Able to get the call immediately off the road, I attempted and called AAA. However, there were no takers willing to pick me up and tow me until 9:00am. Thankful for the Maryland State Police to check on me, when after 2 hours of waiting, the State Police said, we could call someone to pick you up. Indeed, they did. Wendall and his wife, Jennifer, came to my rescue, hooked my car up, and drove me to the town of La Vale, Maryland. Black Dog Towing's owner knew that there was a vehicle tire care center in La Vale opened on Sundays. Not only did we secure the vehicle at this care center but before that took place, we went to three hotels until one had an reasonable offer. Wendell drove me to the Tire Center, dropped of the car, and the drove me back to the Best Western hotel. Professional and down-to-earth operator with fair and an affordable price. We had a Ford Explorer and 3 people in it, and he arrived to our location within about 40 minutes from my call to AAA. What wonderful young man. He diagnosed the problem (broken serpentine belt) and loaded our vehicle on his flatbed. Then he helped us get my cousin up and inside his very tall truck. We had taken her to Morgantown for radiation today and were on our way back home to Keyser. He took the scenic route back home, made sure my cousin was ok, dropped our truck off at our mechanic's garage, then took us up our driveway and home. I think he might have been an angel in disguise.
