Exceptional Service at Canyon Road Enterprise - Zac and Team Went Above and Beyond…read more After my car was broken into and my purse and wallet stolen, I was already dealing with the trauma of feeling violated while navigating the exhausting process of replacing everything - closing bank accounts, getting a new driver's license, and filing police reports. When my car went to the shop, I reserved a rental through my insurance at the Highway 99 Enterprise location. I called ahead to explain my situation and that I only had a temporary paper license from the DMV. I offered to bring my passport and any other documentation needed. The Oregon DMV confirmed over the phone that my temporary license and supporting documents were sufficient for verification. I even went into the local DMV office in person to see if there was anything else I could do, but they assured me that what I had was completely valid and should be accepted. However, the manager at Highway 99 flatly refused, insisting I needed a physical license with my photo - something the DMV said would require starting the entire process over and paying additional expedited fees since they use a third party for processing and couldn't refund what I'd already paid. Throughout this interaction, the manager showed zero compassion, speaking to me coldly as if my situation was just an inconvenience to him. Even when I asked if my husband could rent the car for me, he incorrectly stated I couldn't drive it without a physical license (which my insurance confirmed was false - Oregon law allows me to drive any car I'm insured for with my temporary license). I left feeling defeated and violated all over again. Thankfully, a relative who works for Enterprise suggested I try another location. When I called Canyon Road in Beaverton, it was like night and day. The manager and Zac (who's in the management training program) were immediately sympathetic and accommodating. They found a way to verify my identity without bending any rules and got me into a rental car. They even came to my house for pickup to ensure I was completely taken care of during this difficult time. The contrast between locations was striking - where Highway 99's manager was cold and dismissive, the Canyon Road team showed genuine care and understanding. Zac and the manager (I wish I could remember his name!) turned one of my worst weeks into a moment where I felt heard and helped. I cannot recommend the Canyon Road Enterprise location highly enough. If you need a rental car in the Beaverton area, this is the team you want - professional, compassionate, and genuinely committed to customer service. Thank you to the entire Canyon Road team for restoring my faith in customer service during such a challenging time. Kym

Great to see businesses operate like this and highly recommend. Also their prices were way more competitive than airport rentals. Thank you Zach and Enterprise Beaverton Oregon!

Avis - Budget rental?? Not so much. On top of that only a 4 hour moving truck rental on the weekends or you incur a late fee...

I hardly write nasty reviews. I'm very saddened by the owner's behavior and how confusing it was…read morethe other day when my fiancé rented a moving truck from Budget/Avis and was told that he could leave the keys if he wanted but there's no Dropbox...and to leave it where he could find it but it could also get stolen. Umm, that's totally weird. So I had to drop it off the next day when they are open on the weekends for only FOUR hours (10 am - 2 pm) b/c he couldn't go. And you get charged $10 if it's late. So basically the owner banks on everyone being late... What we thought was going to be a budget saver of less than $100, ended up costing almost $200 with his insistence on insurance, etc. I unfortunately have to agree with others. We will never rent from this location again. And I'll be reporting him to their headquarters.

So it all started when I reserved a 26' truck online. So the next day I go to the location before…read moreit opens to make sure they had a truck on the lot for me. Which they had two. So I go get breakfast and come back, when I get there I walk into the sears car shop, and ask about the truck. They point to the back of there show room. The sears guy says "he probably won't shoot you for walking behind the counter. " So the rental shop is about as big as a broom closet. And there's a sign on the counter saying that the rental employee is "detailing cars for sears " I thought that was strange especially since they weren't connected. So then this man appears and I explain I made a reservation for a 26' truck. And the man told me he didn't care he doesn't have a truck for me. So I said well I paid for it. And he said no all I did was put my credit card on file. I asked why would it let me make a reservation if you don't have truck for me to rent ? He told me that I could make a reservation in front of him and he still wouldn't have a truck for me. At this point in getting up set and I ask if he can check some where else because I needed a truck I was on a time line. Which he responded he didn't have access to that. So I asked how do I get a truck ? He responded I would have to call the budget customer service number And he couldn't help me. Which I did and they didn't have a truck in the portland area. I express my dissatisfaction with them and how I was on a time line and now I would have to find something else. But I was astonished at how rude this guy was to me. I don't understand why budget / Avis lets him represent there company.
