After a few days, I received a phone call from Bob saying that everything was finished. I was shocked to hear that it was done so quickly, considering they had to order the parts for the vehicle. I came in to pick it up and was again shocked to hear the price. It was significantly lower than what I was expecting. He also took it upon himself to fix the recall gas peddle on it. I was very pleased. While I was paying, Bob went ahead and pulled my car up to the door for me. I highly recommend this dealership for all the friendly staff they have and the great prices. Which is a consumers right. When picking up the vehicle some issues were identified that the quality of repair was substandard The tailgate operation needed to be corrected with an adjustment went out of their way to make this inconvenient so I completed it on my own The spray in liner was only partially sprayed, the seam was a mess and looks terrible !!! The seam in the truck bed looks like a bad scar. These are the reason I disputed $550 of a near $13000 repair! Now in retaliation for asking them to fix it Irwin is refusing to honor their warranty, their work or even speak about it anymore! Had Irwin tried to repair the issues I would have completed payment when work was corrected. At least my insurance was a reliable source and are paying for a respray of my entire bed. I have my own calibrated air pump; I check my tire pressure periodically and whenever there is a significant temperature change. Every time I do this, I go into the "My Volvo" feature and have the system recalibrate the tire pressure. Vovo recommends 38 psi for my car; I always run 40 psi for a firmer ride, so that's the pressure I set the calibration to recognize. After being serviced by Irwin Chevrolet, a dashboard caution came on indicating dangerously low tire pressure. A check of the tire pressures revealed that the Irwin Chevrolet shop, despite my request not to adjust the pressure, had reduced it to 38 psi, triggering the caution. Irwin Chevrolet also performed a rotation and charged for it, although I had not requested one. When I complained, I was told that including these services and the associated charges was General Motors policy. In the past, I have had my Volvo (and two earlier Volvos and two Volkswagens) serviced at what is now NUCAR in Tilton. At NUCAR, my requests were always honored. I see no reason to patronize IRWIN CHEVROLET in the future if its employees are unable to honor customer requests.

I was leaving on a 12 day trip in a couple of weeks so we left the car to have the work done while we were gone. When we returned home, we went down to pick it up and it was not ready "we need to test drive it one more time" We returned the next day, the car was ready and I was handed a bill of $2,800. That is not the work I asked for, that was the cost if I let the problem get worse. I was fuming inside but paid the bill and left. When I returned home, I found two Wyndham Hotel keys in my center console which I cleaned out before I dropped the car off. There was significant mileage on my car. I called and spoke with Eric. He claimed the hotel keys were probably found on the floor of the garage and someone put them in my car ( huh?). He also denied someone drove my car - well, I sure didn't and I knew what the milage was because they had just changed my oil and I was able to calculate the difference. Overall, very disappointing as it is so difficult to find honest mechanics. The people who referred us to Auto Advisors are no longer customers there either.

For these reasons I have CHOSEN Belknap Subaru. They are friendly and answer any questions that you may have, from how long it will take, to how much it will cost. I have my 30K mile checkup/oil change, tire rotation, multi point inspection and all that goes with it. I also had my state inspection completed. They were fast and thorough and I was out in just under an hour. Highly recommend this dealership

After two hours of having an unproductive and negative experience with two of their salesmen, I've decided that I'm no longer interested in purchasing this vehicle. They provided run around answers to my questions, and try to snow ball me on a carfax report (title history report, green box with white check marks). We communicated via their business chatline and via text exchange. They didn't answer my questions. Rather they provided run around information and asked me to justify their information. Hmm, They are the professionals, not me. They claim to have a clean title but never offer to send me a copy. Like the question on the maintenance performed on the vehicle while in Alaska (own house in Alaska, no shop, had his own oil, second owner of a three owner vehicle) I never asked why the vehicle was in Alaska. I asked why no maintenance history for ~ 30k miles, 50k to 82k, (not even an oil change). They had one questionable excuse after another and never answered any of my questions. Their lack of willingness to share information, this just raised a red flag, and convinced me that this dealership isn't being forthcoming. I have screenshots. You can decide for yourself. These salesmen were many things but helpful wasn't one of them. My opinion, they weren't professional and didn't hold up the business's standards, commitment to their customers, and the community outlined on your website. Once, I get clarification from Carfax and my independent findings on the mileage discrepancies, I will have answers to many of my questions. No thanks to the dealership's staff.

From initial contact with Jeremy to getting connected with Pete to delivery, everything was smooth. Pete was especially awesome and didn't rush me as I crawled under the car and poked around everywhere to check out the car. Even during the test drive, he didn't try to upsell the car. Not to mention, despite not being a Jeep dealership, Pete graciously let me have my first rubber duck, complete with a beanie and sunglasses, and Pete was knowledgeable about the car and even showed us how to use the transfer case shifter. Very easygoing and no high pressure. Even though we came towards the very end of the day on a Friday, not a single person from this dealership that we interacted with had that "oh god we're almost closing and it's Friday and you're here so late" look (or at least if they did, we did not notice it at all!) that we've gotten before. The dealership was clean as well and extra clean bathrooms are always a nice plus. But I'm sure what you care about is price, and that's what brought us to this dealership in the first place too. The market analysis they showed us demonstrated that they really were at the cheapest end in terms of pricing.
