I've purchased two sleeper tractors from Lakeside International and they're great. Lakeside Dave AKA "David Clausen" was the sales representative for both trucks and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. I bought my first truck there in 2021 and I'm still running it. I needed a second one and I contacted David and in less than a month I added another truck to my small fleet. I live in Massachusetts and I flew to Wisconsin to pick the truck up. The truck was inspected by their shop and gone through before my arrival. After I left, I had some minor issues with the truck but David answered my call in a reasonable time. David and his financial manager "Roger Meeker" jumped right in to it to remedy the problem. I definitely recommend this place and the people there. I'll be seen them for another truck in the future. read more

Bought a used truck from them. First, the day I picked it up, there were three marker lights that weren't working (they said they did a DOT INSPECTION)...LOL. I have had nothing but issues with these marker lights, and yet they still charge me for the work. The floor of the box is rotten. Have 6 steel patches on the floor because fork truck tires keep going through (explanation..."well, it was a used box"). I have had this truck for 6 months and it's a lemon. I would advise anyone buying a new or used vehicle from this place, think twice. Their techs are incompetent and service dept. Is as well. OVERPRICED CRAP SERVICE! Stay as far away from this dealership as you can ! cant write a repair order correct so the tech has no idea what he is trying to fix.

Excellent experience finally! I was told it would be a short wait even though they were slammed busy. They got my truck in and figured out the problem and then let me know it would be later that afternoon until they could fix it. I called and rescheduled my load and it was perfect. read more

Friendly and most helpful staff! They answered all out question and despite being busy were completely informative and friendly about doing it. Many other shops talk down to you or act as if it is a chore to talk to you. Not this shop! Our truck alternator seized up causing the belt to snap off. We brought it in super early morning yesterday and they got it in and done by noon the today-AFTER having to order the parts off the assembly line! It's probably the fastest we've ever been in and out of the shop! Amazing place to go to! read more

Our company has been taking our trucks to this company for abut 15-18 years, We have had some prior problems with them mostly that they will tell you they are working on your truck, when actually its been sitting in the lot for 2 days. This time around was the absolute worst experience we have had there. We called to get our truck towed and they said they would pick it up and take it to their shop to work on it, when we called back the next day they said they didn't want to pay to tow it so they didn't go pick it up... WITH OUT CALLING TO LET US KNOW!! Our truck was sitting on the side of the road all night with company tools in it. They have very poor customer service and just horrible service in general. They don't ever fix a problem right away, they say nothing is wrong with it, and yet the problem reoccurs constantly until the vehicle is completely broke down.
