Had a really great experience here twice! My battery died trying to get to work a few days ago and…read moreI had to get it jumped. I went to O'Reilly to have it checked out. The guy came out with the equipment to put on the battery to see if it was good. He noticed some erosion around the battery and when he checked it out everything actually came back good. So I went to work that day and things were great. The very next morning the battery was dead again. So that evening I had it jumped again and I took it back to O'Reilly and Warren came out to the car and brought all of the equipment to check the battery, the starter, and the alternator. He then ran back inside to get all the equipment so that he could scrub off the erosion hoping that would help the situation with the battery. Everything in the car came back as good and passed all of the diagnostic tests he was doing. After Warren was done taking all the erosion off the battery he said that was as much as he could do at that point and hopefully that will help. He was so nice and helpful and explaining everything he was doing while checking out my vehicle. I really appreciated his help considering I don't know very much about cars. My battery has continued to start every day since he cleaned off all the erosion. I would highly recommend going hair if you have any issues with your car seeing that the staff is incredibly helpful!

I waited 10 MINUTES.... I came back inside and both the woman and older gentleman were gone. I started crying (i've had a rough start to the week) so yes i started crying because how unprofessional and unbelievable. Marco had walked to the front working from the aisles (didn't know there was a third person working); he immediately stopped working and asked what was wrong. I explained and he dropped everything he was doing to go outside and help me. Now this is customer service! Because of Marco my morning that was rough, got better. I thank you so much for your kindness and helping me. YOU are an amazing human being. Shame on those who decided to hide because they didn't want to help.

Went back Tuesday and at first the lady said they didn't have any cars that matched mine but on Sunday there were at least 7 different cars, then she looked and gave me 2 cars to look at. When I asked about the one from sunday and I was told they threw it away...why. if your throwing money away then they might as well give it to me for free...the lady found it in the garbage but I had to go back and get the side pieces and then they charged me $47 for the part, when I could of gotten it for $24.25 on Sunday. I called and the lady was rude, tried arguing with my wife, and was clearly lying about the price. She kept insisting the climate control and bezzle was 2 different pieces so I was charged $35 for climate control and $10 for the bezzle but the kicker is that in my truck its all 1 piece and if they were separate, it would be broken, so make that make sense. They will scam you when they can then argue with you about the price. Bad business.

Their labor rates are very reasonable as well, especially compared to dealers. I have referred several friends to them. Because they have become so popular due to their great reputation , you have to be willing to be patient, because they simply don't have the capacity a larger service center or dealership does. But for our family, it's worth the wait. My hope is that they expand their operation. They certainly have enough business to warrant expansion.

I also wanted them to look at a few small things, all of which I was told could be done in a day no problem. I setup my appointment in advance and was told I was going to get a quote for the heater install, which I never received. I dropped off my car the night before, and they had the entire next day to work on it. I called the day of dropping it off, and was told the frost heater quote would be given as soon as they can look at my vehicle. The day of my appointment, I received 0 calls from midcoast from 8AM to 4:40PM. I called at 11:30 to check on the status and inquire about my quote, I was told "They are still working on it, getting you all of the information so we only need to make one call vs. several." I waited until 1:00 and then I tried to call to see what was going on. No answer. I get hung up on, put on hold for 5 mins at a time and talk to no one. I try calling again at 2:00, again no one is answering, or I get put on hold immediately with no answer. I try again at 3:00, with no one answering OR calling me back. At this point I have no idea the status of my car of these installs. I end up having to leave work early because I have not heard a thing about my appointment other than "They are working on it" at 11:30. I finally get someone on the phone at 4:40 when I am already on my way there to pick it up. The BOZO who I was dealing with tells me "I tried to call at 1:30 with your quotes"... I never got a call from midcoast or any other numbers all day. I was watching my phone for this call and I did not miss any. He tells me they didnt do any of the installs because it is against their policy to do any of the work before the quotes are excepted? Even when explaining this to me, he STILL DID NOT PROVIDE ANY QUOTES! I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY DID for the 8.5 hrs they "worked" on my vehicle. I still dont even know what the quotes are because he never told me. I went in to get my key and the BOZO just hands me my key and turns around n walks away. This place is an absolute JOKE! Consider yourself warned and take your car/money elsewhere!
