Again, another good repair…read more They replaced the A/C compressor in my old Ford pickup (with almost 300,000 miles on it) a couple of weeks ago. It worked well, then one day, no cooling.... I took the pickup back for a re-check. They found a leak on the new installation, replaced "O" rings, checked and re-charged the system. The pickup was in and out of the shop quickly. I was driving from Merced to Las Vegas when something told me I should stop and get my oil changed. When I pulled into another shop, they told me they couldn't do the oil change because my car had an active coolant leak. At that point, I was in Bakersfield, hours away from home and still hours away from my destination. As a woman traveling alone, I was honestly scared and worried that something was seriously wrong with my car. Thankfully, I found this shop. David took the time to listen to what was going on and immediately wanted to help. Even though they were busy, he understood my situation and didn't just treat me like another customer. He genuinely cared. That meant a lot to me, especially being so far away from home and not knowing what was wrong with my car. After taking a look, they found that my radiator cap was broken and causing the leak. They replaced it, and just like that, the problem was solved. The relief I felt in that moment was huge.
