I highly recommend The Wash. I like to come here, even though it's on the other side of town from where I live. Their basic full service wash, inside and out, for a full size SUV is only $40. Excellent customer service and they do a really great job. They are way better than the typical full service car washes. For comparison, their basic in and out wash results in a cleaner car than getting an ultimate wash with all of the optional upgrades at Auto Bell. Plus, The Wash is cheaper. It's a good idea to call ahead, especially during the spring/summer. If you don't make an appointment and they're really busy, it can take hours. The location isn't glamorous (it used to be an old gas station) and there isn't a great waiting area, so I usually bring my own lawn chair. They do have a couple benches. If you're okay with that, there isn't a better place in Greensboro to get your vehicle washed at such a great value! read more

Amazing, amazing service. I am new to the area and needed a good deep clean after many road trips to the beach this summer. I found The Wash on yelp and they had such great reviews it was a no brainer. They did a fantastic job getting the bugs & dirt off the exterior and the sand, dirt, and puppy nose marks on the windows of the interior of my car. It is a long wait (about an hour after they start), but well worth it and only around $30. 10/10 recommend The Wash! read more

It is pretty difficult to find car washes that wash by hand in Greensboro. Most of them are mobile car washes and they are very difficult to locate, and when you do you can't really sit anywhere. This place looks like a old gas station converted to a car wash. They hand wash cars and since my car is so low I can't machine wash so this is my only way. They take their time and make an effort to ensure the quality of your car. For now I got a inside and out wash which cost me $30. Not bad for almost an hour of washing read more

I stumbled across this car wash accidentally while visiting Greensboro. My car was in desperate need of some TLC and they took great care of her. There were three gentleman there to work on my car. They thoroughly vacuumed the inside and paid great attention to the outside. They also waxed the car. The gentleman working there were extremely friendly and courteous to me and my daughter. I took my truck here today in desperate need of some TLC. I travel for work and put tons of mileage and time in my car so it was filthy! They shampooed the interior and got most of the dog fuzz out, I wish we had a before and after photo! The pricing was a bit high for what I've been able to get in other parts of the country BUT for the excellent service, demeanor of the owner and employees, and the elbow grease I know it took to get my truck looking good, I would happily pay it again. Will not be returning. If you have a luxury vehicle run!. To many minor mistakes of car not being properly cleaned. I ended up recleaning it. Was filthy near trunk area underneath. Left random lent in the car letters and front logo. Front logo are wasn't cleaned.Also, scruff marks made on near doors when open. Stuff should learn that all cars SHOULD not be stooded on, a y'all should be placed down or a still used. Thank you for expensive fix. Workers sprayed to much product on tires which resulted in splashing affect on the car. Car was not vacuumed out. Amateurs for luxury vehicles. Nice people but not good enough for me to return. New to that area so still learning places. I hope to find someone more credible. read more

After having a horrible $69 car wash at Golden Touch a month or so ago, I decided to try the place in town that had the BEST reviews....The Wash. No drive-thru wash here, and no "noodles" and brushes dragging over your car and leaving unwashed spot. No, this place is legit, with HUMAN BEING washers! They did a great job for less than 1/2 of what I paid at Golden Touch, and they paid attention to detail. I'll def go back there, even tho it's all the way across town from me. I hate to be the seeming exception to the rave reviews for this car wash, but I had a very disappointing experience there today (June 26th). I requested an exterior wash for my '97 Toyota 4-Runner. I had used these folks on at least one other occasion and was pleased with the service; I had no reason to believe that this time would be any different. I watched as two other cars were lovingly sprayed, resprayed and wiped with cloths several times. When finished my Toyota was brought around to the front of the building where I was sitting and a cursory swipe of dressing was given to the tires; I was then presented with the ignition key and charged $20 for the exterior only wash job. When I arrived home, I gave the vehicle a thorough inspection and discovered that there was no evidence of the car being wiped down with a cloth of any kind; the chrome was still showing preexisting dirt along with obvious areas of the body. The top had not been touched except perhaps by a spray wand passing over it and no attention given the overall film and the dirt in the water channels. With a wet wash cloth and a little wiping I easily removed the soiled areas mentioned above, so it was obvious to me that no wiping had been done on my vehicle at all; greatly disappointed with my visit there. I don't know if my age (78) and the age of my Toyota had any bearing on the treatment that I received today but there could be a cautionary lesson therein. To that I will say: I may be old but I'm not an old fool. read more
