100% recommend getting your line-x spray from this location. Rick the owner was patient and helpful over the phone. He does not upsell rather is honest about his business and recommendation. Taniya was also helpful when it comes time to dropping off and picking up your vehicle. The whole thing was quick and painless. Excellent service over all. read more

I brought in my Retrax Pro XR tonneau cover for installation. I came a hour ahead of my appointment but no worries , Kevin took care of me. Don't know how, but he was done in about 20 minutes. NO LIE! As for the price, I had people quoting me ridiculous prices for the install. One spot in Santa Monica quoted me $450 LOL. You won't go wrong with Kevin + Line X Hawthorne! read more

Line-X makes the best truck covers hands-down. They claim water resistant, but I can tell you they are waterproof. I've been through storms in Arizona and Wyoming and through Mexico and it has never leaked on my Ford F150. And they do honor their warranty. After a few years, I did get one issue and they completely replaced the cover. And the people in Hawthorne were awesome, they promised me within an hour and it was maybe 15 minutes for installation. They were kind and helpful and did not make me wait. I know that no cover is burglar-proof, but no burglar is gonna wanna mess with trying to break through this cover, I've never had anything stolen. I recommend buying a cover from a rare company that under-promises on performance and with the warranty, lives up to its word. read more

Great people. Great job. Nice product. And they had the work done same day. I called in the morning to see if they had availability. They told me to just come and if they can get it done they'll do it. I picked my truck up about 6 hours later. Really great job. read more

I went to South Bay Line-X to get an undercoating for my 2007 Tacoma. Because vehicles are so ridiculously expensive now, I want to make my 18-year-old truck last as long as possible and have been in the process of doing a minor restoration of faded body parts. I have to say that Rick and the team at South Bay Line-X far exceeded my expectations. I ended up also getting a premium bed liner and painting of miscellaneous trim parts. Everything looks fantastic and the price was very fair! The undercoating came out great. See photos of wheel well areas. The bed looks amazing, as well. They removed all bolts and racks from the bed before applying the bed liner. They applied a special plastic paint onto the plastic rails and compartments. Super satisfied. I had planned to replace my faded, oxidized front grill and front bumper cover. They sprayed the grill with the Line-X coating and the front bumper with the plastic paint. It looks brand new. I now don't have to replace those items, which saved me almost $1,000. All-in-all, I am so satisfied with their work. Rick took the time to explain all options to me and determine what I was hoping to achieve. He is the man. I can't give them a higher recommendation. read more

After recently picking up a new Nissan Frontier, I was unfortunately unable to convince the dealership to throw in a bed-liner! Sucks for me! As a person who tends to move items, both large and small and heavy and light, it was imperative that I get a liner installed ASAP! Having previous knowledge of LINE-X products and their durability and lifetime warranty, it was a no-brainer! After searching different LINE-X locations and looking through customer reviews, I decided to visit South Bay LINE-X, not because of their perfect five star rating because it was the only location that DIDN'T have one, but rather for proximity to me and because I wanted to see why they didn't have a higher rating! Upon arrival, I was greeted pretty much immediately in the office. The technician and I spoke for approximately 15-20 minutes in detail about what products they offered, how much they'd cost, the lifetime warranty and showed me sample products. I explained my situation and he helped me narrow down my options! I wish all employees were this thorough and helpful everywhere I go! I picked my product and scheduled my installation! When I dropped my car off, the same tech checked me in and took my key and off to Starbucks I went to get some work done (don't judge me, I just didn't feel like going into the office lol)! When my car was complete, I walked back over to LINE-X (Starbucks is literally across the street lol), inspected my car, paid my bill and received my receipt and warranty documents! As I was walking out, I asked the technician why the reviews seemed so off? The negativity didn't align at all with my experience, which was AMAZING! That's when I found out that there is a new owner and they are really working hard to improve and elevate their business! I can definitely respect that! And I must say, they're doing an amazing job of that! Bottom line, I'm glad I didn't go anywhere else! South Bay LINE-X was and is, by far, the best spot! - Standard Bedliner (5 out of 5) read more

Excellent customer service. Truck spray liner was quick and an excellent job. Great price with warranty. We had a great experience here.

They installed a premium Line X bed liner in my brand new ford lightning and it came out perfect. I was so impressed with their service and workmanship that I drove 100 miles back the second time to have a tonneau cover installed and once again, they did an outstanding job. The team is caring, detail-oriented, and truly puts the customer first. Rick, the owner, was fantastic to work with. read more

One of the best experiences with a service company I've ever had and I'm a very "old fart". .. finally decided to try a spray paint bed liner for my 2001 Tacoma.... I've tried couple times to purchase liners online but always disappointed with the experience. The last draw was to actually purchase one recently and have it shipped to my house ; was disappointed but not surprised when it arrived (after paying $125 shipping) it didn't fit. Seems they didn't take into account my model was different in 2001. Anyway , back to this experience... called it got an appointment just two days later.. was told bring my truck in at 8:30/9 when they open...it was smooth sailing from the beginning ... returned for pickup as promised or actually earlier at 3:30. the finished job was beautiful and I am pleased way past my expeditions. The lady in office handling it all Tonya was excellent.. friendly , knowledgeable and efficient all of which made for a fantastic experience. True this product maybe double the cost of the standard liner but this will be a tight perfect fit, durable and beautiful! ...... highly recommend this process and especially these people. Five star all the way Thank You Tonya read more

Fantastic experience just the other day at South Bay LINE-X. Set up an appointment a few days prior. Showed up on time, and the guys were ready to get to work. This was for my brand new / 1 week old / 125mi Ford Ranger. I had one small special request, a small area on the front (near the cab) rail that I didn't want covered. This was no problem, and they made it perfect! Top notch workmanship! read more

We had a great experience with Rielly and his partner. He quoted us an extremely competitive price for a set of offroading bumpers ordered for my truck. There was no way powder coating was going to stand up to the abuse so we ordered them bare metal. For less than the price of powder coating, these bumpers will stand the test of impacts yet to come!!! Best of all, they got me in same day and out next day!!! I think we lucked out, or that's just the way they roll. Not sure - but man it was a friendly, true to the word good old fashioned handshake kind of deal. ...oh ~ they turned out beyond expectations. Better than anything we were able to conceptualize. read more

I purchased a new Toyota Tundra and wanted a bedliner. I have had bad experiences with the plastic ones so I decided that I wanted to get a spray-on bedliner. There are quite a few options available. I had read some great reviews on the Line-X product line, so I decided to go that route. After looking around at local shops, I decided to go with South Bay Line-X. I went in for a consultation and discussed my options. Brynn was very patient with all of my questions and showed me some options. I was leaning towards getting the Line-X Premium. After I read some reviews of Line-X Premium, I was sold. I made an appointment to drop my truck off and went about my business. My truck looks awesome! I am extremely happy with both the Line-X Premium and with the installation. The texture is excellent. It looks uniform and clean. I think it is absolutely fantastic! I could not be happier. Customer service has been top notch. Brynn takes a very meticulous approach to every aspect of service. I was so impressed that I had him order me some additional accessories. I will continue to do business with this shop! read more

Horrible horrible horrible customer service. After getting my classic truck painted I was ready for a bed liner so I reached out to South Bay LINE-X. He explained to me how they like to wait a few weeks so the paint can set so no masking they do will peel up the clear coat. After waiting a couple weeks I set the appointment. I was a bit nervous leaving my truck at the shop. But they treated my truck with care and did an excellent job on the liner. Great customer service, they were friendly and professional. I dropped my truck off at 8:30am and had it back by 3pm. read more

I just purchased the platinum package bedliner for my 2016 Toyota Tacoma. Brynn and associates were extremely easy to work with. I literally just made an appointment a few days in advance and drove over. The quality of the work was excellent and the turnaround time was lighting fast. It only took a few hours. They seem to be working on alot of super nice late model and classic trucks. I took a good look at the work before choosing them to work on my truck. It was extremely convenient to take it to them. They are a short walk from Main Street in El Segundo. I would definitely use them again! read more

Thanks guys...great job on my Early Bronco floor and bed. top notch. Super sharp. Way increased the value of the vehicle.

These guys are just awesome! Great experience and solid work! Had my truck back the same day.

I explained to the guy on the phone that i have an existing bedliner that's needs to go and want to do spray on. Quote over the phone was 485+tax but when I got there it went up to 615. Was told the truck would be ready in 3-4 hours so I got there 4 hours all happy just to find out that they sprayed so much my tailgate won't close. First they tried to tell me that "it probably was like this before" I wasn't having it and had em fix it. An hour later still the same, so now it's off to sanding the tailgate, 2 hours later same thing. So after 7 hours 130$ more than I was told on the phone I just took off with a tailgate that no longer works like it used to and scratches from previous bedliner because they didn't tape it off properly. No sorry, no we will make it work, just blamed it all on my truck. I should take those imbecils to court but I have no time for this. read more

Dropped off my truck at 8:30am like they asked. Said it would be done between 1-2pm I called at 1:30 to get a status: Linex dude--sorry we had an issue with our materials give us another hour were almost done Linex dude --(2pm) hey we locked your truck and now it wont move and the alarm wont stop going off. Me--ok well have you started on it? Linex guy-well we had an issue with our spray gun Me-which is it an issue with materials or your equipment.. Forget it ill just come pick it up. So a day wasted running around dropping off/picking up my truck and asking unnecessary favors of being picked up/dropped off and borrowing someone else's truck. You're in the linex business? Have extra material and guns!! Or maybe dont lie to your customers about bs material and equipment issues and keep the original order of vehicles so customers aren't waiting around all day for their vehicles. Oh and this is after we just dropped off 4 other trucks that were supposed to be done in two days... 4 days later.. I guess its my fault for thinking they could do one truck on time Thanks for nothing el segundo linex dude read more

Terrible customer service is an understatement, try zero. I spoke ahead of time with them on the phone and told them I was going to have to stay around town because I did not have another vehicle so wanted a time estimate, I was told 3-4 hours tops over the phone. I had an appointment for 8:30am. Showed up and was told 4-5 hours, ok whatever, walked around town got breakfast and 5 hours rolled around, gave them a call. Was told sorry problem with the machine (ironic that has come up in all the other negative reviews) so another 45-1 hour. Ok fine. An hour later I walked back to the shop, they were currently spraying the truck, so I sat in the lobby. It took 52 minutes before some one there spoke one word to me, not one thing, even though they walked out several times. I'm not asking for an offering of cucumber water just a hey sorry it's taking a bit longer, something, an acknowledgment that I in fact existed and was intact sitting 10ft away. So 7.5 hours later and they were done. I understand maybe things go wrong but had I known or given an update I could have made other arrangements instead of just sitting around waiting. When I voiced my concerns they clearly could not have cared less. I also want to know why you think it's ok to put your sticker on my car without asking it is 10 days old I would prefer you ask before you put your advertisement on MY property. You had 7.5 hours and still missed two spots around my bed lights, so absent customer service and OK workmanship. I would suggest finding another location before giving these guys your business because I can tell you they do not care about you or your vehicle. read more

As a certified dealer of Draw Tite, Brynn at South Bay Line X ordered and installed the 2" hitch I needed on my Forester. I called them up on a Thursday and they said they could get the part in the next day and installed that same day. I got the call Friday afternoon and sure enough they came through. I paid $170 for the Draw Tite 75876, $90 for the install, and $30 for a lock. It was better than spending close to $1000 at the dealership which would only install a 1.25" hitch. read more

Called these guys yesterday afternoon to get a Line-X quote for my 2016 F150. Spoke to Brynn and he was able to give me a quote right away. I could tell he knew his stuff and he didn't try to oversell me on anything. I was able to get my truck in the following morning and picked it up right after work. I couldn't be happier with the quality in the end! There were no hidden costs or extra charges either! He also had a ton of product knowledge for other truck accessories I'm interested in. They told me up front that they'd need to keep it for at least a week because they would be dependent upon the sandblaster's schedule - fair enough. I was able to deal with that because this is not my daily driver and I live right in town. It DID take a while to get my truck done, for legitimate reasons - it was pretty badly rusted out, dependent upon sandblaster and I think these guys are just REALLY busy. There was a communication breakdown regarding what needed to be done, the estimate, what was done and the bill and there was little communication over the course of the whole job. These are the reasons I didn't give 5 stars: because it took much longer than expected and lack of communication. It wasn't a slam dunk experience for me but ultimately, I have to credit them for making it right and I'm very happy with the results. I would go back to South Bay Line-X but I would make sure everything was in writing up front. read more
