Paid 40 bucks for a half @ss wash at best. They pulled my car up 10 min after I got there during a busy time. My car was still dirty. It's like they just sprayed water on it and wiped the dirt around. My windows look like they were cleaned with a dirty towel. I was so focused on the dirt all over the car I forgot to look at the wheels til I got home. There was no tire dressing on any of them. And still covered in dirt. Just as good, if not better (& CHEAPER) than Corwood's... Primary differences? Pulling into Corwood's reminds me of how an abandoned, run-down lot would look during a zombie apocalypse. Swung by Autopia on a telecommute day to give the commuter some love... Hand wax @ Corwood's was quoted as $65. Autopia? $49! I'm there! Located in a relatively convenient location (Corner of Dublin Blvd & Village Pkwy) & near the on-ramp to 680N. They weren't very busy when I arrived, though I'm uncertain as to whether the good word has yet been spread... Pulled up to a friendly greeting at the entrance of the car-wash, then walked into yet another friendly greeting (& salesperson) in the Air-Conditioned cashier's area/booth. VIP btw for Autopia is in regards to the VIP membership packages. They offer Gold & Silver memberships for UNLIMITED monthly washes, starting at $39.95 for Silver "Super Washes", Mon-Thursday, or Gold, "Works Washes", 7-Days a week for $49.95. The wife washes her car at least once a week & this membership would've paid for itself after 2 washes! Though the deals piqued my interest, I figured I'd better see the finished product first before I commit... Walked over to the shaded waiting area (unlike the concrete sun-bathing/seating area at Corwood's) & sat patiently for my car to pop out the other side... Speaking of POP... As I was browsing the membership pamphlets, I heard something inside of the car-wash smash into the tinted glass of the building. Peering through the window, I see 2 employees getting all WWE inside the wash. They were relentless, slamming each other into the window & attempting take-downs, up until the car damn near ran them over on the conveyor. Obviously bored out of their minds & were trying to kill time, but a "tad bit" unprofessional... When the car exited the wash however, these same individuals dried & cleaned the hell out of the car... I haven't seen the rims this clean in YEARS... They did an excellent job inside & out, so I'll let their steel cage match inside the wash area slide for now... I was very impressed with the job (considering the budget pricing) & am definitely planning on signing up for one of their monthly membership plans... One thing to keep in mind though; yes, washes are unlimited BUT, memberships are tied to a SINGLE vehicle... 2 cars = 2 memberships... Still a very good deal regardless & beats the hell out of ever going back to Corwood's. Not that Corwood's is bad, but their facility needs a MAJOR makeover to justify their rip-off pricing. If you're planning on killing two birds with one stone however, (i.e., carwash & free sunglass tan), then by all means go to Corwood's... Just be sure to wear your sunscreen, hydrate, grab a comfy donut pillow for your ass & maybe a misting fan to keep you cool as you wait an hour for your car to finish... Me on the other hand? This car wash used to do an amazing job. I would bring both my Dodge Challenger and Toyota Rav 4 there at least once a month. The last three times I went, I thought it might have just been a fluke with their service. I even got their full detailing done and it was absolutely horrible. Dust still on my dash, windows had smudges, my side mirrors weren't even touched, and there was extremely visible dirt all around my car. I spent a good chunk of change for something my child could have done. I thought, you know what, maybe that last experience was just a mistake. Maybe it was a bad group cleaning the car. Maybe I can give them one last try.. false. Just got back. These guys are terrible. I am going to have to go get it washed again by somebody else! Now my 30 dollar car wash is going to cost me 60! And I always tip these guys very well. Sad. They pay no attention to detail and don't even care what kind of job they do. Fast and reliable car wash. I've been looking for a car wash spot for the last month or two and finally found the place I would keep coming back to. I'm a regular customer of the Livermore location and am happy to see them in Dublin. If you're on a monthly plan (as I am) with Autopia, you can use any of the locations. That means I'll probably sneak in an extra wash or two every month making the monthly plan an even better deal. I'll point out that the one time I went to the place down the street (Dublin and SVR), he charged me extra for an oversized vehicle for a Ford Escape. Courteous service, good attention to detail, a great seating area in a convenient location right off of 680 and also near 580. read more

Average car wash at best. Sometimes they will do a decent job and get between cracks, etc - other times they do a rush job and it's obvious they missed a bunch of areas. They keep raising their prices but the quality of service and attention to detail is lacking. I have a Toyota Highlander and never was up charged $3 for an "oversized vehicle." The last few times I went they randomly added the $3 up charge without saying anything. Seems like it depends who is working at the computer when arriving to check in? Either way, feels a little shady for what you get in the end. read more

I went quite early on a sunday and the wait was about 35 mins. start to finish. And I think thats pretty quick for this busy location. It was a decent wash job, only negative thing was somehow my rims came out still pretty dirty. I dont think they did the second level of 'wipe-the-rims-clean-by-hand'. I'm surprised to see such a mix of reviews for Autopia** My boyfriend and I were really happy when they decided to open a location in Dublin and are big fans! Even when the lines are long, I feel like I can get in and out pretty quickly. The staff is super friendly! They do all types of rewards/value programs (like a flat fee for unlimited washes during the month, or every 10th wash is free). Even if you're paying full price it's not very expensive (around $25). And they do a good job! **I'm noticing a lot of the people who gave this place a bad review are people who haven't written many reviews total (less than 10 for most) which makes me think they are the type who ONLY focus on the bad and give one star for the sake of giving one star** read more

To start with the good- my car is cleaner than it has been in years!! The customer service was friendly, and they took me filthy car late in the day and yet still got a full detail done before closing Now, the bad. They took out my car charger and the adapter for it and forgot to put it back, so I had to make a return to to get it. They also removed my emergency / first aid kit, and lost it. To be fair, it was just in a zip lock bag, and they probably thought it was full of garbage and threw it away... But still. That was about $50 of good emergency stuff! And I've never gotten my car detailed before, so maybe this all is normal, but here are some other things I'm not happy with- the car seats and carpet are soaked. It's been 2 days, and they're still getting the towels wet that we put down to sit on. It smells very strongly. Not necessarily a bad smell. It's a very clean smell. Just very strong. And I don't know they used, but every non cloth surface has this residue on it that feels terrible- kind of sticky and slimy and gross. It sticks to your hands, and makes everything slippery. The door handles, the doors themselves, the floor board, the buttons... And the steering wheel, which I feel is actually dangerous. I'm wearing gloves to drive for now so I get some grip on the wheel, and also to keep that stuff off my hands. So like I said, maybe that's normal for a car detail. But I'm still taking some stars off for needing to go back to get my stuff, and also for them losing some of my stuff. Especially since I asked when I dropped the car off with them if I should take it with me, and they said no, it'd be fine! And then, when he couldn't find it, he didn't offer any compensation or anything. read more

Normally I keep my car pretty clean but with all the extra hours I've been working I felt like my interior need a little TLC. Are used to go to classic car wash in San Jose and then Hayward car wash when I lived in Hayward. Both of which are unbelievable values and I couldn't be happier with the service. So naturally I would think that going to the local car wash I would get the same kind of quality service. I cannot tell you how mad I am right now after spending $70 plus tip of five dollars. After getting into my car and getting ready to drive away, I noticed that my interior was still dirty! I got out I went to let them know that I paid for the interior service and my car is still messy. The manager I spoke to said that my service only included the dash and doors. I pointed out the seats and the crumbs that were still all over them and showed him my windshield which had smudges and swirls all over it. The response I got was, this is an interior treatment not a detailing service. So rather than spend the extra one minute it would have taken to fix the issues that I had with my car, I was told that this was acceptable for what I had paid. Are used to spend $40 a month at Hayward car wash For unlimited exterior service and would tip five dollars every time. About once a month I would get the interior service done... Another $30. And two times a year I would get the clay bar exterior treatment. This is roughly $1000 a year. I will never spend another penny with Autopia. Stay far far away from this place! I paid $30 to have my car cleaned here and boy was that a mistake. They initial greeter was friendly, however the workers cleaning my car got done in roughly 10-15 minutes and when I went to inspect saw multiple areas that needed attention. One of which was a huge black scratch on my interior leather seat. When I pointed it out they immediately dismissed the scratch and said it wasn't them. They wiped it down with some cleaner that made the color appear worse. I spoke with the supervisor on duty, Erik, who gave the phone number of two managers who have avoided my repeated calls at all costs. Very unprofessional staff. Steer clear big tuna. Head for open water. This is a crap operation. For $26 I had them wash my suv. Within 12-13 mins they were done. I figured wow. Efficient. Or a shitty job. It was the worst. I pointed out 5-6 areas that still had tree sap and was still wet. He rolled his eyes like a 6th grader and wiped it. Then he just started to walk away. I said uh do you even want my $5 tip? He comes back and GRABS it from my hand. The nerve. Then I walk around to the front and there is a stick residue on my a-pillar and fender. I take a rag they have and start cleaning it off and drying my own car. For about 10 good minutes. No one came over to ask if it went well or what's wrong. So fine. I'll take my money elsewhere. I hope you continue to give poor service and not listen to your customers. I'm sure we can use that corner lot for a new in n out burger. I highly advise against them. Go somewhere else. The worst car wash place ever!!! After paying for $65 for exterior and interior cleaning, when we got the car we hv to call the cleaner again to vacuum the seats at the back as they did not vacuum it. Then, when we drove off and parked the car at a gas station, the original floor may at the passenger at the back of the driver seat was not placed properly. When we lifted it to put it back properly, only to find out that the dirt was covered by the mat. The rear view mirror was not even wiped. The guy whom we called to revs I'm the back seat, we also asked him to vacuum the side of the carpet but he just ignored us and left. I pay the monthly VIP for the car wash at Autopia. Out of the Fremont, Newark and Dublin car wash locations - the Dublin one is the worst. They do not clean inside your car!!! The VIP package I have is the highest one and this place does not do what we pay for as a customer. read more

Worth the $ if your time is more important! I was looking for a car wash on my way to the Bay and saw Autopia Car Wash on the map so I decided to try it. The location is great as it's right off the intersection of the 580 and 680 freeways. I drove up last Sunday around 9:30am and was the 5th car in line so I planned on being there around 45 minutes. I got to the attendant to look at the services and saw that the cheapest wash was $27.95 - I was shocked! But I was there and it had been 6 weeks since my last wash so I went for it. I paid then sat on the patio and a few minutes later saw my car come out of the wash. Once parked, I saw at least 3 employees get to work on my car! They dried, they vacuumed, wiped the dash, cleaned my tires, and not even 20 minutes after I arrived I was done! The car was spotless and smelled so clean inside. In conclusion, if you're in a hurry or you just really value your time then pay the extra money and get your car washed here! read more

I paid for a membership here and came twice a week. And my car was never cleaned correctly. After two months of consistent lack of attention to the simplest details: Used wrong towel to clean window..every time, Always had greasy streaks inside and out. Hand prints from staff leaning on car after cleaning a spot. Dust on half my dash. And scratches on the plexiglass on my speedometer display... YOU'RE USING A MICROFIBER TOWEL! And even when a manager called me after three weeks of my membership to see how satisfied I was, I expressed my concerns and he said "oh okay. Thank you for your membership. Maybe next time we'll get it right". Right on! As soon as my Two months of required membership terms, I canceled it. Never will I go there again. read more

My first time being here, prices were decent but there is a $3 charge for trucks and oversized vehicles. The staff is friendly and helpful. They did a pretty good job washing my car. The reason I give them a 4 out of 5 is that if you are picky and detailed oriented then you might not be completely satisfied. I like this place the man who dose the I Initial intake of the cars is very pleasant and explains the options well. The ladies behind the desk inside not always so nice ( one in particular when she's there watch out lol ) but overall it's a good wash job. The clay bar wax really made my car look amazing! But I'm saddened because they will soon (in two weeks) NO LONGER OFFER HANDWASHING!! I have used this car wash three times now. First time was great. Second and third time not so much. The problem is they leave your car sitting in the sun for 10 to 15 minutes with the result being extensive water spotting. I had to have the supervisor wipe the whole exterior down again! read more

DO NOT GET YOUR CAR WASHED HERE!!! This evening I discovered that my DSLR Canon camera and equipment was stolen from the trunk of my car; it's all kept in a small carrying bag. Other then myself, this is the only establishment that has access to my vehicle (I get my car washed here on a monthly basis) as we obviously turn over our keys to them so that they can conduct the service on the vehicle. Got my car washed 2 days ago, went in my trunk this afternoon to pack my camera for a weekend trip and it was gone. Disgusting. $41 carwash. Did not even attempt to remove bugs still all over the grill and headlights. The wheels were horribly done. These aren't complex wheels with tiny holes, no. Big spokes and they could hardly be bothered to wipe the rim all the way around. They washed maybe 65% of each wheel and then to top it off they sprayed SO much tire conditioner on that it was dripping and not even wiped in evenly to the sidewall. No, I drive a truck, this resulted in tire goop all up and down my clean sides (the only part of the truck that was clean actually). They couldn't be bothered to rinse dirt and leaves out of my bed, and the armorall conditioner they applied to the plastic trim they also soaked my sandpaper textured running boards with. The first step I took to get into and out of my truck I nearly ate $#!+ twice because of how slippery they are now. I didn't even pay for this carwash using a giftcard and I'm pretty upset about it. I'm going to have to completely re-wash my truck just to keep it from splattering more goop and dirt from the tires and make the runningboards safe to use again. Utterly complete waste of time and money. Avoid this scam. Lazy and unprofessional. read more

They told me it's been cancelled. Come to find out they stopped charging me for a month and restarted charging me for the last 8 months. I called today and all they said is a manager will call me..
