After buying the car I left it to them for A week to repair A bad steering column control unit, it was never repaired. And driving the car home from the lot I noticed that the tranny was slipping, so I took it to A bmw specialist and they said the tranny pan is cracked and leaking fluid. That cost me $1500 to repair. Also, it cost me another $1400 to get the steering column unit repaired. So after tax and license and repairs I have almost $12000.00 thousand in to A car worth $8000.00. read more

Nightmare experience. I purchased a Mercedes remotely from Texas and had it delivered after seeing a video walkaround of the vehicle. It arrived with a dead battery (they did compensate me for this), the rear tires were cut by the fenders (they were too wide) and undisclosed and unrepaired crash damage that prevented me from being able to drive the car or passing the Texas Safety inspection. I have spent close to $10,000 to get this car in good enough shape to pass the inspection and to make it driveable. I communicated with the dealer every step of the way and no other compensation was provided. I purchased the vehicle "as is" but it was based on their word and the video walkaround. I still have many issues with the vehicle, including an SRS light because the airbag system was compromised and not properly repaired. My title initally came back as Salvage/Rebuilt because of the extent of prior damage and I was only able to get that removed because of the extensive repairs I made to the vehicle. read more

I recently went to check out a Mazda3 Hatchback that I found on CarGurus, that had a report of no accidents and had a clean title. The price was decent, especially with the used car prices that have spiked recently. When I arrived, they told me that the car had moderate damage due to a front end collision, which was rebuilt and looked as if no accident occurred at all. They claimed no frame damage occurred during the accident and that inspection showed the car was in good condition. The overall exterior of the car was great, however, I was skeptical when I looked at the Carfax that was provided. Also, there was a badge that said "Turbo" on the trunk, which was very concerning as the 2014-2018 gen is not turbocharged. They even told me it was turbocharged. The 4th Gen 2019+ is however. Popped the hood to check anyway and of course there is no turbo which isn't a surprise since these are naturally aspirated. They just slapped a badge on there. I recently bought my 2006 BMW X3 from autoamore and it was honestly one of the best experiences. I had gone to Paul blanco and it was so much pressure and everyone was rude, but here, everyone was so helpful, even when I took a test drive in the car I was told no pressure, we want this to be enjoyable for you. Zaim and Irfan were so cool and helpful and answered any and all questions I had. I had a pre approval from my bank and that was no problem at all. My boyfriend is a mechanic so I took him with me and he looked over the car and everything is super mechanically sound. I've had the car for almost 2 weeks and I've had no problems, they even agreed to fix a couple cosmetic things that I had pointed out whenever I have time to take my car back by. Overall, i would buy from autoamore over and over again, they have nice cars that are super mechanically sound, which is hard to find at dealerships. Les swab wouldn't even take the tires off to check suspension without purchasing tires. They were that bad.We live 2 hours away so honestly I just called it a loss. Brake reservoir had a hole in it so when I turned the corner the alarm would sound and it would say stop brake failure. Engine light was on second day we had it. Replaced fuel pump etc etc etc. The air has stopped recently. Dying at red lights and not cranking. I've repaired so much and there is probably a couple thousand more. Total bs. read more

I purchased a car from Zaim at Autoamore. The overall experience and service level (from him and Irfan) was superbly high. I am extremely happy! I live in the Los Angeles area, and I have never purchased a vehicle remotely. I'm used to dealing with a dealer or seller face to face. So I was nervous about buying an auto that I couldn't see up close or touch. I saw a Cayenne with most of the options I wanted for a very good price on their web site, so I called to ask about it. Zaim talked to me on the phone and immediately reassured me they will treat me with my interests in mind. From then, that remained consistent through the time I picked up the vehicle. He made a 24 minute video inside and outside the car then drove it. Zaim printed a phrase I told him and embedded it in the video to prove the it was made after I spoke to him. He included all views and items I asked him to show and narrated throughout the video. He also addressed me in the video, further showing it was "made for me". I was impressed with his candor and details he included in the video. Zaim showed not only all the features and good things but also imperfections with the car which I'm interested in knowing before I can make a decision. I placed a deposit on the vehicle and asked for a Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI). Zaim stressed they do not want to bias the PPI, so they do not make PPI provider recommendations nor do they receive the PPI results. That's completely with the buyer. So I made arrangements and paid for the PPI independent of Autoamore. They delivered the car to the PPI Service provider, Midtown Autoworks, and picked it up afterwards. The Midtown Autoworks' report found some problems with the car. I wanted to make sure there would be no problems that would endanger or leave me stranded on the nearly 7-hour drive from Sacramento to Los Angeles. I shared those problems as well as my concerns to make the long drive safely with Autoamore and they agreed to replace three tires on the car (for low treads and a bubble) with new Michelin P-Zero's ($340 each from Tire Rack). The car also had a known problem with a thermostat housing that could fail and empty all the engine coolant. That part had not failed, so I agreed to pay for that repair myself to give me peace of mind. Autoamore performed the repair for about one half of what two Los Angeles Porsche repair shops quoted me. After the repair, they returned the car to Midtown Autoworks who inspected and verified Autoamore completed the repairs properly. I appreciate the repair cost savings! After I decided to purchase, Autoamore was very patient and prompt in working with me and my credit union. They have very conservative lending practices, and their checks and paperwork on Autoamore took more than three weeks! I was worried, but Zaim and Irfan assured me it's OK. They were proactive, very quickly answered all questions and sent all paperwork my credit union requested. They never complained about dealing with my credit union. Zaim consistently advised me of my rights and things I need to do to protect myself against unscrupulous dealer practices. For example, using a credit card instead of checks or debit cards to pay them, because it offers me protection. When I finally flew to Sacramento to pick up the car, they treated me very warmly. They wanted me to spend as much time as I wanted to look over the car and drive it. There was no hurry-up pressure. When I was ready, we completed my paperwork, and I spent a little time looking over their facilities. Zaim and Irfan had all paperwork ready to sign and even transferred title to me before I arrived! I got a little background history on how they got started, and I drove back to Los Angeles the same day. It was a pleasant closing experience followed by a pleasant drive back (low traffic due to pandemic conditions). I'm fortunate to have them sell a vehicle to me. They are passionate about their business, and most other dealers will not care for their customers as well as Autoamore treated me. I bought my car 2 months ago for 4800 it's spent more time in the shop than been driven. Be very careful its clear the mechanic has no idea what hes doing or does not care. I bought a jeep which is all wheel drive and unknowingly drove it for a week with two different gear ratios.my transfer case went in a week now my transmission is done. I am bummed to see the negative reviews that have cropped up on this page. I bought my 2014 Prius V from Autoamore back in November 2018 and it has served me very well ever since. It has not been without its issues. The first major repair was a leaky head gasket that became an issue not two weeks after purchasing. Autoamore helped me out with that repair because it was something I had voiced concerns about based on my mechanic's assessment of the vehicle, while Autoamore's mechanic had assured me it was not an issue. Alas, my mechanic was right, and Autoamore paid for it-- but ultimately they had no obligation to, as I knew the risks when I purchased the car. A little over a month later, the electric water pump needed to be replaced, costing me $1600. Then it needed new tires in June 2019, but at least I had expected that. As my first vehicle, it has certainly been a lesson in how much owning a car can cost. Even so, I love my car, and I think the money I have had to invest in it is reasonable. I did my research before purchasing, and I knew that buying a car with 135,000 miles on it already meant there would be big repairs sooner or later. Autoamore gets 5 stars from me because they made the potentially stressful and confusing process of buying a used car so personable, comprehensible, and frankly empowering. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase and taken care of. I felt respected and heard the whole time, from all my questions about the car to negotiating the price. Christian and Irfan were a delight to work with. They are in a tricky business, so I understand where the negative reviews come from, but I honestly have no regrets. STAY AWAY!!!! One star only so this might get viewed!!! I am extremely disappointed with my vehicle purchase from Autoamore. On 10/24/16, I purchased a 2008 BMW 535i "As Is" with less than 68k miles. The car was nicely priced under blue book, but my friend had just bought the same model and year with same miles for under blue book (from another dealer) my car needs a paint job because someone removed part of the clear coat, so felt it was a good deal. First up battery problems... why because they put in a rebuilt battery. They sent me over to the place where they purchased it and I got another rebuilt battery that has about 60 days left on warranty... ok that buys me some time. Cost of new, new battery later is not the end of the world. There was a service engine light that came on day after I took it home as well. I took it by Autoamore at Irfan's request and left the car. When I picked it up they told me it needed brake fluid topped off, but they gave me no paperwork on the code that came up or work done. My friend's car needed brake fluid and a notification came up on the idrive, my car did not have a notification on the idrive regarding brake fluid... so a little suspect. Next up they promised me a high quality tint job with lifetime warranty over fixing the broken screen in the back. What do I get... a tint job with bubbles on every window. The tinter reportedly agreed it was a bad job. I've been told I can have the money back for what they spent. First I was told $160, then $140. Who would know they never gave me an invoice for the work?!! The bigger issue on that which hasn't been resolved, is who is going to pay the tint removal cost ($100). 32 days after purchasing the car and still trying to resolve the tint job, an "engine malfunction" light comes on and reduces speed of the car. After two days in a row of this and googling I knew I needed to put it in the shop because it could be anything. After the initial $140 diagnostic BMW Roseville calls me and says there is a timing issue and they need to remove the valve cover and look inside. This is an "As Is" purchase and nothing pointing to Autoamore I authorized the additional $1100 to diagnose. My responsibility right?! Agreed (but please read on.) I did advise Autoamore the car was in the shop... no return call. Next day I am asked by BMW did I just purchase the car, where I purchased it and if they changed the drive belt (aka serpentine belt). Yes and Yes. BMW says it was a "FAULTY and NEGLIGENT repair. They did not remove the broken drive belt debris, which has been sucked into the timing chain. We need to take the oil pan off and check for a clog as you have a low oil pressure reading and we need to see if that is causing it." Hmmmh... low oil pressure reading now that is a big issue. Oil to a car is like blood to a human. This could burn out the entire engine!!! How much more for diagnosis??? $1500 bringing it to $2739 just in diagnosis. BMW Roseville encourages me to call dealer I bought car from because it is a "bad repair." Faulty and negligent??? Now I am thinking Autoamore should be fully responsible... now I am calling Autoamore because they made a PROCLAMATION of the work they had done... I hadn't even asked. I had every reason to believe the work was done properly. There was no proclamation of not knowing what the hell they were doing until we were discussing the car being in the shop. Irfan says keep it at BMW because they know what they are doing. He says he can have it done cheaper... but it's already there. TRUTH--Irfan asked the BMW service coordinator twice what to look for. The BMW service advisor said it is very clear they don't know how to do this repair... showing me they don't know how to work on these cars. To avoid court my best offers are to split everything 50/50 OR they pay the $1240 bill at BMW and buy the car back. So while Irfan says keep it at BMW he stands on his "As Is" and offers a bottom line of $750.00 toward their NEGLIGENT work that is going to cost me over $3k... 32 days after buying the car!!! He tells me to go ahead and take him to court. Irfan is nice enough like the other reviews state, but this is sheisty, and I don't think it is nice at all!!! Nothing about your tint job or service was top notch Zaim. That is complete and utter horse shit! Your tinter acknowledged the tint job was bad after you drove the car over their to have them look at it. Your "brake fluid top off" was complete fraud!!! There is no fault code for brake fluid... BMW assures me 1000% there is no such service engine code and that service engine light would NEVER come on for brake fluid. The fault code reading was low engine oil. You and Irfan cleared the code three days after purchase. You knew what was wrong with the car and covered it up.
