I was expecting the dealership to do a good service since they carry both the Autonation and Honda name. I didnt notice anything wrong with the service that they performed on my vehicles the day of the service, they reset the service required message on the dashboard, they suggested the required services, and the service advisor even gave me a discount on the additional recommended services for my Honda HR-V and found that I still had a free service for the Honda Civic. I did find it strange though that when the services were done the service advisor gave me the service forms for the Honda HR-V that I paid for but didnt give me any service forms for the Honda Civic (which was free), when I asked him about the forms for the Honda Civic he said that they would be sent to my email (they were never sent to my email). Two weeks later my mom was driving around in the Honda Civic and the metal splash guard from the Honda Civic falls off while shes driving home from the bank and she has the scare of her life when it starts to make a rattling sound scraping the road along the drive home. It looks like whoever performed the service on the two vehicles never properly tightened the bolts back on the splash guard after they performed the oil change on the Honda Civic and part of the splash guard came loose while driving. I tried to call the dealership to ask them what we could do about the situation but the phone number for the dealership just goes to an automated system with different menu options and when you choose the menu option to speak to a service advisor the phone rings a few times and then just takes you in circles back to the main menu when nobody picks up the phone. I am very disappointed with Autonation Honda.

However, I wanted to share a concern about the customer service I experienced during our visit. While my parents were outside looking at cars with a salesperson, I went inside with my young daughter because I was feeling tired. I am currently 7 months pregnant, so I simply asked one of the staff members if I could have a bottle of water. He told me I could either purchase one from the vending machine or walk a considerable distance to where the mechanics were to get free water. I was honestly surprised by this response. Offering something as basic as water--especially to a pregnant customer--seems like a small but important gesture of hospitality. What stood out even more was being told that only the salesperson assisting us could provide a "free water bottle" as part of a "personalized experience." I understand every business has its policies, but this interaction felt lacking in basic care and consideration. I would strongly suggest making water more accessible to customers inside the showroom, whether through a dispenser or complimentary bottles.

"I think the people who work there they're very good in customer services Your review Roberto F Lopez Local Guide · 19 reviews · 3 photos Edited 3 days ago New THE WORST service I ever received. They took their time to fix the car and after charging an uncomprehensive and RIDICULOUS amount of money the Requires Maintenance light went on! RIDICULOUS!- NOT RECOMMENDED THEIR BODYSHOP AT ALL ! I was recommended to contact the bodyshop manager!-After leaving negative reviews, I was advised by your dealership to contact the manager directly. I am doing so because what happened with my vehicle is far beyond a simple case of dissatisfaction. It reflects a serious failure in customer service, communication, accountability, and, most importantly, the quality of the work performed. Frankly, I do not want to waste any more of my time, nor yours. However, I believe you need to know exactly what is happening at the Body Shop at Headquarters Toyota Hialeah/Miami Lakes. On July 8, 2026, I was involved in an accident, and unfortunately my vehicle was taken to your Body Shop for repairs. From the beginning, the experience was unacceptable. When I went to check on my vehicle, your staff could not even locate the car keys. When I asked them to investigate or contact the appropriate person, I was made to feel as though this was somehow not their responsibility. To be perfectly clear: the keys were in your facility, and it was absolutely not my responsibility to locate them. After I contacted the dealership myself, the issue was suddenly resolved. What made the situation even more concerning was that calls from me were answered immediately, while apparently the same issue could not be resolved internally. The problems continued from there. The vehicle remained at the Body Shop for nearly a month, and the insurance company and I were charged more than $8,300 for the repairs. Yet, after all that money and all that time, the vehicle was returned with issues that should have been addressed as part of the repair. A service warning light subsequently came on, and, even more troubling, a tire that had been damaged in the accident was not repaired. Seriously? After more than $8,300 in repairs and almost one month in your Body Shop, I am being asked to pay additional money to correct issues that should have been resolved during the original repair process. This raises a very simple question: What exactly was I paying more than $8,300 for if the vehicle was not properly repaired? And why should the customer be responsible for paying again for work that was supposed to have been completed in the first place? The tire situation is equally unacceptable. The tire was damaged in the accident, yet it was not replaced. Now I am being told that I must pay for it myself. Again, how is that acceptable after an $8,300+ repair bill? Unfortunately, that was not the end of the problem. My insurance sent the payment/check on July 28, 2026, yet your facility refused to release my vehicle until August 4 because, according to your staff, the check could not be located. Once again, I had to personally contact my insurance and intervene to resolve an issue that should have been handled between the dealership and the insurance company. After everything I have experienced, I am left with a vehicle that was in your Body Shop for almost a month, a repair bill exceeding $8,300, unresolved repair issues, a damaged tire that was not replaced, additional charges being requested from me, and unnecessary delays in releasing my car. I want to be very clear: I am not complaining about a minor inconvenience or expressing dissatisfaction over something trivial. I am questioning the quality, accountability, communication, and integrity of your work. Unfortunately, my experience with the Body Shop at Headquarters Toyota Hialeah/Miami Lakes has fallen dramatically below those basic expectations. I am also writing this because other customers deserve to know what they may be walking into. I wrote an email to the manager and noone have had the decency to respond.

On May 15, 2025, I went to Miami Lakes Mitsubishi to address the issue; they told me the problem was the battery because the car had been sitting at the dealership for a long time. They charged the battery and claimed the issue was resolved. However, on May 16, 2025, the car was dead again in the morning. I contacted the dealership again, and they asked me to return; they replaced the battery with a new one and said the problem was fixed. That same day, I set off on a vacation trip to North Carolina, but the next day, the battery was dead again. Throughout those two months, the car would only start with the help of a jump starter--which I was forced to buy because I was traveling through various cities. I returned to Miami on July 16, 2025, and went to Miami Lakes on July 17, 2025, to have the problem resolved once more. I sat there for five and a half hours waiting for them to find the issue; they informed me that the GPS was draining the battery while the car was turned off, so they disconnected the GPS and told me the problem was solved! Today, July 18, 2025, the car was dead again in the morning, and--just like every other day since I bought this *new* car--I had to jump-start it. This car clearly has a factory defect that the authorized Mitsubishi dealership itself cannot fix. I bought a new car to avoid problems, but the exact opposite happened. I am exhausted by this situation. Who is going to resolve this now? I'm going to have to find a lawyer and file a lawsuit against Miami Lakes and Mitsubishi, because I don't see any other way to resolve this.

I've waited well over a year to write this review, hoping the situation would be resolved- but unfortunately, it has not. We purchased a vehicle in January 2025, and it was out of service before reaching 2,000 miles. It was ultimately deemed a lemon. While Nick from sales was wonderful (and I was not surprised to hear he is no longer there), the rest of the experience quickly went downhill. The finance department added multiple extras to our contract that were never clearly disclosed. The sales contract and invoice contained contradicting numbers, along with numerous fees we only became aware of when GM began finalizing the buyback payout. The surrender process itself was extremely unprofessional. Christopher arrived unprepared, had me sign incorrectly completed documents at a service kiosk instead of an office, and even documented the wrong vehicle's photos and mileage. He also attempted to have me sign paperwork without a notary present, stating they could "handle that part later." It has now been over four months since surrendering the vehicle, and Miami Lakes Chevrolet still has not reimbursed us for GAP insurance, extended warranties, and other service contracts. After contacting the underwriting companies directly, we were told the dealership has already received those payouts!! Trying to reach anyone at the dealership has been nearly impossible. Voicemails and emails go unanswered. Alfredo in finance stopped responding entirely. Indira in customer service did the same after an initial reply. Juan Huerta, the operations director, has not responded at all. The only person who has replied is Rene, who is not in finance and is unable to resolve the issue. Even routine service was questionable. We were told our tires were rotated when they clearly were not--the wheel lock remained untouched, and a faulty tire sensor stayed on the same tire after the supposed rotation. We have since filed another complaint with the Better Business Bureau. As both a consumer and a small business owner, I am genuinely shocked by the lack of accountability and professionalism. During my visits, I was not alone--there were many other customers dealing with similar unresolved issues. I hope sharing my experience helps, please make a more informed decision to go to another dealership! And Miami Lakes I would love to hear back from you.
