On the search for all weather Rain-X Windshield washer fluid! I had been to 4 different places before going here. Historically, this place, located in a rough neighborhood, was known for being accosted by pan handlers, shady mechanic work taking place in the parking, product on the shelves that had been used, and product stolen out of the boxes. I had little to no faith when I pulled up as an oil change was taking in one area and a battery change in another. Walking up to the door, I noticed a bright eyed and fully alert security guard greeting everyone coming in the store. The store layout was typical of the new COVID world with floor markers and obstacles to help protect the social distancing rules. As I walked down the aisles, I noticed shelves that were mostly full of product. I was also listening to the counter staff making lots of suggestions and helping customers make wise decisions. Every time I have been in this store, there is always a line of customers and it takes forever to be seen. What should take a 5 min trip takes 20 mins. Last time I was in the store, I had 3 employees arguing over who had to help me check out because none of them wanted to do it. I was ignored and then questioned multiple times what I was there for. Buy one and had it installed for $263. This store will rip your wife off because they know she doesn't know the difference. That's BS. This Autozone is located at Greenville and Park, which isn't the best location due to the high number of drifters and drug use but don't let that deter you. Again once inside it might not look super clean but the workers are really helpful. I have been here many times and they have helped me with everything from windshield wipers, head lights and a battery. There is an O'Reily's down the street from this Autozone and while this location might look a little nicer the last two times I have really needed help they refused. This last Thursday my battery died around 7pm. I got it jumped but wanted to make sure wherever I went could actually help me. O'Reily's said they couldn't when I called but when I called Autozone the guy explained he couldn't guarantee anything but that he would either help me find a new battery or jump start me again to make sure I wasn't stranded. I immediately went here and sure enough they went out of their way to help me and even install the battery. I can't remember anyone's name but they are all helpful. While I was outside and he was helping change my tire there was definitely some suspicious behavior going on but everyone pretty much leaves you alone if there is an Autozone worker with you. It doesn't matter how many times I go in here I'm always shocked at how much they help me for the price. read more

I called this autozone to see if they had filters in stock and they did. Juan R, the assistant manager not only helped me find the filter and I only paid $20 in it, he also installed it for FREE!! Yesterday I went into Autozone because my check engine light came on. I am recently divorced and just bought this used car. I have zero knowledge about maintaing a car. Even girls can fix their cars.* I know that now thanks to Auto Zone. :) AutoZone is a great chain of stores. They have knowlegable employees, sell good tools, and either have or will order pretty much anything you could need for your car. Nice free things: they let you borrow tools so you can pull out a part or replace your battery right there; they have a diagnostic tool (some kind of code-reader) that can let you know what your car's computer thinks is wrong; they will test your battery for free and charge it if you need them to. For the chain, I'd go with 5 stars. This location only gets 4 because it's so darn busy! Also, the parking lot seems a little scary after dark. Most times I've gone there some creepy dude (not an employee) has aggressively offered to help me fix my car. It's really not AutoZone's fault, but they picked a location near some unsavory establishments, so they get some unsavory loiterers from time to time. *fix = change air filter, add refrigerant to the a/c, install battery... I have yet to master the removal of leaf springs or replacement of the serpentine belt. Maybe someday. read more

Wow! Went in for a wiper blade that wouldn't stay upright in the arm. Unlike some places who sell parts, but leave you to figure it out, our guy came out to assess the problem, picked a replacement, installed it, when it didn't seem right, he added a part to the adapter and it worked perfectly! One of my headlights went out a couple of months ago just before I was going to go get my inspection. I knew I had to get the bulb replaced. In the past I have had the dealership do it the next time my car was in for an oil change. I stopped into Auto Zone to pick up the bulb and try to do this myself. How hard could it be? There were so many bulbs that I was not sure which one was the correct one. Julio assisted me in finding the right bulb and also went out and installed it in my car for me.
