Came here, didn't click with the first salesman so asked for sales manager 'chris' he sorted me out a si knew what truck I wanted, and gave me Seth another rep and form there out it went very smoothly and any issues I found he immediately took care of! I need others can be informed. I came into this dealership fully prepared to purchase a vehicle. I had, bank issued check/draft, my down payment ready and a preapproval already completed. This should have been a straightforward transaction that took a couple of hours after selecting the car. Instead, the process took unnecessary time, due to repeated back and forth with the sales manager, which raised serious concerns for me. To be clear: The sales associate who assisted me, was extremely helpful, professional, and respectful. They don't deserve her. She did everything she could on her end and I truly appreciate her efforts. However, despite having outside financing, I was repeatedly pressured to complete a dealer credit application. Which would Allow an additional credit pull and Consider dealer arranged financing And "non negotiable" add on products that increased the final price of the vehicle. This was confusing and frustrating, especially since later went to another AutoNation dealership, and was told this should not be required when a customer already has bank financing and funds ready. At this point, I'm not sure if this is something everyone experiences here, a management issue, or something else, but the lack of transparency made me uncomfortable enough to walk away from the deal. I'm sharing this to encourage future buyers to please carefully review all paperwork, Question any request for unnecessary credit checks and be aware of added items that can inflate the final price If anyone else has experienced something similar at this dealership, I would genuinely appreciate hearing about it. read more

They refused to sell me a truck until I "filled out a credit application" which is illegal as hell. They tried with multiple managers offensive and rude and dumb. For me, it's easy, just get back in my car and leave. What a joke. You can't get a straight answer, they don't listen. 2,000 in dealer markups then they call it MSRP. That is before they add on paint dent and paint protection crapola for an additional $800. Then they add on a $1,000 dealer service fee. Worst service ever, my car was in the shop for a month after being told 3-5 business days. I asked to look at the transmission but techs that look at it were on vacation. No effort was made to reduce the time to diagnose the issue so the car just sat for weeks waiting. The feedback I got from the service rep was that there were cars waiting longer than mine which is ridiculous. No one should have to wait 3 weeks for a diagnosis on a car. The job ended up being a transmission replacement, so after waiting 3 weeks for it to get diagnosed then the replacement was ordered. There was no information on when it would get there or be replaced just was told "could be a couple of weeks". Only got a rental after 2 weeks of it being in the shop and having to uber around. The service rep made it seem like a chore to speak to me and update me. After it was finally fixed I had moved away so I had to drive 4 hours and take the day off to pick my car up, I got there and it wasnt ready after being told it would be. They expected me to drive 4hrs back home and come back the following day. Only after explaining how ridiculous that was did they offer to take it to me. After the car was delivered found one of the wheel lugs in the car itself. Literally had a tire missing it. Worst experience ever. Traded in the car less than a week later after, have no faith that they completed the job or any services correctly. Never want to walk into another ford again. Unreal, still charged me 1300$ no discount or coupon after a month of bad service. read more

January 12, 2026 I am in Sarasota, not CA as the profile suggests. I do not often write reviews, whether positive or negative. I only do so when an experience is either exceptional or extreme. Unfortunately, this was the latter. I have never taken my Ford F-150 anywhere for service other than this dealership. Initially, this was due to the vehicle being under warranty; later, it was simply because it made sense to keep all service in one place. Over the years, I have endured excessive wait times for simple services--always by appointment--and on one occasion was even forgotten entirely while waiting. Despite this, I remained loyal... or perhaps long-suffering. Today was the final straw. On December 31, I scheduled a service appointment for January 12 and promptly confirmed it via text. In the interim, I called the dealership twice attempting to speak with a service advisor to discuss my overall service needs, including an oil change, new tires, and possible water pump and spark plug replacement. Both times I was assured someone would call me back. No one did. This outreach was made specifically so I could plan both my time and expenses. On Saturday, January 10, I reached out again in an effort to plan ahead. Instead of receiving a call, I received a text to which I replied at 10:47 a.m., once again confirming my appointment and reiterating my service questions. Ana responded that "an associate will reach out shortly to assist further." At 11:34 a.m., I politely followed up when no one had contacted me. Once again, no response. At 7:34 a.m. this morning--less than two hours before my scheduled 9:00 a.m. appointment--I received a text from Hector apologizing that no one had gotten back to me and stating he would have an estimate prepared that afternoon. When I questioned this, given my 9:00 a.m. appointment, he replied that he would work on it then. I arrived at the dealership at 9:00 a.m. and was standing at Hector's desk by 9:02. He was assisting another customer with a brake issue, which I completely understand. However, rather than checking me in or handing me off to another advisor, Hector (a service advisor, not a technician) left to go on a test drive with that customer--while I stood at his podium for 37 minutes. During this time, several other advisors were present, some not assisting clients, yet no one offered help. When Hector finally returned, he appeared visibly frazzled--shuffling papers, printing documents for other customers, mistaking me for another client, and scrambling to assemble an estimate. Throughout this interaction, he never made eye contact and was clearly not present or engaged. When I suggested that we at least begin the scheduled oil change, I was told it would be at least two hours. At that point, it was already nearly 9:45 a.m. Within moments, Hector hurriedly handed me a partially scribbled, handwritten estimate covering only some of the requested services. I smiled and said, "I think I'm going to pass." To add insult to injury, at 11:16 a.m. I received an email from Hector stating, "It appears you are running late." I replied politely, reminding him of the actual events. Over an hour later, I received no response--no explanation, no apology, nothing. Whoever is managing this service department could benefit greatly from lessons in time management, communication, and follow-through. As a result of today's experience, you have lost a regular service customer who was fully prepared to spend approximately $5,000 on tires and additional maintenance. PS: I drove one mile down the road and received a Mobil 1 synthetic oil change in under 30 minutes. read more

Nice dealership to purchase new vehicle from. However, I brought my vehicle in a few months back for its first oil change and asked for full synthetic (as that is all I have used over the past 20 years in all my cars). Afterwards, I paid for full synthetic ... but upon my second oil change, today, they told me I had only received a "synthetic blend" last time !? Not the end of the world, and fortunately it happened only once and at the beginning, but just something to be aware of when having service done and I will be certain to specify "synthetic" multiple times at my next oil change! Otherwise, the service today was excellent, my service advisor (Shawn) was great, and the technician sent me a video of the undercarriage of my car and his observations as I sat in the waiting room !!! read more

I took my vehicle into local dealership for regular maintenance. Upon entering the Service area I waited awhile inside my vehicle expecting someone to come outside. Then I got out and stood waiting in case they couldn't see me. Several employees walked by me. When I realized no one was coming outside I went inside and waited for any one of at least four employees to acknowledge or to make eye contact in the small space. It seemed they were too busy. Finally, someone else walking by asked if I'd been helped and I indicated negative. He paged my Service Manager who showed up immediately and I was taken care of from there. At one point I left the Service area, stretched my legs, then re-entered thru the Sales entrance. When I entered Sales at least several sales men jumped up to greet me asking if they could help and several others looked my way until I pointed to the Service area. The next time I have a Service appointment I'll park in Service and enter thru Sales then ask for a direct hand-off to my Service manager. read more

Car never moved and I observed an entire bay of mechanics sitting by their tool box for about 60-75 minutes. incredible! where is the manager because that person should be fired as well as the lazy mechanics. I finally grabbed my keys back from the oil change manager and brought my business to another oil change place. this is the kind of service you get when a conglomerate owns 300 plus stores. they obviously dont need our money. let's oblige them in making them less rich. read more

This place is an absolute dump. I never write reviews and if I could give negative stars I would. This is the 1st review I have written in 43 years. I have never been treated worse. Buying this vehicle took 6 hours long after picking it out within 45 minutes of being there. I was told sorry and offered a slice of pizza. Hours after leaving the lot, the sunroof broke on the vehicle I purchased. I was told not to worry about it and it was covered in my warranty that was pushed on me by the dealership but it took 30 days for the warranty to kick in. Just to find out that it's not covered in the warranty. The speedometer has stopped working and there is a huge kink when I press on the gas. I dropped my truck off on 11/23 to be repaired and it's now 2/15 and I'm still at square one. I couldn't say anything worse about this dealership and have never had worse customer service. I'm selling my truck this weekend and starting over at a brand new dealership. This place needs its employees to go back to basic training. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. read more

My husband and I were attempting to get work done with Moses at Ford, but as per usual I was disappointed and could not. We dropped our car off at 9am only to be told NOTHING I wanted done was covered under my PLATINUM warranty, tire warranty, and oil change warranty. When we bought the car I was told I had 3 free oil changes, I guess Ford thought 1 was enough. I left and went to my local store to see about an oil change and tire balance to where they pointed out my tires are from 2011!! The tire stamp showed "3011". I had just bought this car June 2020, and Dave Hannon let me drive off the lot with 10 year old tires!!! I went back to Ford to see if they could correct this issue under their certified Ford promise, and after 5 (yes, FIVE) hours of them having my car and me being car-less they called me and told me they would NOT replace my tires.  I am extremely upset in my purchase, in Moses who is impossible to get ahold of, in Dave Hannon for letting me drive off the lot with 10 year old tires while calling us liars, and with the warranty program that did not want to cover oil change #2 or the tires. I lost and ENTIRE day 9am - 5pm to get nothing accomplished. Update: the GM of the company replaced all the tires. While there Dave Hannon who we personally messaged about the tires thinking he could help, made direct eye contact with my husband multiple times and not once went over to apologize. I was offered $8500 at car max and other offers very close to that in other dealerships in the Bradenton Sarasota area which is fair. This dealership offered me $500.00 for a van that works perfect and looks new. The shelving in the back alone is worth $3500.00. BEYOND UNHAPPY. Two things I expressed to the GM in the service department. First thing, I was not happy with being told that it would take 2 hours to do an oil change. I can get over that since I didn't have much else to tend to with my day. But 2 hours is a stretch when the same service can be done in 20 minutes if not 30. Second thing, as my car is being serviced and as I was told it would only be another 20-30 minutes from Shawn Broussard (which it wasn't) I look out the window to see the technician (Joel Montanez) doing my oil change SITTING AND LEANING on my front bumper for a good 5 minutes. That is entirely unacceptable and just disrespectful to me as a customer. Makes me wonder how they treat other customers cars. They charged us for 2 years of registration and then went back and switched it to one year. Which upon us going to renew the registration we found out it was expired. Had to go to the tax collectors office and that when we were informed what this dealership did. They are crooks. Steve Sawyer, the sales manager is absolutely incompetent. He fits the car salesman stereotype to a T. He does nothing but lie. His story always changes. They were supposed to mail me a check, never did. Now he avoids my calls. He's conveniently not at his desk or too busy when I call. Also the service department is an absolute train wreck. They allegedly fixed my truck and upon picking it up, they never touched it. Ive thought long and hard before I wrote this review. After three weeks of purchasing a new vehicle i decided to go ahead. I will make clear, my issue is not with the salesman. He was competent, friendly and did a great job. My issue is the old game played of " I have to talk to my boss". I am an A plan customer and have only bought Fords my entire life. After negotiating my trade in value, we agreed on price. Trade in value written down. The dealership had to pick up car in Tampa. When we got home, I checked the car on line in Tampa and found out their dealership was $1,000 less than the sticker price Auto Nation was advertising. This was even though I am an A plan customer. I let them know about it and told them I was not willing to pay the extra $1000 for a pickup of a vehicle 40 miles away. The salesman texted me and said it was taken care of. When we went to pick up the car, I had to meet with the sales manager who had zero explanation except to say, they had given me more on the trade in than they should have. They took off $500 for a military discount, and somehow that was supposed to make it ok. I was fed up at that point. I took the deal, but they were not transparent, and they were not up front with their pricing. Then when we went to finance to write the check for the car, the finance guy tried to close extremely hard on the warranty. First of all, Auto Nation will not even tell you they offer the Ford warranty which is the better warranty. They try to sell you their Auto Nation warranty without even informing you of the Ford warranty. When you do ask about it, they reluctantly tell you its not the best deal and advise you to take out their warranty (of course they do, thats where they get their commision). The salesman tried to close about five times. If you purchase from this dealership watch out. In the future, Ill be going to Sarasota Ford read more

Ford We purchase a new 2023 Ford F150 King ranch on November 30, 2023. As we were driving at 6:30:PM on 2/11/24 back passenger window started bowing inward then suddenly exploded. My elderly mother was seated next to the window and witnessed the window bulge and bow then explode all over her. The glass cut her and the seats, a big mess and an hour drive home without a window with glass everywhere. It was a mild evening with no big temperature difference, the defroster was not on. It was cooler on the ride home with no window. We contacted the dealer, Auto Nation Ford in St Petersburg, FL and they were not helpful. Claimed that no glass is covered under the warranty, regardless of circumstances. Contact Ford customer service and they opened a case but were unhelpful. Buyer Beware!! read more

Online appointment system: When I arrived they could not find my appointment. Not a surprise, since I requested a call to explain what I needed and never got a call. I set another appointment for a week later for a diagnostic. They don't offer service loaners except for warrantee work and wanted to keep my car for two days. For a diagnostic. My impression of the service department was that it was incredibly disorganized and does not communicate well with customers. Terrible sales team. I get they may be making money hand over fist but when it comes to working with customers they are terrible. I spoke to 3 sales people today all of which weren't helpful gave wrong information. I have been a life long Dodge customer, I made a mistake on making a reservation for a Ford. I went through www.ford.com and they selected AutoNation Ford Bradenton as my dealer. Like I said after talking to 3 sales people and getting bogus information, I was able to cancel my reservation. Made an online appointment for 7am, right at service opening time. Once the service manager came out, I explained I had a check engine light. He said the diesel mechanic wouldn't be in for an hour or two, and I would have to leave the truck. Then he said it would take ONE OR TWO WEEKS to read the diagnostic code. Pure gaslighting by the service manager... why does service take appointments they can't keep? Why even bother to tell me the mechanic won't be in for a couple hours when they wouldn't even look at the truck for WEEKS???? My recommendation: do not waste your time at this incompetently run location. This isn't service, it's a disservice. read more

If I could give a place negative stars I would. I never write reviews but this place deserves one. First of all my paperwork was lost upon arrival, the man I worked with wasn't even at the office when I went to pick up my vehicle. As I talked to the other technician and told him I was on a tight schedule for work he proceeded to take his sweet time and make jokes with his coworkers. I was also failed to be informed about pricing during my initial drop off so when I was surprised to find out I had to pay over $300 for an estimate which is fine. I hadn't brought my card with me and he immediately changed his body language. So i ran back to my office and picked up the card to come back and he was slamming his key board non stop, sighing non stop as if I was suchhhh an inconvenience. I was also told the wrong name initially by whoever I talked to because it was a joke the employees had with each other apparently. Will absolutely never be going back, the absolute zero care for my timeline was ridiculous. ****** was insanely rude. In response to a factory recall we had been asked to bring in the car only to be told, 4 TIMES, they were not able to complete the fix because their equipment malfunctioned or they did not have the parts. Finance guy! This review is about a single person encounter, not the entire dealership. Bought 2 business vehicles from this place. Traded in my old van for a new one which I had been waiting for almost 2 years. Not the dealership, but the manufacturer issue. The manager was nice. Salesperson, Damir was excellent through the whole process, highly recommend him! I will be leaving a separate review for him when the questioner comes. Finance person now! Should have been a clean, simple transaction, print 10 papers, sign and date, no brainer. The guy offered an extended warranty, then oil change discount plan, when I refused, his demeanor changed 180 degrees. Without going into too much details, this "important acting guy", don't even remember his name, was really unprofessional, implied things, and treated me with disrespect. Said things he should not even be saying by law. This guy is a glorified secretary at the car dealership who spoke condescending to me, and I usually don't judge but this guy really disrespected me on the personal level. Not sure, because I have an accent or because I didn't buy the extended warranty which did not make business sense to me. Watch out for this guy. It would have been better if he had stayed in his cubicle and print the documents to the printer in another room for me to sign, that would have been a much more pleasant experience. read more
