Then returned it to me with an obvious coolant leak. Within 100 miles after their repairs, I had a check engine light on and found that they smashed a connector together, bending the pins, and had to pay someone else to fix it. The service manager said he "would get back in touch with me", but never did. They are okay for tires and batteries, but if you need anything complex or involving them touching your engine, go elsewhere.

After calling Great Lakes Ford, we decided to get it fixed right this time. We had it towed to Great Lakes and they diagnosed the problems as to what was causing the repeat starting issues. They had to order a part, and as soon as they could get it on their schedule got our truck repaired. It was a big relief to have this specific problem diagnosed correctly finally as we have to take this truck back to CA. Shuttle service they offer was really appreciated as well.

Not only is their work always immaculate but it also always reasonable priced. I have no problem trusting my vehicles with them. Nor have they ever tried exploiting my limited car knowledge to extract money from me. I have two luxury vehicles(Infiniti Qx56 and Cadillac Escalade) the maintenance on these vehicles can be outrageous at times. I've taken them to their respective dealerships to get issues checked and been told multiple times, well this needs to done, that needs tuning always major issues that need immediate attention. Then I take them to Steve for another opinion and he gives it to me straight. 'No, you don't need all that work. You may need a little of this or that nothing like the dealer says.' Every time Steve or John correct the issue, saving me $100s of dollars and never try to take advantage. Just recently the Infiniti was there for a oil change. Previously we were told about loose parts on the front wheels. They advised to get it fixed, estimated cost almost $800. Steve took the truck in looked it over and said that issues isn't there anymore. You don't need that work done. Like I said earlier I trust them wholeheartedly and was ready to pay that. Steve could have lied and took my money but he didn't. They are truly honest, ethical and trustworthy. Businesses, people like this are rare and deserve all the business they can stand. That is why I've been taking my vehicles here for close to 20 years and will continue to as long as their in business.

Because we were 600 miles away from the dealership we went ahead and made plans to have a certified RV inspector to inspect the RV for us. The dealership made it very easy for the inspector to come and do his inspection. When the girl in the collision shop was checking my vehicle over she noticed it was an accessible vehicle (converted in the rear for my daughter's wheelchair). She asked me about it and if I had rental insurance. I told her that the conversion is for my daughter, its the only way I can transport her. I told her I have rental on my insurance but it only covers a small sedan but we can make it work, we always do. She asked me where you rent converted vehicles and I told her I always do business with The Creative Mobility Group in Byron Center. At that time she told me "We'll cover the extra rental fees". I was shocked. I knew that was at least $100 a day they were offering to pay. I assured her that we could make it work without a converted van (I just wouldn't be able to bring my daughter anywhere for the week, but we could manage just fine) and she insisted on helping us out and paying that extra fee for us. They ended up having our vehicle for 5 days and they paid the extra fees for the van. They did NOT have to do that and I didn't even ask. They saw a need and they went above and beyond to help make sure my daughter could be transported if need be. I will always use Preferred Ram Chrysler Jeep Dodge on Henry street for any of our repairs, etc. They have always done good by us but this was beyond what they had to do.
