We had a Ford Explorer and 3 people in it, and he arrived to our location within about 40 minutes from my call to AAA. What wonderful young man. He diagnosed the problem (broken serpentine belt) and loaded our vehicle on his flatbed. Then he helped us get my cousin up and inside his very tall truck. We had taken her to Morgantown for radiation today and were on our way back home to Keyser. He took the scenic route back home, made sure my cousin was ok, dropped our truck off at our mechanic's garage, then took us up our driveway and home. I think he might have been an angel in disguise. This kind of friendly, courteous and incredibly helpful service is rare. Austin from JTC gets a 12 on a scale on 1-10.

Good experience. Sometimes buying tires can be like buying a used car .. and you end up feeling…read morelike you need a shower afterwards. This was NOT the case here. I had talked with 'Cody' several times, and he got prices/estimates for me on several different models of tires. He was also upfront and honest about my original pick of tire, which was no longer being made in a P-rated tire, only in a heavier duty LT-rated version. He advised against the heavier tire for my Xterra. While deciding on which tire to get, I also called Sears. The dude there had no problem saying the LT tire would be fine, and I wouldn't even notice the difference. It took me about 2 minutes of online research to learn that wouldn't be a good idea, and would affect my SUV's gas mileage, handling, ride quality. So, no way I was going to Sears. Called rainbow Tire back, had them order the model I wanted (which took only 1 day to arrive). When I went to have them installed, it took just under 45 minutes to get me back on the road. Cody didn't try to sell me any extra B.S. that I didn't need, and he gave me an excellent price. (easily rivaling online prices like Tire Rack) I know where I'm going when my car needs tires again.

If I could give a lower rating than one star I would. Avoid this garage at all costs. The mechanics…read moreare without a doubt the most incompetent and questionable people that I have ever made the mistake of letting touch my truck. I have always done the maintenance on my truck myself but a few months back my oil was due for a change and my wife and I had to make an unexpected trip to Pittsburgh for a family emergency. So I went against my personal code and decided to go to a garage and unfortunately "George's Tune Up" was the only place that could get my in the next morning. When I arrived I should have known not to turn my truck over to them but as I said we had to be in Pittsburgh that day and I did not have time to do it myself. My appointment was at 8:00 a.m., I arrived at 7:45 Andy the owner (I'm assuming) showed up at 8:20. He was driving the same type of truck as mine (which was in rough shape) and when he got out without so much as a "hello" he pointed and said "I'll give you $50 dollars for your wheels and rear bumper". It was at this point that I could tell that he was high. His eyes were blood red, he was slurring his speech, and he smelled of marijuana from 10 feet away. Again I knew that I shouldn't turn my truck over to this guy but as I said I had to be in Pittsburgh that day and the clock was ticking. I thought "well the comment about the wheels and bumper must have been a joke" (it wasn't, by the way), and he obviously partook in taking illegal controlled substances, but I pushed my worries aside thinking maybe he I said just a manager or supervisor and that he doesn't actually work on the vehicles. (He does I found out) Anyway to make a long, and very agrivating story short I took the truck to Pittsburgh and back but I noticed I that it was running a little hot. So when i got home I checked it out and it was at that point that's I found power steering fluid in my radiator. This ignoramous was actually so out of it that while topping off my fluid levels he added power steering fluid into my radiator expansion tank. It still has me outraged and as I said this happened several months ago and it's taken me this long to write a review because, frankly it took this long to calm down from the whole experience just to keep a level head while writing this review. So to sum this all up don't ever go to George's Tune Up the best thing to do is handle the maintenance yourself if you have the time and know how. If you can't I would strongly recommend taking a short drive out Baltimore Pike in Cumberland, MD to Twiggs automotive they're really the only mechanics in the tri-state area that can be trusted not only to charge a fair price but to also complete the job correctly with no worries of mistakes, such as adding power steering fluid to the radiator. I hope this's review helps to save someone from the same headache I got as a result of using George's Tune Up. Thank you.
