These fine gentlemen at River Auto took care of me. My radiator suffered a major crack and my car was overheating. I pulled into their lot with no phone call or warning. Despite already working on a full garage they were able to diagnose and give me an estimate quickly. They ordered a radiator that day and it was in there within the hour. As soon as I give the green light they immediately go to work. I got same day service at an amazing price and quality honest work. Just came back not happy at all....first went 2 days ago and was quoted a certain amount then when I showed up the price went way up I believe a business run this way is not good for customers service ... they kne exactly what truck I was bringing and what the problem was but when I get there to get the work done now the price went way up .... no thanks. I just took it to another shop. They were willing to do it cheaper and quicker so this place is run by a bunch of know what they're doing. Be careful with this mechanic shop!!! Took my car (Acura 2007) for a leak repair. The mechanics inspected the car for like an hour and said that the leak "might" be coming from the velve cover head gasket, and power steering pump. I went ahead and did the job only to find out that wasn't the issue and that's not where the leak was coming from. I took it in the next Monday and they put it on a lifter for like 2 hours which they didn't do the first time ,"playing the inspection part" just to tell me they "think" it's coming from the behind the transmission and for that it would be a big job costing around 1500$ after me paying 700$ for unnecessary repairs prior, keep in mind they were not sure about where the leak is coming from but they suggested that job to be done. Either This shop was guessing the entire time or they were willingly selling me unnecessary jobs because I took it to another shop and they said the leak was coming from behind the timing belt rear seal, they showed me within 30min that was the case!! And it was so obvious that the leak was coming from there when they showed me. I understand that there is good reviews on river auto shop and that's why I chose river auto shop but I do believe most of the reviews are fake and I will never go back there!! They even offered to buy my car from me and I don't blame them as it's in very very very good condition. I do believe they wanted me to give up on the car and make an offer to me. Robbing me for my money, and time. Note: I am disabled, right leg amputated and trust me. They did not care about my situation. So be very careful with this shop and I advise you to go get a second opinion from a different auto shop before doing the work they suggest. read more

These guys are truly the best and most honest mechanics you will find in town. I was so lucky to have stubbled on to their repair shop as i was driving trying to find the lowest cost shop to repair my blown head gasket. I stop and spoke with the Jr. for a quote and he could not give me an exact amount but gave me a high estimate. I was thinking the worst, but they ended up replacing the HG and all that they could get to around the area of repair, except the radiator and ended up charging me alot less. Since then and from speaking with other customers...i knew these guys are legit. They will not charge u a penny more than what the job calls for. In fact they will help you in every way to not have to spend more and will take there time to make sure it is done right. Warranty you ask? I guess it it depends on the job or part but i got 6 months for mine. You can rest assured if its still not fix, they will take the time to go over it again. They are honest to goodness...the best guys to work with. Wouldn't go anywhere else. read more
