They were prompt and the Hospitality was great. They found brakes that were metal on metal in the front . When I asked them about it, they asked me if the brakes fell soft and indeed, I have had a problem for a month or two with the brakes. They now feel perfect. The only Glitch was on the way home I realized the wipers weren't done though the car was riding better than it had since I bought it. I called the next morning. They said come in and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. You can't get treatment like this anywhere.

Expensive oh expensive…read more I want to start this review by saying that everyone there was very nice and kind--that is not the issue. The issue is how expensive the service was. My vehicle is a 2015 Toyota Corolla. I left it at the shop on a Saturday because the check engine light had come on. In hindsight, I should have asked about the diagnostic fee beforehand. I didn't have an appointment; I simply dropped off the car and left the keys. Again, everyone at the shop was very friendly and professional. After dropping off the car at 8:15 a.m., I called around 12:45 p.m. and was told they had been trying to contact me. In the end, they quoted me approximately $1,400 for a complete gas canister replacement and fuel induction service. When I tried to negotiate the price, they lowered it to about $1,350, but the parts had to be ordered and the repair would not be completed until Monday. The diagnostic fee came to $258.35 if paid in cash. If you pay with a debit or credit card, there is an additional 3% charge. I wish I had known about the diagnostic fee beforehand because it felt like a punch in the gut. I earned less than $800 that week, so every dollar matters in my budget. I paid the fee, but unfortunately, I would not return. I simply cannot afford their prices

Warning: Do Not Trust This Repair Shop!…read more Yesterday, our 2009 Toyota Camry would not start and several warning lights were on. We brought the car in for inspection and repair. The shop told us that the alternator and fan belt needed to be replaced. They also said the battery was still at 65% and was fine (just needed charging or not replaced). We agreed to replace only the alternator and fan belt for now, and they charged us $1,400. Today we picked up the car -- and the warning lights were STILL on. We immediately drove it back and asked them to check it again. This time, they told us another part needed to be replaced and it would cost another $1,400. We decided not to move forward with more repairs at this time. Then they told us the battery was dead and had to jump-start the car for us to drive away -- even though yesterday they said the battery was fine. This whole experience feels dishonest and unprofessional. We paid $1,400 and the original problem was not even fixed. Now they are asking for another $1,400 and suddenly the battery is "dead." This is unacceptable. I would not recommend this repair shop.

Took my 2015 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid there to get a new 12-volt battery since it was 5 years old, plus a…read moreService Advance Track system error code. They tracked that to a speed sensor on the right rear wheel. They had replaced the speed sensor once and it was still throwing the same error code. They ordered a replacement speed sensor for the new one that was already put on the car. I had an issue where I really needed the car, they let me take the car without paying and we made another appointment first thing on June 5th so they could put on the next new speed sensor. On June 5th, they put on the next speed sensor and it was still throwing error codes, so it wasn't the speed sensor, they began checking things up to the front of the car. They got to the Hybrid system and I knew they wouldn't work on that. After an hour Carlos told me that he thought it would end up leading them to the ABS module. On Ford products, Ford is the only one that can install modules because they have to be programmed into the car. So, off to Schumacher Lincoln, I went. I made an appointment with Lincoln and told them about the ABS module. They told me they would diagnose the issue and that would be $199.95 + tax. So far Lincoln has had my car for 23 days at this writing. They have replaced the same rear speed sensor, that Carlos replaced, twice. I believe they are charging me $850 for that so far. They told me on August 2nd that they need to remove some parts to look at some wiring and that will take 2 hours at $270 an hour. Today is August 10th and they have not started doing that work. They can not give me a date on when they will fix my car. I will be getting rid of this car and never buy a Ford product again. I'll get a Toyota. Carlos charged me $515 for the speed sensor and the new 12-volt battery, and 1 hour for the diagnostics. His rate is $187. Lincoln has my charge up to $1,390 and I have been without a car for 23 days with no expectation of getting it back anytime soon. I used another Local Mechanic before Carlos and was charged $270 for a battery and a fee to use a credit card. Carlos, Delray Auto Repair is a great, honest shop. I highly recommend them.
