.S. My customer just reached the 300-mile mark and is happy as a Lark! Thanks Wilson! You are a true gentleman.

My husband has been a loyal O'Reilly Auto Parts customer for many years. As a proud U.S. Army…read moreVeteran, he has always appreciated the respect and recognition shown to him through the military discount O'Reilly offers. Unfortunately, today's experience was nothing short of disappointing and disrespectful. The representative named Angel not only refused to provide the military discount but did so in a rude and unprofessional manner. When my husband calmly questioned the reasoning, Angel dismissed him with a comment along the lines of "Whatever you have to say isn't making me rich, so I don't care." My husband, who looks Caucasian but is of Hispanic descent, felt completely disrespected and demeaned. When he asked to speak with a manager, Angel claimed there was no manager on duty. My husband returned home upset, and I personally called the store. Angel again stated there was no manager available and mentioned he was just "filling in" from another location, Store #3066 on Normandie off the 110 freeway. When I later contacted that location, I spoke with Eddie, who confirmed that Angel was acting as the manager that day. I explained what happened and how poorly Angel treated a U.S. Army Veteran, but Eddie had little to say. I was later provided the corporate number to report the incident, and I learned that the manager for the Hawthorne store is Kevin, while Luis manages store #3066. This type of behavior is unacceptable--especially toward someone who has served our country. Employees like Angel need to be retrained and held accountable for how they treat customers, particularly our veterans who deserve respect, not ridicule. We've always trusted O'Reilly Auto Parts for their professionalism and veteran-friendly service, and I truly hope this incident is addressed appropriately so no other veteran has to go through this experience.

In February 2025, I had a car battery installed there, and just one week later, in early March, the battery died. I had to call AAA for assistance, and their technician confirmed it was a bad battery that needed replacement. I even have the AAA report as proof. I returned to the Lawndale store the next morning with the report, but was told the battery was "fine." They refused to replace it, despite it being under warranty. Fast forward to April 11, the battery failed again--same issue. This time, I was beyond frustrated and had AAA replace the battery entirely. What makes this worse is that I believe the battery originally installed by O'Reilly was used, not new. I went to a second location (4900 W 190th, Torrance) hoping for better help, but had a similar experience--dismissive attitude, no accountability, and no resolution. I'm writing this review so others are aware. This experience cost me time, money, and peace of mind. If you're relying on your vehicle daily, beware of the service and product quality at these O'Reilly locations. A warranty means nothing if the staff refuses to honor it.
