This middle score pretty much sums up my recent visits to the Division st. location of Autozone. First visit, I ordered online to pick up, and the young gentleman, perhaps new and/or inexperienced, seemed confused and looked for the 2 items in the store. It's my first time ordering online to pick up with Autozone, so I figured that was odd that he had to look for the items. I may as well as not ordered in advance... But whatever, that was fine, I got my stuff. Later found out he gave me one incorrect item (smaller size) so I went back, a different young man helped me, and was very efficient and courteous, found the correct item and all was well.
Third visit, the lady who helped me was very courteous, found the part for me, and held it until I was finished shopping. When I was ready to check out, a different man helped me, and out of all the people I've encountered, was least friendly. I asked about a flexible funnel, and he walked me to where one was located, it wasn't the right fit, so we walked back to the cashier's desk to check out. Sure, he 'did his job,' but gave off the vibe that I was wasting his time. Hard to describe, but you just know it when it's happening to you. He was either having a bad day, or whatever, but didn't seem to appreciate my business.
With so much competition out there for auto parts, you'd think all employees can show just a tiny bit of friendliness or courtesy when a customer is purchasing from them.
AZ used to be my default go to place for parts, but after this experience, I may give other companies a try. read more
