GHETTO HOT MESS; I've been in a customer for Autozone for years and since when Autozone for you to take out your own car battery and what's crazy is the same battery im trying to change is the exact battery that someone in their staff put in my car so not only did the employee gave me to the tool to take my battery out by myself and when i ask to speak to a manager the employee said he on lunch and then say "Oh we can take the battery out the car but the mechanic going to charge extra" so what is it you do or you don't ??????? So I have a warranty for my battery, came in to get it exchanged like I paid for, Geraldo gave me the run around... Didn't want to keep the agreement I paid for... I left my battery to get charged... supposedly, I go back for it and it seems they forgot... gave me the same eta that I got when I first got there... Came here to buy new wiper blades. Highly satisfied with the customer service that Vincent Romero provided. He suggested the right equipment and offered and installed it himself in the pouring rain. Offered to tip him for his above and beyond service but refused, maybe company policy? Who knows? Felt like Vincent was a genuine guy who really cares for customer satisfaction. I called for a Stock check &woman placed me on hold 9 minutes . When I walked in the actual store still on hold I saw four employees gathered around talking and a woman as well . The associate finally checked for the items I was looking for . Only one item was in stock. I wish they would have been faster on the phone to avoid going to this autozone . I usually shop here and have dealt with their bad customer service because it's near my home. I will no longer go there because they wouldn't refund my purchase of a faulty sensor that Toyota dealership confirmed was bad. I had originally bought the air fuel sensor and installed myself, when the code came back and I tested the sensors resistance, it failed so I had it replaced under warranty, after 2 more failed sensors, I took it to the toyota dealership so they can check and diagnose it. They confirmed that the sensor failed again. They replaced with a Toyota sensor and code didn't come back. I took it back to this autozone for a refund, even brought the dealership technician notes on the receipt saying it was the sensor. They offered me store credit which was not what I wanted. Keep in mind I had bought and swapped the sensor 3 times within less than 2 months. The store manager wouldn't even come out to talk to me. Went to another autozone where they gave me the refund without hassle. The autozone that gave me my refund said the Compton location does that with a lot of their customers, which is to send refund customers to other locations. Well done Compton location, you've lost me as a customer. read more

This place saved me!!!! I ran here after having a horrible experience at the Autozone in Lakewood. Not only was each worker very helpful, they were also so happy & charismatic. I went in there feeling defeated and an amazing worker by the name of Miguel L.assistant completely. Not only was he able to return the faulty coolant, he went above and beyond to assist me on putting the coolant in my car and getting me my refund for the bottle. The staff is amazing there and if you ever walk in and need help you can count on them, specially Miguel! I left super content with getting this simple thing fixed. Who knew that doing your job and adding kindness would work huh? Love this place! Will definitely come back again read more

Came into the store to see if they can check out my battery while its still in the car because i had some issues 30 min before coming. I was refused the service because it was "late" and it was only 6:30pm. Nowhere online or in the store did I see a time for you guys to stop this service or anything. I was denied help under lack of understanding and good customer service. I usually come to Autozone for help and I have to come to this one because how close it is but now Im being denied a service that I really needed because the person just didn't want to do it. Worst experience and customer service. Update 30 min Later: My battery just died on me so I was not helped and placed in a dangerous situation because no one could bother to check my battery. read more

Bad customer service! I ordered a fuel pump and they gave me a date and time so I can pick up at the store. I go in and the employee says it has not arrived yet that maybe it will arrive later in the day. So I decide to wait until the next day morning, I called and they said it hasn't arrived still. I go in the store and let them know I had called and they said my part hasn't arrived and wanted to know what was going on so the employee being rude and with an attitude replies "nobody said the part hasn't arrived yet but let me check" mind you the manager is standing right next to this employee and does not say a thing. At this point I get frustrated and I just let the employee know I don't want them to check I just want to cancel my order and get my money back. Not one apology whatsoever! Never going back to this auto zone!!! read more

I am very displeased to say that this Auto Zone disappointed me, my husband and I needed to pick up parts and there closing hours are at 9pm which states in their business hours however when I decided to come in a couple minutes before 9pm the door was locked and when I did knock on the window one of the managers wearing a gray shirt said they were close. I am very upset because I got sent to this location recommended by a friend who is a long time customer and the fact that they closed their business a couple minutes earlier was very inconvenient.
