About an hour later i had to go back cause my DRL lights weren't working so Alex checked it out and fixed it quickly. This place does a lot of custom work from lowering, exhaust, lighting, sounds and aftermarket wheels. So glad i found this place through Yelp so close to home . Well looks like I got fooled by the 5 star reviews. As you read the reviews thoroughly you will notice that most of those reviews are from people that are not really knowledgeable about cars in a mechanical sense. Just happy for their problem to be fixed. Without realizing they've been overcharged. This guy just takes advantage of people that he can. Basically insists on getting more than what is needed done so he can make more money. He's one of those stubborn guys that "knows everything" and tries to tell you to do what he wants or thinks should be done to your car. lol then he wanted to overcharge 300 for inspecting my car which was never agreed or talked about. I told him to meet in the middle I'd give him 150 he coudlnt even have a conversation he walked away. So then he didn't want to give me my car key. I told him let's move on , he ignored me so I told him I'm going to have to get the cops involved then. This place was recommended by a friend of mine a few months ago to get some re-upholstery done on my rx7 but what I really wanted was to go faster and look cool doing it. They installed my full exhaust system (DP,mid,catBack),Intakes, a quick release system with Nardi steering wheel, L.E.D. and HID's and have also taken care of the maintenance that these car require so much off. You can't put a price on peace of mind. Alex is amazing. I have a 370z and an R6 that he's worked on and I'm obsessed with mods now. I had another local shop mess my car up so I brought it here to fix the damage. We ended up doing the 370z in a matte finish with black wheels and smoked the tail lights. We added a smidgen of carbon fiber to the R6 and now I'm dying to keep the upgrades coming! When you keep getting compliments on your ride it's hard not to. Alex and his team do incredible work. The first time I went here I needed new brake pads on my FR-S done at the last minute before a long vacation drive. I heard about Alex at Fuzion Teknique from an internet forum for my car regarding trusted mechanics. He managed to get me in really quickly and get the brake pads changed for a reasonable price. More recently, I also needed to get a new clutch installed on my car and get the spark plugs changed. I sourced my own parts as I wanted to upgrade a few pieces from the standard clutch kit and he quoted me a good price for the labor alone. Got the car back and the clutch feels great. Got my HID bulbs installed here the other day, the Owner Alex was very accommodating. I pulled in and he said it would take about 40-45 minutes to finish. He got me in and out of there in about 40 minutes! I bought a single ballast 35w for $25.00 he was out of the 55w. I am not sure how much he charges for the 55w, but I will definitely look into that in the future! he does not tax if u pay cash, BUT if you pay with any card he charges taxes and a 12% fee. (NOT worth it! so BRING CASH!) I got a NEW ballast and a set of 12k HID bulbs for a total of $105.00 the bulbs come with a 2-year warranty! so does the ballast if you buy from him. My review is a little late, but returned here November-December to get my MXP Comp RS installed on my FRS and I honestly was amazed. I called ahead of time to let them know I was coming from San Diego for a catback install, as soon as I arrive I found out they didn't have power due to a blackout in the neighborhood. I've been to a few shops and mechanics to get regular maintenance & aftermarket parts and installation. So far Fuzion has become my go to. Alex (shop owner) is great! Very honest and reasonable! I would and I DO recommend him to all my friends. Prices for installation are very fair and he keeps you updates as things progress. I ordered some wheels from him and was a little, actually VERY concered since the shop that I went to before previously sold me wheels and pretty much screwed me over. I was sold wheels with an offset way too aggressive for my car even after questioning them multiple times... then they wouldn't take it back! You can imagine my "scars" and doubts for "raceshops" A good friend recemmended me to go to Alex. Alex TOLD me to trust him and i did! Boy am I glad. He asked me questions and we ordered the part. I told him to MAKE SURE it would fit with NO ISSUES.... It took a while to arrive (which is expected and explained as these came from Japan) but when they came in he notified me immediately.
