I am frustrated that I am making payments (FYI Car-Mart quotes payments in biweekly terms, not…read moremonthly) and paying "side notes" for repairs. The car I am paying $576/mo on is not worth that. I am underwater on a car that needs repairs every 6 months, and they act like that is commonplace, and I shouldn't be frustrated by that. I can't tell you how many times I have been told that mechanical parts break and the roads in Arkansas are terrible on auto suspensions. Does any Car-Mart dealership have a mechanic examine its new inventory for roadworthiness and longevity, or do they buy the cheapest things at auction and hope for the best at the customer's expense?

The next day after not hearing from them to schedule a closing day and time I called to confirm. The young salesman was busy, but later a sales manager called me and told that they had made a mistake, and someone had already put a deposit on the vehicle nearly a week earlier. This dealership is not that big... how does a manager not know they've sold a $119k vehicle a week earlier? These guys are not that big, or was there more to the story? I tried to give a deposit, but they said not to worry about it, they would hold it. As I write this review it's two days after they told me they had made a mistake and the car is sold... Looking at the website they are still listing this as for sale. They said they made a mistake, but still have not corrected the website or ads. Poor management, poor business practices. Look back on the recent reviews.. A Michael W had the same issue. How are they still in business?
