This lady here is so extremely grateful for a place that makes me feel secure and safe in my vehicle with my kiddos! Chris from here helped answer some questions, brought clarity to my concerns and helped this mama change out my battery while my hubby was out of town. I seriously am so impressed and grateful. Also- not all Autozones are alike. This one on North Escondido Blvd is top notch and didn't make me feel like an inconvenience. Chris- THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!! read more

my specific review goes out to an employee there that helped me with my car and even lended me some tools. Great customer service!

Pretty good experience. Nice employees. One of the busier AZ in Esco. Haven't had any issues yet.

Carlos G at this location is awesome! He helped me find the right parts I needed even looked at my car and kind of talked me through what I needed to purchase and gave me other locations that had a part this location didn't have. The music in this store is the greatest they have a welcoming ambience at this location everyone is friendly. read more

Went to look for a part and asked one of the worker the older guy with grey hair and he told us to check in a section of the parts but we already knew they weren't in that section they have them in the back and when we asked another guy for help, the guy who originally helped us mentioned to him that they didn't have that part, why would he tell us to check if they didn't have that part?? Make it make sense read more

so thankful for Adrian , I always go to this auto zone and they are always so helpful. Thank you auto zone for always being there for those men and women who need that little extra help. read more

Adrian at AutoZone was a lifesaver! I'm one of those women who rarely change my windshield wipers and of course the one time it rains in Southern California. My windshield wipers were awful. Went to AutoZone. Adrian rang me up. I asked if he could show me how to put them on, he put them on in the rain for me! He is my hero of the day. read more

Excellent service! Vince helped my mom change her windshield wipers and was very nice.

First off, this Auto Zone is in a bit of a sketchy area. It also smells horrible outside here, not sure why...smells like sewage. They also did not have what I needed although it said online they did. I needed a cutter strong enough for chains or bolts...basically anything to cut through metal and they only had wire cutters. What they did have in stock, however, was well organized and looked like high quality products. The employees were also nice and helpful. read more

I had a great experience at AutoZone. It was my first time here and I had a five star service! Vicente was very helpful and quick to assist. He is very patient and professional. He was able to answer all my questions and solved the concerns I had for my vehicle. He gave me the right information and was very friendly. I felt very comfortable with the service. read more

Received a call from the office that one of our company cars was vandalized overnight (some was stealing a tire and left the car sitting on the driver side drum. I was asked to stop and get 5 lugs on the way in that morning. I stopped in at Auto Zone in Escondido and they had them for me at a great price! Store wasn't real busy but the questions that can happen from customers can take a bit to answer or solve...so even though you are waiting for a while it's likely due more to the customer than the employees of A.Zone. But still you'd like to get helped a bit more efficiently than waiting fifteen minutes for lugs. But to have lugs in stock for the vehicle I we have is impressive to say the least. I docked them one star for the wait but I still recommend them. Store looks nicely organized. Maybe just need another person. Large parking lot so that also nice. read more

Of course my car dashboard light started flashing "low engine oil" while the husband was on an out of town business trip and my mechanic was already closed when I got off of work -So, I ended up here to SEE if I could "DIY" :) this dilemma. Thankfully Sam one of the managers did everything for me! To be honest I was dreading it! Wah!! I probably looked like a damsel in distress-but I'm sure every girl that walks in without a guy is! Haha :D -anyways Sam was friendly & professional despite of the 90 degree heat @ 7pm he still was so willing to help me. I could have just bought a quart of oil and went on my merry way- BuT Nooo.. he was asking if I knew what to do & with oil, funnel and some paper towel in hand he insisted to make sure It was done right! - Such a sigh of relief that there are still good people in this world who love there job -because it shows :) Thank you Sam for going above and beyond! Sam also asked if I recently got an oil change and it WAS a week/shy of a day- he said they probably may have mistakenly didn't put enough oil- well it happens - human error and I'm grateful that it was only just that. -Thanks again Sam happy that you saved me and gave me peace of mind. 5 stars! read more

I should have come here first! 2 other shops could not help me. Needed a part for my 2000 Lexus. Not only, did they have the part we needed, Luis and Chris put it on for us. They were very knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. Definitely will be a return customer. Meeting Luis and Chris, I can say Autozone should be very proud to have them on their staff. read more

All I gotta say is that if your planning to purchase a battery for you car, make sure they check if the battery is good to be used and make sure they show you that, because last Thursday they sell me a bad battery, the supervisor (that claimed to be the most knowledgeable) just used the jump started and told me I was good to go all that after 15 min of trying to turn on the car and getting frustrated. I believed that and left to get some lunch, and guess what... yup the car didn't turn on, I went back to the store just because my wife was on her day off lucky I had a back up vehicle. At the store they just gave me another battery and told me "just make sure you bring the battery back" and when I told them I had no tools to change it myself, they pretty much try to say "not my problem" ... the "supervisor" who "helped me" earlier that day said he was about to get off and promised to help me out so we exchanged numbers and stayed on touch but be never show up even after I called him and he said he was ( I was only 10 min away driving and I was planning to reward him with some cash), My wife, baby and I waited for 2 hours for someone that wasn't man enough to say something like "I won't make it" or simply not giving me his phone number anyway, Not the worst experience ever, but all that just because I didn't asked for a double check of the battery I purchased. Hope this helps someone. read more

Said Good morning, No response, 3 guys behind the counter and none of them showed any Interest to help us the only customers in the store I might add. Once at counter to make purchase there was more horrible customer service and no response when departing. Not helpful, very rude and I would recommend going to another branch if possible! read more

We came back and Ricky already left for the day. The other two guys were not helpful at all and they lacked customer service like they did not want to be bothered. We asked for a trash can to put the box in and they said no we don't have a trash can we just purchased the part and it was a small box. We didn't want to leave it on the ground. Wow. Ricky needs to train these two in customer service and knowledge of the job. Bring Ricky back. read more

I shop Auto Zone frequently, as I profess to be a shade tree mechanic. I shop their deals on oil and filters along with the other parts outlet that has a green logo. The staff here is friendly and welcoming, as well as being bilingual. This is a good thing, as it seems that my Latino brethren share a passion for fixing rather than replacing their cars. Nice touch Auto Zone. I will be back. read more

This location is the worst one out of all of them they are always lagging behind. I waited outside 15 min and had to leave because the manager can't wake up on time to open the store. Unacceptable I had a crew of 4 men and myself waiting for this store to open and had to go elsewhere because they were so late to open the store. Don't even bother calling they put you on hold and take forever to answer a question. Seems this store is always busy and understaffed. Just very upset at the fact that I had to pay men to wait for a late manager. Picture below of clock they open at 7:30 but no one in sight. read more

I was stuck with my kids outside Rubio's because my car turned off and would not turn back on. I had no one to come help so I called Auto Zone. Gerardo came to my car and helped with jump start. My car turned on so I was able to drive to Auto Zone where he tested my battery and offered advice on next steps. Gerardo, thank you so much for your help!!! I appreciate your patience when explaining possible causes for my battery issue and offering possible solutions! We would have been stuck at rubio's all day but we were able to go home after the jump start from Gerardo! You're a life saver read more

Daniel R. did an amazing job helping us out. Very friendly and explained everything about my battery replacement. Took his time to make sure everything was for my car model. He looked for the best deals and the best items to keep my car lasting. Very knowledgeable upon just looking into the car hood. Answered every question with all honesty. He did have to call a manager to have a second opinion. I appreciated that he was getting a second opinion rather than just continuing the job. Amazing job! read more

Drop by this morning to grab some tire shine and upon entering, I was greeted with a warm / cheerful good morning from Adrian. He also said to let him know if I needed an assist with anything. I thanked him & told him I knew exactly what I was there for & where it was. I grabbed the item & got in the checkout line. Within seconds, I was called to the register. The person who assisted me was also named Adrian ( Adrian G ) . What are the odds of that? Lol! He too was friendly, yet professional. Great team, great service! Thanks guys! read more

My experience was very similar to the other reviews on here. This place has the worse customer service of any business I have ever walked into. I could not find what I was looking for. I found one guy working the floor, he was involved in a conversation about a sports event coming up. I waited for a few minutes, obviously right in front of them waiting for the sports talk to end, finally butted in and asked if they carried what I was looking for. The guy said, "I don't know" and went right back to his other conversation. It is ok if he does not know, but I expected him to say let me find out or something.... nothing. Another guy was behind the counter, had a long line, asked him real quick and he sent me back to the other guy. This went on for 15 minutes, I walked out, went a little farther away to pep boys, walked in, was greeted by someone who asked if they could help me. They directed me right to the area, before I got there another employee asked me if I was finding everything I needed, and then made sure I found it. They were only 5 minutes away from Auto Zone...... now that's how you do business! read more

I had AMAZING service from the customer service TEAM at this location. They made sure not to sell me something that I don't need. I had both of my low beam headlights go out this morning when I was leaving the house for work. I arrived at this Autozone thinking that I had a fuse or relay problem. Israel G at this location really came through as a shining star and helped me. I couldn't get the fuse puller to work and he figured it out quickly and educated me that my fuses were actually still good because there was no shatter in the window of the fuse. He thought it over and suggested trying to switch out the hi beam relay that was working for the low beam relay and my hi beams worked both ways. He astutely diagnosed that the XL low lamps had both burned out at the same time. It's dark now and I was having to drive with my high beams on to get to this store. Now, because of Israel G and the other team members at this shop I'm able to get back on the road safely for $30 with my headlights working. I really appreciate that Israel G went above and beyond to help me feel safe getting back on the road. Thank you Israel G and Autozone customer service team! read more

I'll do the negative of it first, but then it is what it is...the line sometime are long and employees take awhile to get it moving. This review was due a year ago. Five Stars because I boycott O'Riely for not helping a lady like me to take out the battery and put in a new one that I bought from their store. They refuse to help and say they are busy and there was 1 person in back of me and so I had to do it myself being a tiny woman, begging for help as customer went in and out of their store. Instead I return O'Riely battery, hitch a ride to Autozone in Mira Mesa at the time and they lend me the tools to go back to get it out from where it was parked at O'Riely ( I don't care if I spelled their name wrong.) AUTOZONE at this location I had an incident with another car battery and since it was still under warranty, I received a new one without a problem and they went out and put it in for me! They also help me connect the new screws which was loose on top of that. Being a woman that means a lot when it comes to Auto customer service. I forgot my tech name but he was the best! I truly won't go anywhere else, the support and assistant woman get from Autozone really is the best customer's service one can only get with Autozone. Thank you! read more

Daniel has excellent customer service skills! I was in and out super quick, he helped with picking a battery for my car and installing it for me. He was very informative and polite. Give Daniel a raise because I don't always get that when going to autozone! read more

Wish I didn't have to give them 1 star . Worse auto zone don't go here . The girl that works there thinks she can just put people on hold for 20 mins and not answer the phone . Then when I call on a different line the guy who answers says they don't sell my battery and I would have to go to a dealership. I called a different autozone down the street and they helped me with everything . Don't waste your time with this scum bag autozone go elsewhere . read more

I called twice to ask if they had a part I needed. I was placed on hold the first time before I could even ask the question and I hung up after about 15 minutes on hold. I tried again and someone answered, said hello placed me on hold again. I waited about 10 minutes this time and just ended up hanging up again. read more
