They are way better than the typical full service car washes. For comparison, their basic in and out wash results in a cleaner car than getting an ultimate wash with all of the optional upgrades at Auto Bell. Plus, The Wash is cheaper. It's a good idea to call ahead, especially during the spring/summer. If you don't make an appointment and they're really busy, it can take hours. The location isn't glamorous (it used to be an old gas station) and there isn't a great waiting area, so I usually bring my own lawn chair. They do have a couple benches. If you're okay with that, there isn't a better place in Greensboro to get your vehicle washed at such a great value!

This one is ran like they used to be- even down to the owner coming out to pump gas in between answering the phone and working on cars. He tends to handle the routine maintenance appointments and inspections while his associate takes care of more involved jobs. It has given me peace of mind to know that if my car needed repair, I can count on these guys to give me honest and solid recommendations either within their business or other local businesses they trust. With many auto shops taking advantage of people these days, it really means a lot to find one you can trust. As I've mentioned, this is a two man operation so appointments are necessary and hours are a bit more limited than the chain locations. It is worth the effort, though. Mike is always quick to answer the phone and pencil you in as soon as the schedule allows. Most of the time within the same week. His prices are very reasonable and he gets you in and out quick. He has oil changes timed so perfectly, one time I was able to set a timer on my phone for the time he said it would take and run across the street to grab a coffee at the cafe that was once in the yellow house. As I was making my way back across, I see my car backing out of the garage just as my timer went off! It can be a tight squeeze for me to work in an oil change on my lunch break but knowing I can count on the appointment time, I am able to make it work. Long story short, if you're looking for a service station in the Jamestown area that you can trust to offer reliable service at a good price, Mike's is the place to go. Even if it's something his shop doesn't do, he can give you a recommendation you can trust as well. This shop may be one of the things I miss most when I move away, haha!

This is my horror story. it's a sad story too. I have been dealing with Baitys tires for nearly 10…read moreyears. Have never had an issue, ever! Great folks or so I thought. I recently had a lift kit installed on my 2025 Maverick tremor. They (Baitys) have done a lift kit before on my bronco sport Badlands awesome job. However, this was not. I acquired their services to do this lift kit and it was on for about a month before it failed. Apparently whether they did not install the CV back into the transmission correctly or the lift kit was missing something but regardless it popped the CV joint out and I lost the transmission. I thought it was a factory issue. It was not. Dealership told me about the CV and the issue with that being that it was not installed correctly or something was missing when they put the aftermarket lift kit on. I did not expect Baittys to pay the full price for the transmission, $8500 and change. But I did expect them to assume some responsibility. I figured that was fair. Also being kind to them because of the relationship I thought meant something and apparently that was Folly on my part. The dealership was awesome, (capital Ford) in Wilmington. They were kind enough to give me a loaner which I've had now for well over a week and a half free of charge. Unbelievably kind. This happened by the way 3 1/2 hours from home on Oak Island. I reside in Greensboro. Well got the call today that the transmission is done. I Texted Tripp the manager At Baiteys Tire he texted me and told me and I paraphrase, that the dealership called him and told him it wasn't anything they did. Which, of course, is in congruent with what the manager told me at the dealership. After leaving a slightly terse voicemail asking why they would tell him that as it was not congruent with our initial conversations after they found out what happened. This being at capital Ford in Wilmington, I got a call back from Nick the manager there and service that is, and he told me he has not contacted Tripp except for the first time telling him what happened and he would be in touch when it's done. 10 years I've dealt with Tripp and Baittys Tire and always recommended them. But why he would tell me a story that they told him it was not anything they did is beyond the pale. You know when you hire somebody, you have a reasonable expectation that they know what in the sam hell they're doing. Well I can tell you, he kicked the can and now I'm stuck with the full amount of a brand new transmission, plus the cost of the lift kit, which will not work on my Maverick at least in the kit that I paid for. So I am out over 10 grand. He can't make this up. So no, I could not recommend them again. It is very distressing. I'm out of the money. I'm out of relationship that you would've thought after 10 years. It meant something. But alas. I'm sure this is abnormal in business today. Sarcasm implied. So buyer beware. I would not recommend them and would give them a minus one score If I could. Sad, big time, mad oh hell? Oh yeah. This is what happened without any embellishments as I believe in being honorable and it is important to be as accurate as possible and not allow your emotions to overtake the facts.
