Line-X makes the best truck covers hands-down. They claim water resistant, but I can tell you they are waterproof. I've been through storms in Arizona and Wyoming and through Mexico and it has never leaked on my Ford F150. And they do honor their warranty. After a few years, I did get one issue and they completely replaced the cover. And the people in Hawthorne were awesome, they promised me within an hour and it was maybe 15 minutes for installation. They were kind and helpful and did not make me wait. I know that no cover is burglar-proof, but no burglar is gonna wanna mess with trying to break through this cover, I've never had anything stolen. I went to South Bay Line-X to get an undercoating for my 2007 Tacoma. Because vehicles are so ridiculously expensive now, I want to make my 18-year-old truck last as long as possible and have been in the process of doing a minor restoration of faded body parts. I have to say that Rick and the team at South Bay Line-X far exceeded my expectations. I ended up also getting a premium bed liner and painting of miscellaneous trim parts. Everything looks fantastic and the price was very fair! The undercoating came out great. See photos of wheel well areas. The bed looks amazing, as well. They removed all bolts and racks from the bed before applying the bed liner. They applied a special plastic paint onto the plastic rails and compartments. Super satisfied. I had planned to replace my faded, oxidized front grill and front bumper cover. They sprayed the grill with the Line-X coating and the front bumper with the plastic paint. It looks brand new. I now don't have to replace those items, which saved me almost $1,000. All-in-all, I am so satisfied with their work. After recently picking up a new Nissan Frontier, I was unfortunately unable to convince the dealership to throw in a bed-liner! Sucks for me! As a person who tends to move items, both large and small and heavy and light, it was imperative that I get a liner installed ASAP! Having previous knowledge of LINE-X products and their durability and lifetime warranty, it was a no-brainer! After searching different LINE-X locations and looking through customer reviews, I decided to visit South Bay LINE-X, not because of their perfect five star rating because it was the only location that DIDN'T have one, but rather for proximity to me and because I wanted to see why they didn't have a higher rating! Upon arrival, I was greeted pretty much immediately in the office. The technician and I spoke for approximately 15-20 minutes in detail about what products they offered, how much they'd cost, the lifetime warranty and showed me sample products. I explained my situation and he helped me narrow down my options! I wish all employees were this thorough and helpful everywhere I go! I picked my product and scheduled my installation! When I dropped my car off, the same tech checked me in and took my key and off to Starbucks I went to get some work done (don't judge me, I just didn't feel like going into the office lol)! When my car was complete, I walked back over to LINE-X (Starbucks is literally across the street lol), inspected my car, paid my bill and received my receipt and warranty documents! As I was walking out, I asked the technician why the reviews seemed so off? The negativity didn't align at all with my experience, which was AMAZING! One of the best experiences with a service company I've ever had and I'm a very "old fart". .. finally decided to try a spray paint bed liner for my 2001 Tacoma.... I've tried couple times to purchase liners online but always disappointed with the experience. The last draw was to actually purchase one recently and have it shipped to my house ; was disappointed but not surprised when it arrived (after paying $125 shipping) it didn't fit. Seems they didn't take into account my model was different in 2001. He explained to me how they like to wait a few weeks so the paint can set so no masking they do will peel up the clear coat. After waiting a couple weeks I set the appointment. I explained to the guy on the phone that i have an existing bedliner that's needs to go and want to do spray on. Quote over the phone was 485+tax but when I got there it went up to 615. Was told the truck would be ready in 3-4 hours so I got there 4 hours all happy just to find out that they sprayed so much my tailgate won't close. First they tried to tell me that "it probably was like this before" I wasn't having it and had em fix it. An hour later still the same, so now it's off to sanding the tailgate, 2 hours later same thing. So after 7 hours 130$ more than I was told on the phone I just took off with a tailgate that no longer works like it used to and scratches from previous bedliner because they didn't tape it off properly. No sorry, no we will make it work, just blamed it all on my truck. I should take those imbecils to court but I have no time for this. read more

Terrible customer service is an understatement, try zero. I spoke ahead of time with them on the phone and told them I was going to have to stay around town because I did not have another vehicle so wanted a time estimate, I was told 3-4 hours tops over the phone. I had an appointment for 8:30am. Showed up and was told 4-5 hours, ok whatever, walked around town got breakfast and 5 hours rolled around, gave them a call. Was told sorry problem with the machine (ironic that has come up in all the other negative reviews) so another 45-1 hour. Ok fine. An hour later I walked back to the shop, they were currently spraying the truck, so I sat in the lobby. It took 52 minutes before some one there spoke one word to me, not one thing, even though they walked out several times. I'm not asking for an offering of cucumber water just a hey sorry it's taking a bit longer, something, an acknowledgment that I in fact existed and was intact sitting 10ft away. So 7.5 hours later and they were done. I understand maybe things go wrong but had I known or given an update I could have made other arrangements instead of just sitting around waiting. When I voiced my concerns they clearly could not have cared less. I also want to know why you think it's ok to put your sticker on my car without asking it is 10 days old I would prefer you ask before you put your advertisement on MY property. You had 7.5 hours and still missed two spots around my bed lights, so absent customer service and OK workmanship. I would suggest finding another location before giving these guys your business because I can tell you they do not care about you or your vehicle. read more

Said it would be done between 1-2pm I called at 1:30 to get a status: Linex dude--sorry we had an issue with our materials give us another hour were almost done Linex dude --(2pm) hey we locked your truck and now it wont move and the alarm wont stop going off. Me--ok well have you started on it? Linex guy-well we had an issue with our spray gun Me-which is it an issue with materials or your equipment.. Forget it ill just come pick it up. So a day wasted running around dropping off/picking up my truck and asking unnecessary favors of being picked up/dropped off and borrowing someone else's truck. You're in the linex business? Have extra material and guns!! Or maybe dont lie to your customers about bs material and equipment issues and keep the original order of vehicles so customers aren't waiting around all day for their vehicles. Oh and this is after we just dropped off 4 other trucks that were supposed to be done in two days... 4 days later.. As a certified dealer of Draw Tite, Brynn at South Bay Line X ordered and installed the 2" hitch I needed on my Forester. I called them up on a Thursday and they said they could get the part in the next day and installed that same day. I got the call Friday afternoon and sure enough they came through. I paid $170 for the Draw Tite 75876, $90 for the install, and $30 for a lock. It was better than spending close to $1000 at the dealership which would only install a 1.25" hitch. read more

My Chevy Colorado has a brand new bed! I did the research and found out that you get what you pay for. I just had Linex installed with the UV coat and it looks amazing. I have the long bed, it was $650. The guys were professional, it took 4 hours and they called when it was ready. I went for a walk, had a manicure, massage and did some shopping on Main st. Great experience, I will definitely update on the performance of the bed and if the Lifetime warranty holds up. They told me up front that they'd need to keep it for at least a week because they would be dependent upon the sandblaster's schedule - fair enough. I was able to deal with that because this is not my daily driver and I live right in town. It DID take a while to get my truck done, for legitimate reasons - it was pretty badly rusted out, dependent upon sandblaster and I think these guys are just REALLY busy. There was a communication breakdown regarding what needed to be done, the estimate, what was done and the bill and there was little communication over the course of the whole job. These are the reasons I didn't give 5 stars: because it took much longer than expected and lack of communication. It wasn't a slam dunk experience for me but ultimately, I have to credit them for making it right and I'm very happy with the results. I would go back to South Bay Line-X but I would make sure everything was in writing up front. read more
