He didn't say much but I was monitoring progress through a link they sent you. Around 5:30-6 pm that night I realized no one had called me to provide an estimate. When I called, they told me it wasn't even looked at and the A/C technician can't look at it until the next week. Raul didn't communicate any of this. Jose (the assistant manager) worked with me from that point providing solutions and working towards getting my car repair. Jose really was helpful, thoughtful, and solutions oriented. They ended up working with me to get my car to the Skokie location for the repair (will review that location separately). Jose kept me updated and followed through consistently. I believe this location can definitely be more stars but my experience didn't warrant that. Problem one is that if the only appointment system is not reliable or accurate for consumers, fix it or stop using it. Problem two is that Raul, the manager, didn't communicate any expectations despite knowing they didn't have a technician to do the work quickly. Problem three they had another employee call me with an estimate that was incorrect even though the machine to assess my A/C needed repair. Right now, Jose is the highlight and really worked hard to make this situation right. Thank you.

I was really upset and worried that the car would not look the same looked as when I first bought it, especially regarding the color matching. They sent me to this place. I called them 2 days prior to my drop-off date just to make sure Progressive sent them all my information. The receptionist who picked up the phone was so kind and helpful. I dropped my car off on a Monday. Their office is really clean and looked very professional. I was helped right away by the receptionist. She was very welcoming. I was then seen by Robert, who took a look at my car to see what was damaged. The drop off process was pretty easy and didn't take up alot of my time. The following day, they left me a voicemail regarding the cost of the damage. I'm happy that my car was looked at the following day in a timely manner. I didn't owe anything since Progressive was handling everything. I was able to pick my car up the following Tuesday. Pick up was just as easy as drop off! You just sign some papers and they pull your car out for you so you can be on your way. Robert was the one who brought out my car. It looked like nothing ever happened, I am very happy with the job they did! And you can tell they washed my car too. I'm just happy to have my baby back.

Crash Champions--Montrose was able to give me an estimate and get my front end collision repaired a…read moreweek or two more quickly than the other body shops I contacted. The front end damage and body work/paint appears to have been done well. However, there were a few relatively minor issues. When the car was returned, there were adhesive tape marks on the paint where the fenders had been masked for painting; these were able to be rubbed off. They also misplaced the console cover for the transmission lock release; they were able to replace it when I went back. More significantly, they had replaced the windshield washer reservoir but failed to fill it before returning the car to me. When I filled it, the dashboard light came on indicating the reservoir was empty! After returning the car to them to fix this, they were unable to fix it and asked me to take it to the car dealer to repair. The dealer was able to fix the problem and determined that they had used the wrong sensor part--an aftermarket part--and had used an aftermarket wiring harness as well, although the Crash Champions invoice had charged for OEM parts. Finally, when I asked that the invoice be emailed to me, I was first sent the invoice for another customer, then a blank file attachment, before I finally was sent the correct copy of the invoice. Overall, it was a long and frustrating experience over these issues.

They broke the oil pan access shield, my son went right back as soon as they opened but the manager only wanted to give him a discount for a future service (like we would EVER go back). They told him to call customer service. Still has never received a call back. I then called customer service and the lady told me they can't do anything as it is up to the owner/manager if they want to fix the issue. They only tell you to call customer service so it seems like they want to help when they know they aren't going to. I bought the piece and had it installed at my dealer. I offered to have them reimburse me at my discounted price but the owner still insists they never touched it. If that's the truth then they didn't change the oil. I have been in the automotive business for 47 years, 25 of those at Honda. The 2014 CRV has had plenty of oil changes without issue. You have to drop the oil drain pan access lid in the shield to drain the oil. If they insist they didn't touch it they either didn't change the oil or they dropped the whole shield. In either case they did not resecure it correctly and it dropped and got destroyed while my son was driving. They still refuse to fix their mistake and cover the cost of the part. It happens, it's happened at the dealer too. The only difference is we fix it for the customer, not lie and refuse to fix the mistake. My advice is to avoid this place at all costs and for the price they charged for the oil change the dealer is actually cheaper and will do a better job.
