From my short experience , my advice would be "DONT USE THESE GUYS"
If you do, make sure you familarise yourself with all the terms and conditions and get the agreement proof read by a lawyer because there are so many 'add ons' and clauses; sub clauses etc...upon return
Photograph everything upon delivery inc the fuel gauge/ wheels/ body work to prevent any potential future issues
Ill give you an example of their entrapment :-
I agreed to exchange a car after just a week, agreed a date for delivery exchange but unfortunately the night before a stone chipped the windscreen
The car went back via Autohorn appointed 3rd party delivery service with the chip, all within the allowance on the terms, but the 265 mile collection return journey unfortunately caused the screen to slightly crack
I received an email to state the car wasn't in the condition to which it was delivered and once assessed I would be contacted to confirm their findings
I WAS contacted the next day to state the windscreen had been changed and an ensuing invoice will follow!!!!!
WTF - isn't this what insurance is for with windscreen cover
I was advised by Autohorn that the car needed to be repaired immediately as it was due for another hire the next day
I was never given the chance to arrange this through my insurers , who use Autoglass and surely as able to change windscreens with the same efficiency as any other appointed windscreen supplier
When I phoned next day I was told by sales that the car was still available for lease .........
Just to reiterate - DO NOT USE - Hire a car through a reputable rental supplier instead
Might seem dearer initially but not once all penalty clauses etc are added
Autohorn expect car back like show room condition - no matter how careful you are - this is just unrealistic and impossible read more
