This is the 2nd windshield I've had replaced in the same car, but the first time I went with someone well known and more expensive, but honestly I was never quite happy with how it looked with the first guy...but Jared @ 1Glass did a FLAWLESS job! I could not have been more pleased and it looks SOOO good! Even when it was raining cats & dogs, I have had ZERO issues with the work he did. Plus, he came when he said he would and kept an open line of communication with me when I had questions. Thanks, Jared!

Maybe or maybe not. But, that should be my decision to make and not has as to the battery and brand. Turns out he was just grasping at straws as to what the problem was. PSST: I took it somewhere else and it was the starter. You'd think as long as they've done this, they could have figured it out. The older guy got really snotty after he lost weight. THREE other so-called body shops (over a span of a year and a half), could not get it right after a major crash that took out the entire front-end of the car. I'd just about given up hope that my car would ever look right again, but Marion and his team were able to align it in LESS THAN A DAY!! GREAT JOB!! I would recommend Pittman's Paint & Body to anyone that wants to save time and money on their car body needs. I could have saved myself a TON of grief, had I visited them earlier!

Throughout that entire time, I never received a single update of any kind. I constantly had to call just to get any information, and even then, I was met with empty promises that someone would call me back--which rarely happened. If it were not for me PHYSICALLY going to the facility I would have never known there was additional work needed which yet again pushed back my expected finish date on the vehicle. Also, several times they stated my car would be washed and cleaned and it visibly was never completed. Delays can happen, but the way this shop handled it showed a total disregard for my time, trust, and capital. As well as, my car isn't still finished after receiving it. I won't be coming back.

The truck had approximately 52K on it but they said that's the normal range for Ram ball joints to wear out. Based on their feedback I approved the work to be done. They installed aftermarket parts and when I drove the truck home it was difficult to maintain my travel lane. I took it back to Ivey's and was told this was normal during the "break in period". After 500 miles the truck was still acting the same so I took it to another shop and was told I needed OEM ball joints to solve the problem. Once the OEM ball joints were installed my truck handles perfect again! Ivey's are supposed to be the experts but I feel like I was sold a$1,200 dollar bill of goods that wasn't really needed. I will not go there again.

But, out running errands. At least it happened before I did shopping, and had perishables with me. Being Sunday, and in a small town, I was surprised to get an answer when I called Pittman's Towing. Originally, the guy on the phone told me about an hour. And, even though it took a bit over 2 hours, everyone was very courteous, and friendly (to date, the nicest business that I have dealt with in Mville, GA; reminds me of what Southern hospitality is all about). Well, it it took them over twice as long as told, why did I give ''em 5 Stars? Simple. Not only did the driver take me to the Toyota dealership, he brought me back to my apartment, which was 7 miles in the other direction! And, at a cost far, far lower than I was expecting to pay (had expected about $100.00; it was only $50.00 :-o 8-) ; However, don't hold them to that, as mileage and time will effect the price).

You get the KBB estimate, decide it's not too bad. You go there and they say kbb is just a tool and their tool they use is wayyy lower based off of whatever they want to say in order to low ball the trade. Keep in mind kbb uses avg of all sales and purchases to give you these trade in prices. Well here is where you get played, they say this amount ($$) is the best we can do. They tell you they don't have a margin to be able to offer more based off "their business" model. They suggest hey we are a certified CARMX certified trade company or something like that. Send in the vin an miles and pics and they will give you a price which is usually more than our. We can use that amount as a trade and CARMAX will come pick the car up and sale it because we can't make a better profit. They already know what CARMAX offer will be and come in lower in order to insinuate CARMAX offers more because they make their profits on the finance side rather than the sale side. We guess what, they didn't sell the vehicle (little blue SUV on their lot) to CARMAX as they said they were because there is not profit in it. They chose to keep it and list it for more than $8K more lol. They lied about this on the front end and the back end in order to get you thinking they were not going to keep it to sell based off no profit to be made, then turn around and keep it to make $8k. No profit?, LOL. You would think a dealer would want home town return customers and to maintain them they build relationships of trust and mutual understanding, I have no doubt a company want to make a profit and 3 to 5K would be not unreasonable but to gauge for $8k and lie up front about it, nope!! ** This is in now way reflective of the service department, we have owned several Lexus vehicles and the service department there is very very good. I just wanted to put this out there.
