I've never been to an auto parts store with people who have absolutely no idea what they are doing or where things are. I asked where decal remover was and all I was told was "aisle 2" and if it wasn't there, I could talk to a manger because he knows where things are, as apparently the counterman doesn't know. I had looked and said I didn't see any there, then the gentleman said once again I could ask the manager where it was as he said "he doesn't even know what he's looking for" . I'm not sure if he was new or not, but i feel very underwhelmed by my experience at this store. Napa will be getting my business from now on. read more

As someone who does a lot of my own auto maintenance I've been using various parts stores for years, but because most were out of our small town I was very happy when AutoZone built a store within a mile of my home. Having used other AutoZone stores before, my expectations were high, and the Allendale AutoZone has not disappointed me. I've now used this location more than half a dozen times; every time they acknowledged me and offered to help as soon as I walked in the door, the staff and Manager have been polite, competent and helpful, and they have *always* had what I needed in stock, usually with options. Although they've made suggestions when a better (in some way) product was available, they've never pressured me, and in those cases where I've decided to purchase the better product, I haven't regretted it. My only issue with AutoZone in Allendale is that they're trying to make me lazy - as I said, I do much of my own maintenance, but they always offer to install such things as headlights and wiper blades for me, for free, and I have to admit I've let that happen once or twice. Bottom line: the Allendale AutoZone has earned my business, my respect, and now my recommendation. read more

I went to the allendale auto zone and had probably one of the worest exsperiences i usually choose auto zone over any other auto store but that wont be the case anymore when i had first went in to buy the part i needed for my car first off the manager im assuming is the one who checked me out he was absolutly terible to his employees then failed to tell me the part i was buying was uneversal not specific to my vehical which is a hassle in it own so i spent a day trying to fix my car with this part that didnt even fit so i took it back the next day and instead of helping me figure out how we could get it fixed all they did was return it while i stood their crying still didnt even try to help with the situation and when i left the store nobody even said have a nice day or thanks for stopping in so i give this auto zone one star because i couldnt give them a zero and i will never go to auto zone again!! read more
