My fiancé and I visited this location on a Sunday evening to purchase a new battery for his car…read more After waiting a few minutes for the cashier to finish helping a customer, we were quickly helped and able to purchase the battery. We decided to switch the battery in the parking lot, and they let us use a few of their tools to do this. We were also able to not pay the money for the core of the old battery, as we were able to return it right away. There was some corrosion on the old battery and it wasn't coming apart easily. Ellie was very helpful and came out to lend us a hand. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. The next time we need anything for either of our cars we will definitely return here.

Exceptional service from Ft. Mitchell Garage. I brought my car in with a severely rusted suspension…read morethat required a full replacement--no small or inexpensive repair. Ron handled everything with professionalism, transparency, and real expertise from start to finish. Even when parts availability became an issue, he took the time to explain the situation and ensured a safe, reliable solution rather than rushing the job or cutting corners. That level of care and accountability is rare. What truly set this experience apart was how I was treated. As a woman, I was met with straightforward honesty and respect--no talking down, no pressure--just clear, professional service exactly as it should be. As a 4th-generation, locally owned business, Ft. Mitchell Garage represents the best of what "shop local" should mean: quality work, integrity, and pride in what they do. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

The car has very low miles so I did not think a new clutch was needed but had no idea what else it could be. I took it to the local dealer (twice) and they couldn't ID the issue. The first time they flushed/refilled the hydraulic fluid which was pretty dirty. It helped but didn't cure the problem. The next time, they couldn't find the issue but gave me a $6000 estimate for a new clutch. That seemed way out of line so I went to Ft Mitchell Garage. They ran through all the diagnostics and then multiple people drive the car . Finally on one of the drives, Ron experienced the problem . They ended up simply lubricating the gears. It cost $237 not $6000!
