If you ever have any issues they will take care of you immediataley with no questions asked. I read the review and for those that are negative I can tell you this: 1. For every negative review, there have been 100 transmission R & R that are still running out there over 200K that were produced by Mike himself, with his own hands. 2. There are two sides to every story. I will tell you my story. Every single trans and clutch job I brought to Mike was and still is a success, 50K miles later. He doesn't remember this, but when he was lead Trans tech at the shop on State Ave, he put the automatic trans in my Nova and it run 100K. Right then and there I have follow him everywhere he has worked for 25 years. 8 different vehicles of all types from an F250 1996 that I run for 350K miles, to a 1991 Geo Metro 5 speed that NO ONE could figure out their ass from a hole in the ground. Mike made this car run 175K miles and the tran and clutch are like new. NO ONE could get the right clutch in that car. A month ago I brought it in for a value and lifter job. Now it runs like brand new motor. My oil gold. I have no exhaust and spark are light brown. NUTS! Do not listen to the 1 off negatives on this site. I have had projects that failed to, but it had more to do with the way that I went about it, then it did the mechanic. I will never take my cars any where else. Less than 100 miles later, the problem came back. I had to get everything replaced, and I had to pay for it a second time. When it happened a third time, I gave up and sold the car. I just did not want to deal with it anymore. The new owner later told me it was just a clogged brake line. Also, the shop lost the cap to my brake fluid reservoir. They denied it and did not have a replacement.

Here's what happened on March 18, 2026: Quoted prices as "tax included" in writing, then later claimed taxes were never included when I declined an upsell -- I have the screenshot proving his exact words Did not complete rear brake job despite charging for it as part of a package deal -- kept the parts and never installed them Left my air filter box broken and loose after removing it, making the car unsafe to drive (documented on home security camera) Used fake terminology ("coal fiber retract") and AI-generated sales scripts to push a $1,445 engine cleaning upsell -- a second mechanic confirmed no emergency condition existed Refused to refund ~$425 overpayment, became verbally abusive via text, then blocked me to avoid resolution Posted a false discrimination claim on Thumbtack when I left an honest review Total paid: $2,400 cash. Crosson insisted I needed a diagnostic ($295) even though I knew, they knew exactly what was wrong. If I was disabled, that work would have taken a hour or so in my driveway. The steering does work better now. Feels like gouging to charge that kind of extra money for a known, customer specified issue. Be aware, they do this.
